The Stone's Scent (Narumi & Mediocritys Muse)

[Narumi]

She nods vaguely. She spent most of the day getting to know himself and his mother more, she found it odd that he had no siblings. It must have been a lot more peaceful for him then it was for her. When it was time for her and her mother to go, she bid him goodbye, and his mother.

 

[Mediocritys Muse]

The time that she was at the house was filled with questions and queries from her and her mother, them seeming to want to get to know them a bit more. He didn't really have a problem answering any of the questions they had, seeing as how they would be family at some point considering the whole engagement prospect. With that in mind he bid them farewell as they were on their way out of the house, it seeming that they had an alright time at the house. Seeing that the visit was over he made his way back up to his room and continued to work on the drawing that he was doing earlier today.

 

[Narumi]

Soon enough Rue was taken to shop for her bridal clothing in many different shops. She spent hours trying on dresses with her mother until she found the right one that both herself and her mother agreed on buying. She was happy with her choice and felt a lot more positive about this wedding.

Yuki had gotten to know his future wife through a couple meetings but in all honesty he didn't really know that much about her, other than what he was told and what he had seen when she was around. He could tell that she was a good person but he hobbies and interests were something that he just didn't know, in truth she probably knew more about him. With that in mind he stood as individuals fitted his attire for the future wedding, him quite nervous as the time encroached ever closer. He has had girlfriends in the past but none of them even ever came close to getting to this point and now that 'this' point was actually dead set to happen he didn't really know how to react. In hindsight he could just chock this up to wedding jitters, all couples have them right?


With that in mind he turns to look at himself in the mirror, this being the first time that he had seen himself in what he would be married in. With that he shrugged and put on a smile, him saying aloud with a nod, "No reason worrying over it." He thought as he stood there, him offering a double blink, 'She's a nice person and frankly even though I don't really know her, I have been thinking about our future...so maybe I am looking forward to this after all.' With that he laughed out loud a bit catching the people working on his fitting off guard, them jumping as he did so.

 

[Narumi]

Rue had spent a lot of time with her future husband as time went past and the wedding was dawning very closely. She was really nervous, but he seemed like a lovely person so she would he able to cope with him for the rest of her life. She smiles lightly as she thought of their future.


On the day of the wedding, when it had finally arrived Rue was awoken and had been getting ready.

Yuki was at the spot of the wedding already, him and his best man being the first ones there so he wouldn't see her prematurely. Quite frankly he didn't believe in the whole, 'if you see your bride in her dress before the ceremony it's bad luck,' wives tale but he didn't press it. The best man said with a light shrug, "I don't know how you do it Yuki, an arranged marriage." Yuki looked over at him and asked with a slightly raised brow, him with an inquisitive expression on his face, "Hmm what do you mean?" The best man elaborated with a slight tilt of his head, "Shouldn't you pick who you're going to spend the rest of your life with?"


He smiled lightly and replied with a nod, "I think that as well but she's a nice girl, I'm sure it will work out fine." "Well man you know I got your back, have ever since that concert back in 2010," the best man chuckled lightly and Akio shortly followed his own laugh.

 

[Narumi]

Rue began walking down the aisle when the ceremony finally begun. She was really nervous when she felt people staring at her, a blush appeared on the apples of her cheeks as she made her way over to her future husband.

 

[Mediocritys Muse]

Yuki stood at the end of the isle, him probably as nervous as she was at this moment. The one thing that he was hoping for was that he didn't forget what he was supposed to do in the ceremony, with that in mind he watched as she walked down the isle. As she approached he could feel that his face was getting a bit warm, he wasn't sure if it was anticipation or just plain fear...perhaps a bit of both, no guy should be stoic at a time like this after all.

 

[Narumi]

Rue had smiled at him slightly and then say through a few minutes of talking until they could get into their vows. She slips a ring into his finger and then said, 'I do' and waits for him to do the same thing for her. At least she was hoping for an I do and not an I don't.

 

[Mediocritys Muse]

Yuki received the ring and her I do, him looking over at her and replied as he slipped the ring on her finger as well, "I do too." As he said the 'too' he gave her a light smile, him not sure what the future holds but he figures it's worth taking a leap with someone like her.

 

[Narumi]

Rue blushes and then when they were allowed to kiss she leaned up and then pecks him on the cheek very lightly. She smiles lightly as she looks up at him. After weeks of preparation they were finally married.

 

[Mediocritys Muse]

He rubs the back of his neck as they turn to face the families on both sides, his best man giving him a thumbs up and a wink. "Are you embarrassed to?" He asks her as they walk down the isle to freedom, him finding this whole thing to be a bit embarrassing. He didn't mind getting married to Rue but the whole extravagant wedding scene kind of made him uneasy.

 

[Narumi]

Rue nods vaguely. If she could be honest she was quite glad to be going to the party venue where some attention would at least be undrawn from the slightest to the two of them. Throughout the party she was given presents, makeup, jewellery and some books that she liked.

 

[Mediocritys Muse]

The party that they went to wasn't quite what he had expected, him expecting his best man to do something odd but strangely enough he didn't. This was quite a surprise seeing as how he never missed a chance to do something comical in a party occasion. Nevertheless the party was winding down and most of the guests were now going home, him at the moment wondering where exactly they would be going after this. If he remembered right his father mentioned something about a house, but he didn't elaborate.

 

[Narumi]

Rue was sitting around, saying goodbye to some guests as she opened her presents. She soon began o rub at her eyes as she to tired, wrapping her arms around herself as she shivered. It had been a long day and she was goring tired.

 

[Mediocritys Muse]

Yuki walks over to Rue, him seeing that she was getting a bit tired right now. Before he could get over to her his father stopped him and handed him a piece of paper and a key, him nodding and walking away. Yuki opened the paper and read what appeared to be an address, him figuring this is what his father mentioned the other day. With that in mind he continued to walk over to Rue and stood beside her with a light smile, him saying with a nod, "How about we go home and get some sleep?"

 

[Narumi]

Rue smiles and nodded gently, carefully standing up and then taking hold of his hand as she held her presents in a bag with her free hand. She places her head onto his shoulder lightly and nuzzles him, still smiling.

 

[Mediocritys Muse]

Yuki looked over at her as she leaned into him, him double blinking as she did so. With that he walked out to the car he had acquired with his drawings and art commissioned by companies and various productions. With that he drove to the address listed on the piece of paper that his father had given him, him knowing the location pretty well so he figured he could find the place pretty easy. It seemed the place was a bit out of the city limits, on out into the countryside which was odd to Yuki. As they pulled up to the house Yuki was a bit surprised, him looking over at Rue with a shocked expression.

[Narumi]

Rue awakened at the sight of the beautiful house before them. She gasps lightly and squeals softly, unstrapping herself from the car. "It's beautiful.... Is it all for us?" She asks him softly as she got out of the car, and instantly began running towards it, eager to just get inside of it and take a good look around.

 

[Mediocritys Muse]

Yuki tilted his head as he out of the car as well, him walking up behind her toward the house, "I think it is." With that was they approached the front of the house he slid the key into the door and slid the door open, it being a traditional Japanese house. With that he turned around and grinned at her. He moved over to her and lifted her off of the ground, carrying her over into the house. Him figuring if they have been adhering to tradition so far, they might as well continue.

 

[Narumi]

Rue giggles softly and then curls up in his arms lightly. She wraps her arms around him gently and then nuzzles against his chest lightly. She soon began to fall asleep then, her eyes fluttering closed.

 

[Mediocritys Muse]

With that he took her into the house and laid her down on the only bed in the house, him figuring that was because of his father. He paused for a moment and wondered if he should sleep next to her, him unsure but figuring he should get use to it seeing as how they are married now. With that he took up a spot beside her under the covers, him glancing 0ver at her as she closed his eyes and in moments he was asleep as well...this day simply draining him to no end.

 

[Narumi]

Rue began to make a start on breakfast the following morning, scooping some ingredients and then began to stir them around gently. She tried to do this quietly so she wouldn't wake her husband up.

 

[Mediocritys Muse]

He slept very well last night, him now rolling over and realizing that she had already woken up. With that he did a few blinks and rubbed his eyes trying to wake himself up, after while he sat up in the bed. He eventually stood from the bed and changed out of his clothing that he didn't take off the previous day before he went to sleep, him switching into something more comfortable. After he was done he wandered through the house wondering where rue had went, him eventually making it into the Kitchen area and seeing her making something. He spoke up as he walked next her, "There you are."

 

[Narumi]

Rue was chopping up some vegetables. Once she was done she began to serve then up. "Good morning" She greeted him softly. "Did you sleep well?" She asks as she places their breakfast in the dining table. She say down and looks to him, smiling.
