So since the last attempt at this rp died three pages in, I'm restarting it. Same basic premise and background, and I'll play the same characters. All other character possibilities are now re opened up and you can create your own. I would still like to have a twin for Regina if possible though, and if possible up to six siblings.
So you think your family is dysfunctional, strange, or just plain crazy? Meet the Stewarts, and you just might reconsider.
I will freely and unashamedly I admit that I stole the plot and basic character outlines directly from a movie, The Hamiltons, but I’m sure we can make this rp all our own. So here’s the basis.
The Stewarts are a family of five or six siblings, whose parents were killed a couple of years ago. In some ways they are a close, typical family, with their issues and idiosyncracies like any other.
Well, except for the fact that each and every one of them kills people on a regular basis. And most of them rather enjoy it.
The Stewarts have a rather untypical issue: they are close to what one might think of as a vampire. While they appear to be normal humans in most aspects, and lead their lives as though they are- complete with school, jobs, and average interactions with others- they just happen to want and need human blood as well. In all aspects of the typical vampire myth, they do not “fit” the myth- they can go outside in the daylight, their reflection shows in mirrors, they age and can die like any other, they do not sleep in coffins or rise from a grave, and garlic and silver has no effect on them. But from birth onward, although they can eat normal human food, they will grow wasted and anemic and very, very irritable if they do not also have human blood as a supplement.
As a result, they are forced to hide their true identities from the community at large. Any time they kill, they must do so carefully and conceal their deed. But often, their urge for blood or towards a particular person’s blood may cause them to lose control, and the resulting mess most likely means they will have to move again. It was due to a slip in control during which both parents were killed, and now the Stewarts are making their way on their own, knowing all the while that if they ever are caught, they will be hunted until they themselves are killed.
What is your role within the family? Do you hate yourself and how you are forced to live, or do you revel in it?
This will be a private rp, so far AlwaysChaos and I have two characters each. I’m thinking three to five roleplayers max. So if you would like to join, here’s the basic available character possibilities:
My characters
Background: The Stewart parents, Darryl and Frances, were also born with the need for blood with which they have passed down to their children; the trait has been a secret passed down from their ancesters from generation to generation. Each generation, because of their need to keep their need for blood a secret, has become increasingly inbred over time, resulting in the gene accounting for their need for blood being passed down repeatedly and strengthening with each new generation. Although the family has dwindled down to only a few survivors in this generation, it appears the the twins may be the next to carry it on within the youngest generation.
Darryl and Frances Stewart were killed just over two years ago in an attempt to kill gone wrong, in which their intended victims turned the tables on them and killed them instead. Fortunately the majority of their children were old enough then to have learned how to discreetly kill and dispose of bodies as needed, and all were growing old enough to begin to learn to control themselves. This doesn’t mean, however, that the children, and even those now legal adults, still don’t have lapses, and in the past two years the Stewarts have been forced to move several times just in case suspicion is turned their way.
Because some of the children are underage, and because they want to draw as little attention to themselves as possible, some of the children attend school as if they were normal and also have a social worker; this only increases the difficulty of their not being caught.

Gender: female
Personality: Regina is not so much what one would call a loose cannon as the person who would light the canon’s fuse. Regina is intelligent and sly, coy and suggestive, and very devious and manipulative. She can come across as a fun and charming, if not exactly “normal” person, or she can be harsh and brutal. She has fairly good control of her urges to kill and can normally contain herself until an appropriate moment, but sometimes she snaps and cannot hold herself back, particularly when she is with her twin and influenced by his emotions and reactions. Regina is able to make friends and get people to trust her, but she has no real affection for anyone outside her family. She sometimes goes by Gina. Regina is happy with her life and with her identity and has no problem killing whatsoever; she rather enjoys and is energized and excited by it, in fact. Regina works at a college cafeteria but does not attend college herself.
Looks: (please include a pic of a real person) Regina is of average height, slim build, and dresses punkish/”goth” in appearance generally. She has brown hair naturally but has dyed it black, it is long and straight. Regina’s eyes are blue and she generally wears dark makeup, though not the typical “goth face” of white powder and the like.

Interactions/relationships, both within family and outside it: I will expand upon this once more family members are added. Regina is very close to a degree that is not legal with her twin, and feels free to be fully herself with him. Regina is loyal and protective towards her family and does love them, but this doesn’t mean she doesn’t clash, fight with, and deliberately provoke them on a regular basis, particularly Jeremy. Regina sees Jeremy as weak and fake and so deliberately flaunts her relationship with Riley and her less restrained nature to irritate and anger him. She feels that Jeremy cannot control them and enjoys rubbing it in his face. When it comes down to it, though, Regina will always choose family first.
Feelings towards self and need for blood: Regina is very content with herself and her need for blood. She enjoys her life and her sense of power over others and has absolutely no issue with what she is.

Personality: Jeremy comes across as dorky, strained, and somewhat uptight to those outside his family. Within his family, Jeremy is seen as something of a joke so far as being the head of the household and authority figure goes; all know that the twins could easily outpace him if they chose. Jeremy is a smart guy as far as intellect goes but not as devious as Regina; he is not one to manipulate but rather one to desperately hope that if he makes a suggestion, things will go as he wants. Jeremy privately despises himself and his life and feels that he is a failure when it comes to filling his father’s shoes as the man of the house. Jeremy is uncomfortable within his own skin and doesn’t truly feel like a man. He is so unhappy and insecure with himself that he resents and feels secret rage towards those who are happy, either within the family or outside of it, and this occasionally results in brutality towards others on his part, though he generally has very good self control. Jeremy very much wants to present their family as normal and happy and is desperate to keep up appearances.
Looks: (please include a pic of a real person) Jeremy has wavy, slightly longish blonde hair, blue eyes, a cleft in his chin, and a grin that appears dorky and desperate. He always dresses neatly and more dressily than is required with tucked in shirts. He is slightly short, of average weight.

Jeremy loves his family and wants to be close to and connect with them but cannot seem to genuinely connect, as most of them view him as a joke and he so resents most of them. The twins in particular enrage him and make him jealous at times, and he is constantly trying to assert authority over them without it quite going as he wants. Jeremy has no real friends or lovers because his awkwardness puts off most people and because he feels he is not capable of someone really loving him.
Feelings towards self and need for blood: Jeremy doesn’t feel guilty over his need for blood and enjoys it, but he privately is disgusted by what he is as well and by his having to be so different. He resents what he is.
If anyone would like to play a friend or boyfriend or teacher, police officer, social worker, or the like who may or may not be aware or suspicious of their secret, that would be cool. Also feel free to play a victim or future victim, or of course, a sibling.

3. This will be a rp with a large amount of violence, and that is fine. Also fine with swearing. Any sexual content of course is to be within the PG-13 boundary. However, keep in mind that this rp will contain violence, and I am not opposed to homosexuality, also, the twins will have an “interesting” relationship. If this will bother you, this likely won’t be the roleplay for you. There is a purpose and explanation for it.
4. As always, no godmodding, communicate with other players through pms and the plot threadline about plots, and ask before killing a character or committing major damage against them.
5. Characters must have evidence of extensive thought put into creating them. Personality and the like must be descriptive and in sentences.
