What kind of weapon technology exists? Are we free to invent our own (non-overpowered of course) weapons for our characters?

Also would it be alright to assume that Tazira handed Kyren an access key when the accepted the job? I don't want to draw out the encounter too long and make the whole thing awkward.

Seeing as this could be important for character development, how is the lodging situation on this ship? I would have assumed it would be giving the captain her own quarters with everyone else being paired off into groups of two, but I'm not really sure how you want it to work.
