Ash

Everything felt like it was happening all at once, and Ash was a little overwhelmed. The waitress obviously needed some kind of help, and then Kris had to be the first of the other girls to arrive. It wasn't that Ash didn't like Kris, it was just... well, she was intimidating. She was sure that Kris felt the same way she did and that if it wasn't for Dean holding them together, they never would've been friends.

"I don't know." Ash admitted when Kris asked where Dean was. It was a bit odd given the urgency of the text that she was the last of them to arrive, and also annoying because Ash didn't do small talk well. What was she supposed to do? Her mind was going a million miles a minute, flipping through various conversation topics. Anything to fill the deafening silence.

"So... wonderful weather we're having."

God fucking damn it.

Thankfully, Dean came through the doors, and Ash couldn't help but let out a long sigh of relief. Thank god. A smile drifted across her face, her shoulders visibly relaxing now that Dean was here and able to act like a mediator between the two girls. Well, maybe not a mediator, but someone to ease the nerves that Ash felt.

Dean didn't waste any time, though, dropping that bomb on Ash and Kris. She just stared at Dean for a moment, blinking slowly, letting the words settle with her. "I think I might be pregnant." They bounced around in Ash's head, and she found herself lightly biting her bottom lip, her gaze moving to the table in front of her. Pregnant. Really? Again? It wasn't... why did she feel so negative about this? She should be happy for her best friend, right? But was Dean even happy about this?

Or, Dean thought she was pregnant -- but girls always knew, didn't they? It was a change in your body, something growing inside of you. Surely she didn't think but knew -- she was just too scared to admit it.

"Do you need to get like, a pregnancy test? Who's even is it?"

Kris wasn't looking at Ash as she answered, as though Dean would appear at any moment and Kris wanted to spot her first. In all actuality, though, Kris was wondering what she was doing here. She knew she wasn't the nicest to Ash, and at times, Dean. Being the youngest, Kris was truthfully scared of being 'left behind', but she'd never told anyone that. She hated being so young, because people looked at her as though she were a child still.

Hence why Mason had a drink poured on him the night before.

"So... wonderful weather we're having."

Kris let her gaze fall back onto Ash, a small smirk playing at her lips. "Really? That's what you wanna talk about?" The waitress had come and taken their drink orders, and now Ash wanted to talk about the weather. Whatever Dean wanted had better be more interesting than that.

As if on cue, the dark haired girl appeared, looking flustered as she sank into the seat. "What the hell is wrong with you?" Kris blurted, though she didn't look as though she regretted her words. Maybe it was that or maybe it was just the nerves Dean was obviously feeling, but her next statement caused a silence to fall between the three. At least, until Ash spoke, asking if she needed a pregnancy test and the golden question: who was the daddy?

"Wow." Kris sighed, leaning forward in her seat. "Really, Dean? Again?" Looking around the room, she finally looked back at the two, coming to a decision. "I doubt you wanna do a pregnancy test here. I mean, unless you do, by all means. But we can go to my house if you need..." She was gonna say privacy, but there wasn't alot of that at her house. "At least there's some leftover alcohol. Not for you, of course, Dean."

Addison | 21

Addison hadn't been expecting to sleep with Carter again at all, let alone so soon. Unfortunately, she couldn't chalk this one up to just the liquor she'd ingested. Sure she had a lot but it wasn't nearly as much as the last time and besides, this had come partly due to alcohol and partly due to pure attraction. "Shit," she muttered as she sat up in the bed, only a thin sheet draped over her body. She couldn't say she regretted it because in all honesty she didn't but she knew it wasn't right.

Then again neither was Ryan having his girlfriend or whatever she was burst in on them in his bed. Whatever. Fuck him. He hadn't even called or texted to make sure she was okay and that only annoyed her more. Not like he owed her anything since they weren't a couple but they were supposed to be friends. She hadn't checked up on him either and that made her feel bad but she wasn't the one who ran out on him. She didn't care that they didn't go further as it was probably best but it was still a fucked up situation.

She sat up and looked around, hearing the shower running in her master bathroom. She fought her urge to join him and pulled on a pair of pajamas instead. After making her way into the kitchen to start some coffee, she rummaged through the fridge for something to cook. Was that too girlfriend-ish? She was starving when she first woke up and she was sure he'd be hungry too but she didn't want it to be weird. Feeling that she was probably overthinking, she started to cook the eggs and bacon anyway. What could it really hurt?

Chance was hoping that he could sneak in after the party last night. He was already irritated as Drake kept flirting with some guy Chance had never seen before, he was a victim of some random dude’s punch, and he may or may not had to much to drink. So when he walked in and he saw his sister waiting for him in the living room, he almost ran out of the house to lay in the middle of the street hoping that someone would hit him.

Chance sometimes forgot that his sister was back, he had gotten into a routine after she had left. Not like he always snuck out to go to parties, this one was an exception. He was surprised when he walked in and she was sitting there pouring over a book and Chance felt guilty. There were slight bags under her eyes, her messy bun was exactly that but somehow worse, and she still had stains from the diner on her shirt.

She instantly stood up and the volume her voice was booming in the living room in no less of 5 seconds and Chance tried to apologize, maybe even tell her the truth, but he could see the ferocity in her eyes until he couldn’t. Winnie took deep breath and looked at her brother, making him promise that he didn’t pull something like this again. He nodded before heading to his room, trying not to get too close to his sister so she wouldn’t smell the alcohol.

When he got to his room, he shut the door and stripped his clothes until he was just in his boxers. Chance wasn’t tired, he had a little energy left and wanted to escape from the room that seemed a little too small for him at that moment. If Winnie wasn’t home, he would’ve totally did that, but he didn’t want to risk running into her and being forced to explain why he was at an O’Reilly party. Winnie didn’t know any of them, but she sure heard of their parties and wanted her brothers to try to avoid them.

At first Chance tried to avoid them, but being friends with Drake meant scurrying after him making sure that he didn’t die or something and that never got Chance in the best situations all the time. Chance just had a big heart even when Drake did forget sometimes that Chance was there, or at least that was what Chance thought. He didn’t know if Drake noticed his efforts of trying to be a good friend. He wanted to ask his older sister for advice, but he didn’t know how to explain things to her that he himself was still trying to figure out on his own.

So the only power had in his hands was to lay in bed staring at his ceiling, time passing by before the sun started making an appearance in the sky. He could hear his mother come through the front door and make her way to her room and then he could hear Winnie’s car start, the engine sound receding away as she drove away. He took that as an opportunity to go on a walk.

It was usually a little chilly this early in the morning, so he throws on the closest presentable outfit, grabs his wallet and house key before heading out the door. He needed to sort out his thoughts.

Valerie | 19

"I've grown bored of messing with the people here. Especially when they are all just as capable of buying or blackmailing themselves out of things as I am," Valerie rolled her eyes as she replied to his question. Besides, it wasn't like she didn't have a few tricks up her sleeves already. She always did. "We both know almost everything here can be easily replaced. Not like I'm broke or something," she added with a shrug. Why worry about the mess or things getting broken when she could just use her daddy's card as always.

Valerie walked over and sat down on the couch next to him, looking through her notes on her phone. "Do you mind doing me a huge favor? I ordered a couple of things for the party but they apparently can't deliver it. Would you go pick it up for me?" she said, as she batted her rather long lashes at him. Not that she needed to beg when it came to Jeremy. He might complain but he'd still help her out. Just as she would with him. That was just their relationship and she wouldn't have it any other way.

"We are throwing a party," she smirked as Alexandra walked through the doors and asked what the meeting was all about. "What the hell happened to you?" Val questioned as she finally glanced over at her friend. It was obvious that she was pissed and Val was sure it had something to do with the ugly step-sister she'd recently acquired. She felt bad for Alexandra. Having the southsiders invade her home. It was a true tragedy.

Jackson | 17

Taking another hit off the blunt as Phoebe mentioned Finn catching because of the smell he chuckled. Wasn't like this was the first time Jackson smoked somewhere he shouldn't. "We will just spray something to cover it up. He'll never know," he shrugged. Jackson didn't have any siblings so he didn't truly know the pain of having to deal with them. Younger siblings using your stuff without asking. Older ones nagging about everything you did. As much as people complained about their own, he wished he had brothers or even sisters growing up. Things could get lonely and sometimes kinda boring at home when you were an only child.

"Fuck you!" he yelled out loudly to the guy on the motorcycle as he nearly hit them and then flipped Phoebe off, laughing as they kept going. Eventually they reached the O'Reilly house and Jax was about to yell right along with Phoebe when he noticed a fire still burning in the front yard that he could easily assume was Kai’s. Of course. "What is up with you guys setting shit on fire?" he rolled his eyes though there was a joking manner behind his words. Jax was one to cause trouble with them but he was never as fascinated by fire as they seemed. Especially Kai. It was like almost every time Jax was with him, something was catching fire or blowing up.

"Come on, man! I got a blunt!” he called out rather loudly. He reached into the bag she’d brought and pulled out a breakfast burrito. β€œHave I told you that you’re my favorite,” he joked as he took a bite. He’d put the blunt out and back behind his ear for his friend to smoke with him. He had no idea what the plan was today but when did he ever? They usually just found something to get into as they went. Jax had always been a pretty 'go-with-the-flow' type guy. That had proved to be both good and bad depending on the situation.

Irritation had been Leo’s mood since the party the night before. He was glad that the laundromat was empty that day, there was no one there to ask him stupid questions or make a mess. He was able to spend the morning fixing one of the machines in peace. When his phone buzzed in his pocket, his irritation level raised. He was not in the mood to deal with his parents complaining about him coming home late, or his friends complaining that he had ditched them at the party.

Fact was, Leo had no plans for the party and had only gone because his friends were there, but he was never really in the mood to β€œparty” he just wanted to get messed up for the night. He had spent the majority of the night in the kitchen on his own, smoking and drinking. But his focus had changed at one point, when he had spotted a familiar face at the party. That person had spent the night surrounded with their friends, so Leo stayed away. And as it always was, Leo had bad luck that night. He had waited for the person of his focus to be alone before addressing them, and as soon as they were Leo went to speak with them. Just before he got to them, it was raining paint and chaos filled the party.
Thanks to the way the party ended, Leo wasn’t able to end his night the way he wanted, and he was definitely not happy about it. He finished the work on the machine in front of him and pulled himself out of his thoughts before finally checking his phone. His mood lifted a bit when he saw who had texted him. The text was an opportunity for him to let off some steam. He looked around the laundromat that was still empty, and replied to the text. He invited its sender over to the laundromat. Leo was the only person that worked there on the days he worked, so he never really took a lunch break or any break at all, but today would be different. He figured it wouldn’t hurt for him to close the place for a little while.

Jack couldn’t help but grow impatient and irritated as he stood in the front room of the office building. As he stood there with no response, he checked his phone to make sure this was the address where he was supposed to be. And he was at the right place. He began dialing the number that he had for the manager of the office who had hired him. But before he pressed the call button, he stopped. A redhead girl had appeared in the doorway to another room.

She seemed genuinely shocked to see Jack standing there, and it took her a minute to speak. That only kicked up Jack's frustration with the whole situation. He stood there as she seemed to be examining him. He opened his mouth to say something, but she spoke first.

The girl's introduction made Jack raise an eyebrow. She had not said much, but for some odd reason had started walking toward him awkwardly and even shot finger guns at him. β€œYeah. The repair guy.” Jack said not sure what to make of this girl. When she had turned away from him and started down the hall, Jack couldn’t help but notice that she kept looking back at him. It was like she was afraid of him.

The idea that this girl was afraid of him was enough to take his irritation to slight anger. Not only had Jack had a long night and now a hangover, but he hated being profiled. The fact that he had some tattoos and lived on the southside didn’t mean he was some sort of animal who couldn’t be trusted. And while this wasn't the first time he had dealt with this, it was the first time he had dealt with it in his own neighborhood.

When they were standing in front of the sink that Jack was supposed to fix, he got right to work. He thought the best way to deal with the situation was to get the job done and get out of there as soon as he could. He didn’t say anything to the girl as he took off his hat and got on the ground to look at the leaking pipe. He reached behind the pipe and turned the handle to the valve that shut off the water to the pipe and sink. He had hoped that his lack of communication would be a sign to the girl to leave him alone.

Jeremy welcomed the opportunity to leave Val’s place. Not only did that mean that he could race around in his car some more, but as soon as Alexandrea walked in, he knew he didn’t want to deal with her. She clearly had an attitude and Jeremy wanted nothing to do with it. Alexandra was Val’s friend, and while he didn’t mind being around her, he wasn’t about to listen to her drama. He nodded at Val’s request and got up and headed out the door, giving Alexanda a head nod as he went by.

It didn’t take long for him to arrive at the store that Val had ordered her party supplies from. He was in and out of the store even faster. As he sat at the parking lot exit, waiting for the traffic to die down so he could pull out onto the road, Jeremy noticed a girl walking on the grass near the street. As he watched her, he couldn’t help but laugh as she fell. His interest was officially peaked and as he turned onto the road he drove slowly over to where she was.

He pulled to the side of the road near the girl and watched her stand. β€œHey. Are you okay?” he asked, calling out his passenger side window. When she looked at him, he was shocked to see how cute the blonde was. He pulled his sunglasses off and looked her up and down before deciding to turn on the charm. He turned off the car and walked around to meet her on the grass. β€œIs there anything I can help you with?” he asked, putting on his best smile and flexing slightly as he crossed his arms.

Arsen Grey,
pissed off Southside outfit dvds12 dvds12

Arsen’s life hadn't always been shit, but now that it was- it truly was. Last night had been one of his better nights, for the most part. He’d spent the morning scouring the area for some odd jobs, and managed to find a restaurant that was willing to pay cash for him to wash dishes for a few hours; he didn’t enjoy many aspects of the Southside -the place was stupid and the people even more stupid- but he enjoyed the fact that people were sketchy enough here to pay a teen under the table. With cash in his pocket, he’d headed to a nearby cafe and grabbed a small bite to eat, and even met someone kind enough to let him charge his phone to full battery.

Arsen walked for a while after that, heavy backpack tight on his back, until the sun began to set and it was growing harder and harder to see in front of himself. He’d found a place to settle when the streetlights began to flick on above his head- a space under a bridge that looked generally unoccupied. Once his tent was up and he’d settled inside, he relaxed against his the soft sleeping bag he’d childishly splurged on and pulled out his phone.

He spent a long time after that texting Elsie- a girl he’d been talking to for a while now. He didn’t have time to mess around with girls, especially with everything else he had going on in his life, but she was exactly what he wanted in a girl. She had the words to say when he didn’t feel like talking, but hung on every word when he did. She had a stubborn streak that endeared him as much as it infuriated him. And to top it all off she was Kai’s younger sister, and he saw the twitch in the boy’s eye every time Elsie spoke to him. He’d been Kai’s friend once upon a time and, like most things in his life, he couldn’t remember when things had changed; all he knew now is that he lived to see the boy seething with anger.

Things had been going great that night for him. After such a good day, he was feeling more cheerful than normal as he laid down and texted Elsie. The two had kept a running conversation about some television show that Arsen had never seen, intermingled with flirting from both ends. Elsie had entertained him with accounts from the party that her family had apparently thrown, and he found himself smirking at the screen a few times. But then her replies had started to slow, from every couple of minutes to every ten and fifteen instead, and the dark thoughts crept in and took over; she was on the phone flirting with him while talking to another boy- he was sure of it. Insults came to mind, β€˜slut’ and β€˜whore’ but he was too tired to argue. So when Elsie asked him to come see her at their party, he’d left her on read and went to sleep.

Arsen woke up angry the next morning, violently so, and nearly ripped his tent in half while taking it down. Having gone to sleep angry the night before, he’d been plagued with nightmares that resulted in him catching very few hours of sleep. For all the luck he’d had yesterday, he seemed to have run out this morning, as the first thing he’d realized was that he had forgotten to refill his water jugs the night before- and that he was nearly out of toothpaste. Elsie had texted him then, as he was mid-tantrum, and he’d thrown his phone on the ground in a fit of rage. He collected his phone once everything was packed away inside of his backpack, and was mildly relieved that his government issued phone was indestructible, at least.

He read the text then, a request to meet at their spot in the Southside park. He almost answered with an enthusiastic no, his morning already miserable enough without having to see her face, but then he realized human interaction was the best way to get his anger out; and he could figure out who exactly she’d been talking to last night. He made his way to the park and easily found Elsie sitting on the bench they always met at. He stomped over to the bench and let his body fall onto the wooden seat, tossing his bag haphazardly onto the ground as he did so. β€œSo?” he asked, turning to face her with an expectant look on his face. β€œWhat?”

After speaking and receiving only an uncomfortable silence in response, Sam wasn’t sure if Finn had just decided to suddenly go mute on him. Was he going to leave? Did Sam just upset him further? This worried him greatly, and his brows furrowed at the man, despite his best attempts to not show his concern. When Finn finally spoke, Sam finally let out the breath he hadn’t even realized he was holding. Oh, good. So he wasn’t planning an escape plan after all. β€œI’m glad, Finn.” He breathed a sign of relief, putting his hand on his chest. His heart was racing. He knew Finn was a nice man, but was sure he’d have quite a few choice words. Maybe he was just keeping them inside, as usual. He really couldn’t blame him though, considering that would be rather hypocritical. He lowered his hand and let it rest at his side, looking at the man in front of him.

Honestly, he didn’t want to admit what they actually had. He didn’t even think Finn would want to go back to it even if he did suggest it, but also Sam was over it by then. For the most part, at least. He still found him attractive, but Sam was focused on many other things now. He was trying to get his life together away from his family, he didn’t have time for relationships he thought. Was Finn even ready for a relationship himself? He was always focused on work and on his sister. Phoebe was always a troublemaker, and Finn would always find himself chasing after her. Sam knew this from the multitude of stories Finn used to tell them in their texts and calls.

β€œWell then, Finnegan Lane Faraday, shall we dine?” He exaggerated his words a bit, faking a British accent and doing a horrid job of it. Doing an extravagant bow, he took Finn by the arm and led him to the kitchen where there was two steaks on the counter. The man let go and retrieved the gravy boats. They were gifts from his grandmother- antiques passed down through the different generations of his family. She skipped giving them to his father due to his clumsiness, though Sam doubted he was much better. He set them down behind the two steaks and went over to his fridge. β€œNow, Finnegan, we have the finest- THE FINEST- selection of cheap liquor store wine right here in Le Sharp’s.” Sam took two bottles out of the fridge and shut the door with a hip-bump, dancing very cheesily his way back over to the steaks and setting the wine down before retrieving the wine glasses and repeating the same movements as before.

Wasn’t there something he was forgetting? Putting a finger to his chin, it came back to him. Finn loved alfredo sauce, right? At least last time they talked about food, he had made that known. He held up a finger to his friend and ran off back to the fridge, getting the alfredo sauce. He had luckily known Finn wasn’t one to eat meat, so he had made sure the steaks were made of a mix of blackbeans and soy. He taste-tested them before to make sure they were good, and he certainly thought so. He opened the container of alfredo sauce and quickly dumped it on Finn’s fake steak. β€œI hope you like it though, seriously Finn. I was hoping you wouldn’t ditch me at the last second.” That, in the moment, was quite honestly one of his biggest fears. He couldn’t stand the thought of Finn hating him especially after everything they had done and said together. β€œNow, what did Phoebe do to make you look like you lost a fight with a pink Teletubby?”

The moment Jamie agreed to come in, Winnie could feel the breath that she didn’t know she was holding, release. She slams the phone down on the receiver before heading back into the kitchen. She sternly asked for the kid to clean up he mess and to finish the last of her orders without burning down the building. When she sees that he has some type of footing, she heads back to the dining area to attend to her waitress duties.

When she looks back to her recently abandoned table she notices that Dean is sitting with the two blondes. Dean had a look of panic on her face and that worried Winnie a little bit. Sure Winnie could be a little blunt and guarded, but that didn’t mean she was completely heartless. Dean had been nothing but nice to her when she started working here, training her alongside Jamie, and never letting Winnie feel left out.

The girls are talking in hushed tones, Winnie starting to catch part of their conversation as she made her way to the table. She stops abruptly in her spot when she catches the words β€œpregnant” and β€œagain.” Without even noticing her eyes are wide open as she feels that she is intruding on a conversation that didn’t include her. Even thought they were having a private conversation in a not-so-private place. A place that was her job and they couldn’t stop her from doing her job. So she makes a step towards the table, but meets the eye contact of Dean and the girl sitting next to her prompting for the girl with her back to Winnie to face towards the shocked waitress.

β€œJust let me know when you’re ready to order.” Winnie pushes out, trying to find a way out of the awkward situation. Thankfully that moment is also when Jamie finally steps into the diner and says a quick greeting. β€œHi Jamie!” Winnie exclaims, just short of shouting. β€œThanks for coming in, I’ll help you in the kitchen.” Winnie quickly scurries behind Jamie, almost way too fast. When she is finally in the back a breath of relief leaves her mouth. Jamie immediately starts working, sending the kid to do some dishes.

Winnie doesn’t pay attention to him at first despite leaning on the counter right next to where he was working. When he is done with the orders, Winnie takes them out to the right customers, but she subtly glances towards Dean’s table. Again she hides herself in the kitchen, again beside Jamie. Her eyes are watching her coworker’s table again, her bottom right lip is between her teeth, and across her chest, her left elbow rests on her right forearm as her hand plays with the gold necklace adorning a sun and butterfly.

She notices that her quiet behavior is slightly bothering Jamie and he seems like he’s about to bolt, but Winnie opens her mouth first. β€œHow well do you know Dean?” The words come out fast before she can properly rephrase the question and she instantly feels guilty. β€œI’m sorry that is none of my business and absolutely inconsiderate.” Winnie was never nosy, but what she heard from Dean’s table was interesting to her. She turns away from the table to stop fixating on the other waitress, her arms lean themselves on the counter and she finally looks up to Jamie. β€œI’m sorry about that.”

Alyssa raised her eyebrow at TK's sputtering before he left. Shrugging to herself as she thought he was quite cute all riled up. She went back to the paper before he came back in, hiding behind Malia who looked to be on the verge of tears from trying not to laugh. She remained quiet as it was explained as to how she got here. When Malia finished, Alyssa continued "I won't be here long, I am looking for a place and a job so I am sorted out before the baby arrives" She remembered never telling them who the baby's father was and debated the option of telling them. Asking them both to sit down she spoke up.

"There was something I...left out or didn't get a chance to explain. probably both but.....Ryan is the baby's father"

She explained to them both as the news sunk in. She knew she could not stay here since they were close to the family and it would be a crappy move anyway if she did.

"Don't worry about it though, I will move out by the end of the day and find somewhere else to get back on my feet. I don't expect you to let me stay here its going to be awkward anyway"

She explained as she looked at the siblings, confused by the lack of reaction from either of them about the little confession she gave to them both. She went back to the newspaper and started writing down the numbers of some jobs.

"I will make a few jobs and get a job out of one of these"

Nate was antsy, sending a frantic text back asking for more, that he had the cash. When the text came back he was delighted. Finishing up his food, he text Krista and Jade that he had work for the day and he would see them tomorrow. As he left the diner, his phone buzzed with the latest message saying where to go and when. sending back a thumbs up, Nate made his way like someone retracing their steps.

Reaching a crappy apartment block, he made his way up the stairs since the lift was still busted. reaching the apartment, he knocked and handed over the cash, before taking the small brown bag and walking away. Trying to play it cool when in fact he was like a kid on christmas. He did not even wait until he left the building, instead going into an abandoned apartment on the ground floor.

**Trigger Warning**
He pulled off his hoodie and sit against the wall, using the sleeves to fashion a crude knot on his upper arm, his full arm now exposed and his bruised elbow. , he tapped it a few times to get the vein up. It was like a routine, his body anticipating the next hit. pulling the cap from the needle, he primed it before jabbing it into his elbow with a grunt.

He injected the fluid into his bloodstream, pulling out the needle and undoing the knot as the euphoric feeling hit him like a tidal wave. Pulling on his hoodie, he lay there in the dingy apartment relishing in the feeling.
**Trigger finished**

He remembered the text message he got and he stood to his feet. Leaving the building and heading in a direction he was all too familiar with, thinking he looked fine and ok, when he clearly wasn't. Cold sweats and trembles as his eyes were blown and dilated wide. He pulled up his hood as he neared the building, taking his time as he knew he was a bit early. He hung around outside the building watching as a few people came and went. and like clockwork the lunch sign went up.

Taking his queue, he stepped forward and opened the door, the bell tinkling as he stepped inside.

"Miss me?"

That was about the response he'd expected from Kris, and Kai turned slightly to the side when she went to shove him in the chest, but he still stumbled backwards. Stupid strong sister. He glowered after Kris as she walked away, and then grabbed a stick and turned back to his fire, poking at the shoes to make sure that there would be nothing left. The way Kai saw it, he was just teaching Kris a lesson about stealing, because he was pretty sure she hadn't purchased these -- just like the majority of her wardrobe.

Whilst he was in the middle of his poking and prodding, another one of the O'Reilly siblings came up. Wow, Kai was popular today. He smiled at his older brother, rolling his eyes at his first comment. "She can try, but I like to think that deep down, she loves me." He also locked his bedroom door every night for a reason. Kris easily had the rage to hold him down and smother him with a pillow -- plus Kai's flabby but manly arms meant that he wasn't exactly the strongest.

He lifted an eyebrow when Ryan asked about advice. "Okay, I don't know if I'm the best one to be giving advice, but I can--" his words were abruptly cut off by the sound of a car horn, followed by Phoebe's loud voice. For such a tiny girl, she sure did have a pair of lungs. Fuck. He forgot they were supposed to hangout.

"Wait, alright, okay. Look, I gotta go right now but when I get home," Kai shoved the stick into his brother's hand and then started to back away, finger gunning all the while. "We'll have that talk and I'll give you the best advice. Also don't let that fire get too big or catch the house on fire otherwise Jack will kill both of us. Okay, bye."

And then he was gone, slipping around the corner of the house and making his way out to the front yard, hands shoved in his pockets. "Alright, alright. Calm your ass, Phoebe. I'm coming." She was liable to wake up the entire block with that kind of raucous noise and after last night's party, most of the block were still nursing hangovers.

"Why do I have to sit in the back?" He asked with a small whine when he saw Jax up from. Still, dejectedly, he opened the back door and slid in, pulling in closed with a huff.

Ava

Ava did not leave him alone. Partially because what if he stole the pipes or something to buy drugs, but also because she was a fixer at heart. Mainly with machines and electric, because leaky pipes was something that she had never been able to figure out just by doing. It didn't even necessarily occur to Ava as she watched that one, it was kind of weird to watch, and two, the guy probably didn't want her around. It wasn't like she was talking or being a bother, anyway.

Eventually, though, it got boring. Very boring. This was why she didn't learn plumbing and had never bothered to learn it -- it was boring. If there wasn't a risk of shocking oneself, was it even worth learning about? So finally, she let out a long, exaggerated sigh. "I'm going back to my desk. Get me when you're done and I'll pay you."

And she did what she had said, heading back to her desk to try and run the code again and figure out her issue. Although she was distracted, and frustrated, and simply couldn't focus and the issue kept seeming to get worse. Eventually, she gave up, slumping back into her chair and pushing it away from the desk, her gaze glaring at the lines of code.

Maybe plumbing was a better option.

Looking nothing short of dejected and miserable in her damp clothes, Josie couldn't help but tilt her head back and stare at the sky as she wondered if this was her life now. She'd run from her hometown in search of something better, and thought she'd found it here, but so far she was just miserable. At home, not at home, in her car, in a ditch... it was all the same, and so far, it was driving her crazy.

Hearing a vehicle approaching, she nearly burst into tears. Instead, she just tensed, ready for anything. Lowering her head, she nearly did a double take when she saw Jeremy's face from within the car. Actually, she did do a double take. The same question from before repeated in her mind as she wondered if he was here to ridicule her or just tell her to move her piece of junk. Either way, she was ready for it with a retort on the tip of her tongue.

It died as he removed his sunglasses and asked if there was anything he could help her with. Gaping at him like a fish out of water, she finally realized what she was doing and shook herself. "No, I'm, uh... I'm fine." Her voice would choose then to crack, quite noticeably, too. Clearing her throat, she tried again. "Car died. But I'm okay! I, uh..." Biting her bottom lip, she took a few steps closer to him, hoping he couldn't notice how soaked she was. "Do you happen to know of a tow truck company I can call, actually?"

Alexandra heard something about a party as she walked in, though after the night before, she wasn't sure if she ever wanted to party again. Jeremy didn't say much to Alexandra, the pair exchanging a look on his way out. Sliding into the chair he'd been previously occupying, she heard Val's question as the redhead finally looked at her friend. "My sister's a bitch." She quipped back, leaning back some in the chair. "I don't want to talk about it."

And she didn't. Meeting Val's gaze, Alexandra fixed her with a leveled look. "So what's this about a party?" Alexandra knew she looked like hell, but it was nothing some makeup and concealer couldn't fix, especially if they were going to have an actual decent party. No southside trash, right? Already Alexandra could feel her mood shifting, but damn if she didn't need a drink or something stiffer this morning.

Carter got out of the shower a short time later, making his way back into the bedroom. He was actually surprised to see that Addison wasn't there; he hadn't heard her move at all. Using the towel to dry his wet hair some, he pulled on the shorts he'd found and grabbed his clothes from the night before. Heading into the kitchen, he paused when he heard the sounds of someone cooking. Quirking a brow, he stepped into the kitchen, watching Adi for a moment before speaking.

"This is almost as good as breakfast in bed." A teasing smirk was present on his features as he slid up next to her at the counter. Reaching across her for a cup, he made sure to let his presence linger before moving onto the coffeepot, pouring himself a cup. Leaving out the sugar, he opted to drink it black, turning to lean against the counter as he watched her work.

"What are you making?" It was easy to tell, really, but he found that he didn't mind early morning conversation with the girl. She really didn't have to go through all the trouble; he wasn't generally a breakfast person. But maybe it would help her with whatever had happened the night before. Sipping at his coffee, he let the moment drag on for a bit before speaking again. "Did you wanna talk about it?"

Ryan couldn't help but smirk at Kai's comment about his sister. They all knew about Kris' anger issues, but none of them really talked about it beyond making jokes. Perhaps someone should talk to her about it, but then again, perhaps someone should address Kai's love for fire. It was just another thing that wasn't discussed in the O'Reilly household. Besides, Ryan had alot on his mind anyway, and he needed someone to talk to.

But before he could even bring up what was bothering him, Kai had to leave. "Wait-" Ryan started, but his little brother was gone, leaving behind the fire and the remnants of Kris' expensive shoes. Shaking his head, he sighed and pulled his phone out of his pocket, debating for a few seconds before sending out two texts.

To Adi: "Hey, I'm really sorry about last night. I can explain. Please... can we meet up today?"

And to Alyssa: "Don't hate me. We need to talk."

Locking the device, he slid it back into his pocket. Making his way back into the house, he looked around the messy place. Without a word, he started to straighten up, picking up clothes and throwing away trash. Stacking dishes and wiping the counters. He never cleaned, not like this.

Daniela "Dean" De Angelo

Dean's fingers drummed nervously on the table as she waited for her friend's reactions to the news, that she just threw at them. She didn't know what she was excepting them to say, but maybe words of support. If she wanted to be yelled at and made to feel like even more of a fuck up, she would have told her older sister Jess the news first. The silence that fell on them felt like forever, but it was Ash who first broke it. Her response to the news was soft and asked if she needed a pregnancy test and who the father is. She did have one and it was now burning a hole into her pocket. The other part was a little more daunting to answer as Dean didn't know the answer herself. She didn't even think of who the father was to this unborn child. It had to be Mason's...it just had to be. There were other possibilities since he wasn't the only one she had been sleeping around with, but she didn't want to accept that.

Kris's response came soon afterward and it was a bit harsher than Ash's. Dean didn't know what she was excepting her friend to say as she always had a habit of making her opinions known even if they were bold and harsh.

"Well this wasn't supposed to happen, I did everything right I swear, "Dean said as it was true. After the birth of Ariana, Dean made sure to go right on birth control and use protection always.

Kris then went on to say that the diner is not the best place to do a pregnancy test, especially since this is her place of employment. She listened to her friend suggest going back to her place, but if they wanted privacy that was not the place to go. Kris had a million siblings always running around and causing chaos wherever they go. The only benefit of going would be the booze, but that was not an option anymore. If she really was pregnant it was going to be a long and hard 9 months trying to stay sober.

The other option would be to go back to her house since Jess was not home and her mother is well always in bed. Dean brought what she was thinking up to the group and they all decided that is what they should do. Before they left though Dean made sure to leave Winne a hefty tip since they didn't order anything.

_________________________________________________________________________

The walk back to her house was like the walk to the diner, short. Once there Dean wasted no time as she went to the bathroom and peed on the little stick that could possibly change her life forever. The act of this brought back many memories of when she was 14 in the school bathroom peeing on the stick. She felt the same as she did then, the nerves making her nauseous and her heart going a mile a minute. She prayed that this time she was going to get a different result than last time.

After washing her hands Dean came out of the bathroom and addressed her friends that were waiting in the living room.

"Well, we should know in about two minutes."

Just then after the words had left her mouth the front door opened the last person Dean had wanted to see walking through the door. It was her older sister Jess. She had most likely had gotten back from running errands and Dean quickly hid the test behind her back. Her eyes pleading with her friends to not say anything. For all she knew, it could be negative and Jess would get all riled up for nothing.

Addison | 21

Addison had finished up the eggs and was cooking the bacon whenever Carter walked out. Her eyes traveled from his still-damp hair to his...oh god, were those Ryan's shorts? Jesus. She didn't even have to guess that he already knew that. It seemed to be a way of showing a sort of dominance or something. She would be lying if she wasn't kinda hot. What the fuck was wrong with her?! She didn't have time to overthink it anymore before he was lingering over her to get a coffee mug. She bit down on her bottom lip for a second the moment sending chills down her spine. Even sober she couldn't deny the sexual tension between them. Yet it seemed like it was more than just sexual. Not that she wanted or even needed a commitment but there just felt like some sort of connection too.

"Oh, um, it's just bacon and eggs. Nothing fancy," she shrugged, breaking from the thoughts as she turned off the stove and moved the plates of food to the bar. She turned to face him, leaning on the counter and taking a sip from the coffee she'd poured herself while cooking. When he asked if she wanted to talk, she couldn't tell if he meant about the party or what they had done. Though he was probably just asking to be polite anyway. She couldn't imagine he really cared to know. "Talk about what?" she asked, acting as if she didn't care.

As if on cue though her phone pinged and it was a text from Ryan. She scoffed, rolling her eyes at his poor attempt to reach out to her. Not bothering to reply, she put her phone back on the counter and shook her head. "Nothing to talk about. Party was a bust and then we came back here and had sex. Sums it up," she said casually. It wasn't like there was much to it and she didn't really care to divulge in the details of Ryan's girlfriend bursting through the door as they made out on his bed. She pulled a piece of bacon from the plate and took a bite as her eyes met his. "You have plans for the day?" she questioned.
