My blood is likely 99% caffeine at this point. I love coffee. But admittedly i have Adhd and get inverse effects from caffeine, its soothing. Plus i make among the meanest of cups of joe

Put some thought into the type of Upgrades your character will be able to receive over the course of the story. Power ups will be a factor here but not all will be geared towards combat. The agency aims to turn you guys into the best line of defense against anonymous events and beings. they have many routes to achieving this goal.

Magic- Laylines, mystical artifacts, sorcerous training, and even contracts with demons or gods. There are numerous sources of magical power that can be learned, bestowed, or granted to players. Look for ones that work well with your ability set.

Tech- Landry has his own lab and basically a bottomless budget. His main goal is to make your lives easier. The R&d department of the X-grey site is under his command as well, so a few weeks or in some cases days are all thats required to Psudoscience up some custom gear. Whatever gadgets you want can be made in this way.

Training-Needless to say there is no shortage of access to training from a variety of teachers, sources, and fields. Wanna be a scientist they can get you the best education from experts the world over.

Source- The source obviously can grant power, but not so obviously seems to have some kind of connection to those who it grants abilities. This connection is ever present, and already at least one documented case of a secondary boost in a moment of need has been recorded.

Your characters may not be required to engage in combat, if you do not want that to be your role we can fit you into the investigation units, the r&d department, even public relations will be needed in the case of un-obscurable events. These four routes of development can help to fit you into any of these roles and categories a bit more easily. Ill be making a tab in the lore to go into more detail.

Already got ideas, though may go into the scarier aspects given i did base Delphine powers off two different alien horror races. Likely falls under training (Knowledge/Practice) and Source.

Could definitely think of some ways to buff up or develop Arthur and Hercules.
Their role would just be sort of weird since Arthur would fit into a more investigative type area but Hercules obviously fits way more into a combat role.

id imagine arthur learning magic could allow him to control his transformation, and he could add enchantments to herc just before the transformation.

But the investigation training would certainly benefit Arthur as well. He could go either way.

Mars definitely would fall under espionage with their heightened smell and infrared vision, maybe they could develop a camouflage ability (connected to chameleons being reptiles) later down the line?

They Also would need to be trained in combat, simply for self defense just in case and depending on what they specifically end up going into they would train further.

That sounds pretty epic. There is also a Future event which will reveal a type of magic that here snakelike blood will make her uniquely proficient in. Its a bit macabre, but nonetheless useful as hell and could definitely bolster an espionage character.

Was definitely leaning towards magic, to fit the whole olympian theme would just have to do some research to make sure it fits greek/roman motiff and yeah being able to stay as Hercules longer would certainly be something that would definitely be useful, I'll give it some more specific thought as things go on though.

Yeah it was a bit unclear how people first got powers, so kept it vague. The Whole Alien thing is more a ??? in there mind since its a dormant/old one.

I made Mars’s mutation more of a gradual change, instead of a, “BOOM! Now you are a reptile human.” Change. But a decent amount of the changes happened while they were asleep during the winter.

Definitely a good idea, reaching an equilibrium between them is definitely something I want to develop as the RP goes on and being able to communicate with each other would be vital to that.

Tbh His own knowledge paired with Landry’s could likely achieve both of those prerequisites. But even without upgrades that ship alone is a powerful enough asset to balance out.

Wesley is actually similar in the sense that he doesnt get upgrades he just gets more access in times of emergency. If things look like all is lost, they may even let him pilot the Ancient Knight.
