Shadow Naoto
Naoto Goes Nyoom
It's 2015 and almost everyone in the land of Harmonia has a soul mate. Whether they wanted it or not, everyone has a name tattooed onto their wrist from birth. This is their "fated" match. Many are inclined to investigate, curious, or even delighted at the prospect of having a fated match. While there are those who are unhappy, the soulmate system is popularly accepted and investigated within Harmonia.
----
Soulmate System
a. The soulmate system is honestly rather twisted. Your character has a name written on any location of their body, and the character who is named that is your character's soulmate.
b. There are drawbacks to the soulmate system. You can fall in love with someone who is not your soulmate. If there is no name written on you, you're an outcast. If you date someone who isn't your soulmate, you're isolated and shunned. Your soulmate can die before you ever get to meet them. Two people can have the same soulmate. However, your soulmate will always have your name on their wrist. You will not be ten years older or younger than your soulmate.
c. Living together with another partner is difficult when they're not your soulmate.
d. Large corporations endorse services for searching for soulmates.
-----
a. Soulmates have a sense of where the other is, your character will know when their soulmate comes into close quarters with his own. However, the farther one character goes from their soulmate, the dimmer that sense will get. This sense can be more keen and exact the more one concentrates, however, at most, one can sense their soulmate up to a mile away.
b. This is an extreme AU, all canons must have their pasts remade to fit modern-day standards. Powers not permitted.
c. Canon characters from anime/manga/video games allowed, as well as OCs.
d. OC x Canon, OC x OC, and Canon x Canon allowed.
