Depends on the location and if/when a breakout occurs.

But let’s say my peachy runs into a raptor, he’s gone ain’t he?

A normal pachy would probably stand a fighting change in all honesty. An ambush and it would practically die immediately. But head on the Pachy could break the raptors legs with ease. Of course the armored one would be the same way, except it'd have better chances of survival due to the plating.

The real question is: can my character die?

No played character will die unless you do something absolutely outrageous. Like try to fight a rex as a pachy, or a mosa as a rex. If you try that then it's pretty much instant death for you, besides that the worst you can obtain without wanting your character to die is a bad injury. Not a crippling one typically, but not a light scratch or bite.

Awesome to hear that! Depending on how many others want to play a raptor, I might make one more to keep us at a nice 3. Thinking the 3rd one is going to be a lazy hunter.
