Hey~ ( )
The Sila: They have superhuman speed, strength, and senses. They excel in this category. While many other breeds do have enhanced of these, the Sila have the most advanced, and the most enhanced of these. They have to drink human blood though, there is no chance of substitutes or animal blood. Without it they cannot function and slowly decay. They're immortal, and can have children, they can also convert humans to Sila-Vampires as well. Sunlight is a big weakness, and usually get severe sunburns if they stay in the sun too long, so they usually choose to either stay inside during the day, and sleep at night, or become nocturnal. Garlic is mildly irritating and holy objects do not effect them at all. They cannot enter a human household without permission and the cannot fly. The only way to turn a human is for them to die with Sila blood in their system. They cannot eat human food, or they will get sick. Their venom, in a human system, during and after a bite, is like a powerful drug.[Closed for the moment. We have way too many xD ]
The Manaska: They are the best at mental capabilities. They usually have telepathy, empathy and telekinesis. They do not drink blood. Not because they choose not to, but because they do not have to. Because of their mental strengths, they rely on something 'mental' as well. They feed off soul energy. Small bits here and there. From humans, animals, plants and sometimes vampires, though it depends on whether they're technically dead or not. They do not have to kill to receive this soul energy and the creature they are feeding from doesn't even have to know about it.They can go out in the sun without any ill effects, garlic and Holy Objects do not effect them. They can enter the houses of humans without permission and they cannot fly. But they are not immortal. Neither do they heal super fast. The only way they are like other vampires is their need to feed, and the fact that they are not human. They do not enjoy human food, and it offers them no nutrients, but they will not get sick from it.
The Amara: This breed are the most like the common myth. They are immortal, drink blood and can fly. They cannot enter a human household without permission and holy objects burn. They explode into a ball of fire in the sun, though they are not effected by garlic. They can feed on animal blood, or human blood though it depends on preference. They cannot have children though, and can only turn humans by the conventional method. (Human must have vampire blood in their system when they die.) Stakes are the only thing that can kill them though. They are technically dead, and they cannot eat human food. It'll make them sick. Sam as the Sila, their venom is like a powerful drug.
The Relesa: The Relesa, while powerful, are not immortal. They are the ones who each have control of an element. Ice, Water, Earth, Wind, Fire, and Metal are included. Each can only control one though. They can also feed from either animal blood or human blood, depending on their preference. They cannot fly, and besides their need to drink blood, their fangs and their ability to control an element, they are otherwise much like humans. They can have children and they age. Garlic does not bother them, and neither does holy objects. They can enter the house of a human without permission and while the sun is mildly irritating, it does not bother them that much. Many choose to stay nocturnal though, for this reason. They need sleep and human food offers them no nutrients, but some do choose to eat it. Also like the Sila and Amara, their venom is like a drug.
The Skliros: This breed, are technically a side breed. They are products of the Relesa. If a Relesa ever chooses to kill a human when feeding, they become a Skliros. Skliros are cruel and evil and cold. They become immortal and will die on contact with any sunlight. They lose connection with their element, but become as fast and as powerful as a Sila. They have no compassion for life whatsoever. A vampire can also become a Skliros if a Relesa, Sila or Amara feed off another vampire, of any breed. Skliros are out of control and have no compassion for the life of any creature. They will kill humans and/or vampires without a second thought. Holy Objects can kill them and so can stakes. They cannot enter human households without permission, they're eyes are permanently red. Skliros are not allowed on school grounds, and are often hunted by students.
The Dhampyres: Half vampire, half humans, they are often protectors of vampires. They cannot be fed upon, because of their half vampire lineage. If a vampire dares feeding on them, they risk becoming a Skliros. They often have more endurance, more agility and more flexibility than humans, which is why they are such great bodyguards. If one of their parents were a Relesa, they do not possess they ability to control an element, and if their parent was a Sila, they do not possess superhuman abilities, and so forth, because of their human half. The sun does not bother them, neither does any other vampire weaknesses. They can feed off both human food and blood, though they usually prefer human food.
The Tivra: The Tivra are another side breed. They are technically Relesa, but more powerful. This rare side breed can control all elements. While this may make them more powerful, it also makes them more vulnerable. If they use too much power at once, it weakens them. It may lead to overloads which can eventually kill Tivras. Usually the first sign is a nosebleed. [This category is closed. I will be the one choosing who may be a Tivra.]
The Seboni- The Seboni are a strange breed, and are technically divided into two:
The Senohi- The Senohi are somewhat human, or, at least, they do not have any vampire-like qualities. They eat human food, and have no vampiric weaknesses. (Such as the sun, Holy Objects, garlic etc.) Yet, why are they called the Senohi instead of just regular old humans? It is because they are not. They have the gift (though some believe it a curse) of prophecy. Their gift can come in dreams, visions when they touch someone, or maybe just visions in general. Their sight can be focused on many things as well. Senohies, in general, are sometimes brought in as Blood Slaves.
The Matla- The Matla, are basically half vampire, half Senohi. They get their own half breed because by gaining this vampire heritage, their abilities are tweaked, along with the fact they gain the vampire qualities of their other half. Unlike other half-breeds, such as Amara and Manaska mixes, they do not just receive the genes of one parent, nor do they get a split like Dhampyres. They get an equal amount of both. Matla's are also a rare species, for many do not make it past birth.
[if you would like to be a Seboni - either side breed - please drop me a comment. These require more explanation than I can put up here, and there is a limited supply of both]
The Blood Slaves: Usually human, though there is the occasional banshee, Senohi or witch. They can be all genders, races and sizes, though the age range is between 16 and 20, no younger or older. They are normally forced to wear a collar so they are easily identifiable and are assigned to specific vampires. Some are at the school by choice, some are not. They are normally assigned to Sila, since they need fresh blood the most, but Amara and Relesa do request them as well.
