I just had a question from reading the second lore, if you're not a Kho you can't use gapstones right?

Everyone can use and make Gapstones. For the most part, they're required to cast most magic. The Kho were the ones that perfected the system, and as a result, most of the knowledge about them was lost when their civilization fell. What those in the current world use are far more crude than what the Kho were able to make.

If you want them to, they can be! There are plenty of openings for various cultural regions. I wanted to keep locations a little vague to start, so that people could make some up if they wanted to.
