(RP Interest Check: The Shadows of Ombreville (Interest Check))

Rules and Guidelines:

- This RP focuses mainly on high school students, so a character must be aged appropriately. If you really want to RP as someone older or younger than a high school student, please PM me, but only if you are positive that you don’t want to play someone around their teenage years.

- There will be NPCs for people to use to their will, just no using other people’s characters without their permission, as that is a big rule to me

- Standard RPN rules apply

- Keep this PG-13 or lower, no heavy material or situations allowed

- No killing anyone else’s characters without permission

- You can choose to have magic powers or not, but just no going overboard with magic abilities, and no Godmodding whatsoever!

- Again, No Godmodding, you aren’t a god here

- I control most teachers and the mayor of the town, any other none user characters (characters with a character sheet made by a member of this website) can be used as NPCs

- This RP will start out slow but then become faster over time, please be willing to adjust to that

- Just for a personal preference, please don’t disappear on this RP for a long time without telling me what is going on in your life to make you unable to post. If you leave without saying anything for a long time, then I feel like you might not be coming back and so your characters will be erased due to that. I understand life can get crazy in an instant, but at least log in once and tell me you will be back before you disappear, if you have to. This is my only personal rule.

- Please no weapons of any sorts, only magic, that way we don’t run into the classic problems of teens having guns at school

- Romance and Swearing are allowed, but keep it Family friendly

- I think I covered everything, but just in case, if you have to ask yourself if something would be allowed or not, either PM me about it, or just don’t do it

Here’s the thing, the people of the RP are all starting out as humans, and humans don’t have long ears and tails like your picture. So, if you are going to just not use those parts of the picture, then accepted, but you have to be a normal looking human to start out with, later on you can transform into your other form, but your human form must look like a regular human, without long animal ears and a tail. (Though this isn’t to say use real human figures, anime figures are more useful here, it’s just I want them to look like regular humans is all)

Good that you like that idea, you are accepted then.

Also, no high schooler with powers starts out with being in control of their abilities, but you can have slight hiccups to where your power comes out, you just won’t know it and you will pass it off as not something that is important or real. So, let’s say it becomes night time in the beginning of this RP, then you can turn into your animal form, your character just won’t have complete control over their ability and then when they change back, won’t exactly remember what they did. Bio: The oldest of three children, he is the mayor’s oldest child. He grew up living a pretty normal and happy life, but as he got older, he became more of a lone wolf, and a bad boy. Nowadays, he doesn’t agree with his father and the way he does things, and believes the whole town is being blown out of proportions with its unique laws.

Bio: The mayor’s middle child, and the one who is torn between what his father believes and what his older brother believes. He tries to live a normal life, but he is the one who always deals with everyone else’s problems and viewpoints. He is unsure if he believes that something really is going on within the town or if he believes that nothing is actually happening and the whole situation is just a big misunderstanding. But whatever he believes, he knows that people look at his family with different viewpoints, and he is always having to deal with some people turning against his family for his farher’s decisions. However, he tries to focus on what is happening at the current moment and he always tries to protect his younger sister from having to deal with all of this. His only wish to live a normal life in a normal town.

Bio:

As a child he Aaron had experiments conducted on him to alter his DNA in a facility located up North in the mountains. After a riot at the facility Aaron managed to escape but passed out due to the extreme cold. This gave him amnesia and without a clear path to follow he made his way South to Ombreville where he settled down and started his life as a high-school student. He has no recollection of his powers nor his time at the facility. (Also has a Welsh accent)

School Grade: 11th grade

Magic Powers / Abilities:

Chimerism

Is able to shape shift between tiger and human forms. This grants him increased strength (Up to 40 tonnes), speed, agility, reflexes and senses. Has slightly heightened healing factor but is a long shot from being wolverine. He can be killed by bullets, knives, poison, etc. Has retractable claws on both hands and feet, can cut through almost anything. Has a sixth sense similar to spider-mans but is reliant oh his hearing and sight (If these aren't working, neither is his 'tiger-sense')

Weaknesses/Limits:
-unable to lift more than 40 tonnes.
-can run a lot faster than the average human but he isn’t going to outrun a bullet anytime soon.
- Heightened hearing, sight, smell can easily be overloaded.
-overloaded senses disabled his ‘Tiger-sense’
-retractable claws can be removed with enough force and will not grow back.
-healing factor has its limits (he can heal a bullet wound in a week so long as it hasn’t hit anything major)
- Has constant nightmares.
- Fear of lightening/electricity
- Fear of doctors

Has no family, he is an orphan who lives in a small shack on the endge of town by himself.

Just promise me that with his powers, you won’t go overboard, as too much strength and too many abilities can easily go into a level close to overpowered and that is something I’m trying to avoid. Also, you have to actually be wearing shirts, shoes, pants, etc. at school, there is a slight dress code there. So I’m just going to have everyone pretend that your character actually has his shirt fully on and not opened up. (I just want everyone to act like they are at a real high school, since their characters are, is all. So the dress code is to be covered fully at the appropriate areas, as this rule applies to everyone, both girls and guys)

Bio: The youngest of three children, and the last child of the mayor. She is the shy, but smart one of her family. Growing up, her older brothers would watch after her and her well being, but as time went by Jaydin was the one who tried to protect her the most. She tries to live a normal life, despite the town she lives in, and tries to do as she is told by her family, for she knows they know what is best for her with everything that has happened. She actually does believe in something happening behind the scenes in the town, and she believes that the people who go missing are actually missing and didn’t just leave forever. She just hopes that the town can be restored and turned back into a normal place to live in.

The Actual RP: The Shadows of Ombreville (The Actual RP)

Name: Yuri Nakano

Gender: Female

Age:16

Appearance: Short and cute, around 4'10" (150 cm) tall. Has medium length, pink-dyed hair kept in two short twin-tails. Cyan blue eyes.Skinny and pale skinned. Often wears skirts and T-shirts, favorite being a shirt with a chibi cat drawing, hanging on a branch with the quote "Hang in there!". Also wears thigh high stockings, usually white to compliment her darker skirt.

Bio: Yuri is a girl who is easily flustered and quick to temper, but never harms nor does anything to inflict harm. She is pacifistic by nature and wouldn't dare hit another person, animal, or thing. Yuri is fearless, wanting to discover more about her town and classmates, no matter how dangerous or cryptic, which is quite detrimental to her own nature. She is the middle of three siblings and the only one in high school, her younger sister being but a fourth grader. Yuri believes that there is nothing to be scared of, but is cautious anyways.

School Grade: 11th grade

Magic Powers / Abilities: Blinking: Yuri has the ability to teleport to a distance rapidly. A reactionary blink results in a short distance (from 6 inches to 3 feet), but a concentrated blink can lead her into another room altogether. One stipulation is that Yuri can only blink where she is looking, meaning she cannot blink backwards due to humans only having a ~180 degree scope (counting peripherals and basic eye and head movements). Because of her age and lack of any real training, she tires quickly after blinking many times (anywhere from 25-50 blinks in the span of an hour or two).
