"Hm...Challenge accepted. I know just how to work in some meat so you'll love it...or you know jsut have it be desert. Yeah! Thats what I'll do. I'll make you the greatest meal you've ever had! You'll be so stuffed you can't even get off the ground and you'll be harmless! I'll throw a giant end of summer feast for everyone!"

"You're going to need quite a lot of food before I'll be full. I could raid the Canterlot Castle stores and probably still be hungry." He smirked, his sharp teeth showing slightly. He would never actually do that. Luna would kick his ass, turn him into a furry coat.

Nightfall lid her eyes and smirked
"Oh don't worry about that. If theres one thing I know, it's cats...but if there are like...3 or 4 of them, one of them is BOUND to be where to get a ton of food!"

Avedon Avedon
He stared at her. "I mean, if Luna is your godmother I'm fairly sure you could just ask her for something. Why follow some cats around and let them lead you towards it?"

"I meant three or four things I know!"
She chuckles and used her whole hoof to boop his nose
"Silly dog. I can get some fresh venison from the woods and some wild boars. I've got a satyr nature-spirit out there who owes me a favor..."

After signing his release, Cassian made his way out of the dungeon. His belongings were returned and still in good condition, thankfully. Once he put on his coat, the young dragon made his way out and into the streets of what appeared to be an underground city fort. There was no longer any need for him to put his hood up now that the public knows he's a Dragon. He received several uneasy glances, yet he paid no mind and kept walking. The first thing to do right now is to find out where he is and how to get to the water fall from here.

It was a beautiful day outside; the birds are chirping, flowers blooming, its almost as if there was nothing wrong in the world. There's always something wrong with the world. Gunnolf knew that very well, indeed, but that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy these relaxing times. It was going to be the only times he was going to get to relax for a while, once the griffons decide to attack Canterlot.

So, he spent this day in particular laying by the pond near the castle. It was cool and a bit secluded of an area, away from the annoyances of the castle. Annoyances as in the noise; it was difficult for him to get away from it, being that his ears are so large. He heard many times more than what everybody else would, from farther away, and louder. That sometimes made it a bit difficult for him to sleep. He is a nocturnal animal, after all, and a wolf without a den.

He peered into his reflection in the water, tilting his head to the side, pink eyes staring right back at him. Tentatively, he reached in and splashed the water. That caused a huge wave and a ripple from the accidental force, displacing much of the lake and sending sprinkles back up into his face. He reared back quickly in surprise, shaking his head and sneezing. Goofy Gunnolf strikes again!

The grass beside Gunnolf rose up and formed into the shape of a young alicorn filly. After a few seconds the grass receded and in its wake was Silvanus, looking around stunned. "... Did I do a teleport??" She asked to nopony in particular. Only then did she see Gunnolf there, somehow missing the giant freaking wolf when she appeared, but noticing him now. "Oh hey Gunny!" She chirped happily, throwing her forelegs around a tiny portion of his leg.

Gunnolf turned to his left at her, still blinking his eyes and recovering from his sneeze. "Er, yes... I believe you did." He replied, shaking his head. He didn't actually see what had happened, only just that she was suddenly there and if she wasn't immediately around he would have smelled her from a mile away. That helped. "How are you, Silvanus?"

Dumbledoof Dumbledoof
"I'm okay!" Silvanus said happily, taking a seat next to Gunnolf and looking yuckily at the water. "I was lookin' at some magic! This big book told me how to teleport, but it didn't sit right with me so I tried a different route! I asked the grass if it could take me somewhere, so it did!" She said with a massive grin, before motioning out to the water in front of them. "Why're ya staring at the pond? Water is awful."

Dreamweaver Dreamweaver
He nodded quietly. He wasn't going to question how she could ask the grass to take her somewhere. Grass was grass, it didn't need to be sentient, too. Like those those swords. Grass doesn't think. Grass is grass. "Unfortunately for you, I need water to survive. I also need land. Plants and animals and stuff..." He said. "Water is good. Land is good. You and your sister really should figure out how to get along better."

Dumbledoof Dumbledoof
Silvanus scoffed at Gunnolf's words and vigorously shook her head. "You maybe need water to survive because you're a mortal, but it's still stupid. Water makes me feel sick." She kicked a nearby pebble into the pond and just sighed. "I've been lookin' at other magic too. Woona has a bunch of bad books but Celly gave me some cool ones. I can make trees come to life and stuff..."

Dreamweaver Dreamweaver
Gunnolf rolled his eyes. Mortal. It's so belittling being called that by a filly barely even a year old. "What makes it stupid? Because you don't like it?" He shook his head. "The world didn't need to be governed before. It did that on its own; found ways. Made ways." He shook his head. "I know nothing of the books that Luna has. I'm just the... pet. Like you said, mortal."

Dumbledoof Dumbledoof
"I said I don't like it cus it makes me feel sick. I get wet then I feel woozy..." She shrugs her shoulders and shakes her head again. "Her books are all about cursing ponies and raising undead and stuff. I dunno, I don't really look at those books. They scare me and feel icky..." She paused again before looking up at Gunnolf with a smile. "You think you are mommy's pet? That's weird..."

"That's why you make yourself like a rock, not dirt. Dirt turns into mud. A rock will remain strong when it gets wet. It's resistant." He muttered, looking back down at the water. "Am I supposed to believe I am anything else? Sentient and intelligent or not, I have a collar around my neck with a dog tag. It's just the way it is, I suppose." He glanced at her. "I won't question Luna's teachings. Be careful with that kind of magic, Silvanus... it's dangerous."

It nearly took the entire day, but Cassian finally made his way to Canterlot Falls. He's seen quite a few water falls back home. And several more on his journey. And every time, he could just lose himself at the sight of the falling rapids. Especially when it would gleam in the sunlight or glow in moonlight. Unfortunayly, he had no time to watch the scenery. There was an important mission that lies beyond the crystal clear veil of the falls.

He made his way behind the falls through a path ledge that rested between the pond and the mountain, which could have possible been used in the past. Clean moisture and rich minerals from the mountain rocks envelops his nose once he found the doorway within the cavern of the falls. Just like before, it had runes of ancient equestrian with a few hints of Dragon tongue in some small around of the Doorway's surface. "This is it...", the young dragon whispered to himself before the ring he wore on around his neck glows it's bright green light once again. It made a neon teal flash that nearly blurred, Cassian's vision. Wrenching back for a moment, the door responds. The runes glow as the vine carvings in the door untangle along with a few turning mechanisms unhinging themselves. The massive doorway opens, allowing entry for the Dragon.

"Wow. Okay, here we go...", he says slightly nervously to himself.

Ever since discovering the doorway in her own backyard, Princess Luna had been very adamant about keeping a close guard on it. There were several trapped spells that she had put on the path leading into the cave and towards the tree, with the spells getting more dangerous the deeper you went. The very first of these traps was a silent alarm that would make Princess Luna aware of any trespassers. The alarm was harmless and only could be heard by Luna, Celestia, Salacia and Silvanus. The divine family were the first and most effective line of defense for the tree.

The second line of defense came in the form of a warning spell. Upon attempting to open the second door, Princess Luna's voice would speak out in a prerecorded message warning those who were entering not to delve any deeper, lest their frozen and battered corpses end up on Jupiter.

Then last line of defense was a mass teleportation spell. To Jupiter.

Luckily Cassian had only triggered the silent alarm!

A cloud of darkness gathered in front of Cassian and formed into the shape of a mare, before departing and leaving Princess Luna standing there. She didn't say anything; opting instead to simply raise an eyebrow at Cassian questioningly.

Completly unaware of the alarm he triggered the moment the young dragon stepped in, Cassian took his surroundings of the design of the corridors. They were very similar to the old study hall he found under the ruins of the Castle of the Two Sisters. Suddenly, the light from the ring on his neck pulsate as glowing vines carved into the wall surface glowed, lighting the way down the corridors.

Right as he was about to follow where the glowing vines were guiding him, a cloud of dark smoke appear out of no where. The young dragon was taken by surprise. He steps back trying to take in his bearings on what's going on. Something was strangely familiar about his magical cloud formation, considering how immense the energy was. Once the could took form, everything became clear.

Now standing before him was the Princess of the Night. And she did not look happy.

"Whoa...", was all he could say at the moment as his reptilian eyes stare back at her.

"I'm not a rock, imma pony. Just like you ain't a rock, you're a pupper." She looks Gunnolf over once and then nods. "A big pupper, but a pupper nonetheless. And that collar just means you're one of us! It's, like... a symbol of status!" she grins from ear to ear at him.

Princess Luna was surprised to find him there, but didn't let that surprise show. She had a poker face earned from 7,000 years of life. She simply kept her eyebrow raised, stared at him unblinkingly for several seconds, and then spoke. "... Cassian." She spoke quietly, but firmly. "What are you doing, disturbing these ancient ruins? They are protected."

Dreamweaver Dreamweaver
He raised an eyebrow. "And do other ponies get sick when a bit of water splashes on them? I think you're a bit more than just a 'pony.'" He said. He still didn't understand why they called him a 'pupper,' what even was one of those? "I don't really like wearing it. It chafes really bad."

Dumbledoof Dumbledoof
"It's not just a little water!" Silvanus protested loudly, jabbing her hoof at Gunnolf's leg which was laying beside her. "It's like... a heavy rain makes me feel bad. I won't get sick from a few splashes, it just makes me feel uncomfortable. Although yesterday I fell into a cauldron and didn't get a hurty burn..."

Dreamweaver Dreamweaver
He rolled his eyes. "You should be a bit more specific then. I don't think anypony really wants to be out in the rain anyway... unless they really like it or something. Your sister probably does." He glanced down at her at the jab. It didn't hurt, but it was noticeable. "How did you manage to fall into a cauldron?"

Dumbledoof Dumbledoof
"I climbed onto the table while mommy was playing with the cauldron and then leaned over to look and then fell in!" She chirped happily. "But it didn't hurt. Maybe I am like... a fire pony, too? Like mommy! Mommy is a fire pony."

Gunnolf raised an eyebrow at her and then just shook his head slightly, laying his head down on his paws. "You alicorns are strange." He muttered.

Dumbledoof Dumbledoof
"Says the giant talking wolfy..." Silvanus says with a sigh on her lips. She hopped up onto her hooves and then began to scale Mt. Gunnolf, eventually coming to rest on top of his head with between his ears. It was a pretty good seat for somepony her size!
