“Really...is that so...?” WhyishebluewhyishebluewhyisheBLUE!?!? Josuke still hadn’t quite recovered from the shock and appeared to be visibly pale. Every one of the (admittedly very few) brain cells in his brain were telling him that blue people shouldn’t be a thing. He supposed that he’d just have to get used to the sight of multicolored people who look very much like frozen corpses. He was the one who decided to attend a school with people from a bunch of other universes. What’d the kid say he way anyways...a first gaint? What was there some other second gaint that he didn’t know of?

Finally, Josuke took in a final breath and recollected his thoughts. Despite how honestly scary the blue skinned red eyed kid was he truthfully didn’t seem to mean to scare him, which did make Josuke rather guilty for his reaction. The poor thing even looked about ready to burst into tears. Letting out a strained sigh, Josuke attempted the mend the situation. “You’re name’s Jade? Sorta like the gem huh? Though...aren’t those green?” He quickly regretted what’d fallen from his mouth as the kid could easily take that as insulting. “N-not that it’s a bad thing or anything!” Oh dear god, Josuke was in desperate need of some sort of conversational getaway.

Thankfully, perhaps someone had taken pity on the pompadoured buffoon as that getaway arrived in a form of a distraction from the current conversation. From one of the cafeteria’s windows he noticed a vehicle drive up, and one of those expensive kinds too. Perhaps another student had arrived? Getting the attention of everyone there, Josuke pointed at the window. “Hey look, I think someone else’s shown up. I wonder who they’ll gonna be?” So far the boy’s met an admittedly nice white haired girl, a talking rabbit, a smurf, and a (from his assumption) normal looking kid. From what he’d seen in the span of a few hours, there was no way of guessing who the person behind those car doors was going to be, for better or worse.

Peter held the little bunny in his arms. “Oh, hey, it’s okay.” Just then, Josuke said something that made Jade start crying and fly away in the form of a raven. “Hey, wait-“ But the boy was already gone. I wonder what Josuke said to him, Peter thought, side-eyeing the other boy. His attention was then drawn to a car pulling into the driveway; a rather pretty girl stepped out of it. “I wonder who she is,” he said out loud, and then remembered he hadn’t told his new friend about his abilities. “Oh, right. So I can do this” — he shot a line of web out toward the ceiling and jumped up onto it — “and I have the proportionate physical capabilities of a spider. You may know me as Spider-Man.” He shrugged.

I wonder why Nat didn’t like greeting the new students, Robin thought as he walked to check in the new arrival. Maybe she just had enough of kids for the day. He greeted the new girl with a friendly smile. “Hello. Name and age, please?”

It appeared that Josuke’s rather dubious attempt of not making Jade cry was in vain as like a bomb going off, the giant burst into tears before turning into a crow. “Huh.” The boy dumbly remarked as the corvid flew out a window and landed on a tree outside. He’d really have to apologize to the guy later for overreacting to his unique skin tone and eye color. Before he could do that though, something was up with Rowan. Ignoring that apparently he could also shape shift, the rabbit seemed to be aggravated by something. Hoping that his healing wasn’t the reason for Rowan’s sudden outburst, Josuke yelped, “Crap I didn’t mess up did I?”. Strangely enough, as he examined the boy’s leg there didn’t seem to be anything wrong with it in the slightest. But if it wasn’t Josuke’s doing, then what was causing Rowan to react like this? It couldn’t have been seeing that girl caused the reaction....right? Well, once Rowan hissed at the lady exiting her car that all but confirmed it. But why? From what Josuke knew there was a very unlikely chance that Rowan and the girl had any sort of past with each other though he supposed there was always the chance. Maybe they’re exes or something? Ignoring the implications of a human girl dating an anthropomorphic rabbit, Josuke noticed a ‘thwip thwip’ sound and suddenly Peter was on the ceiling! “Holy shit!” The teenager couldn’t help but exclaim at the sight. Then Peter mentioned something about an alter ego called Spider-Man and things finally clicked for the boy. “You’re like an actual superhero aren’t you! Oh my god that’s so kewl!”

Peter flushed slightly the color of his rabbit companion as Josuke exclaimed at the revealing of his secret identity -- he wasn't used to anyone thinking of him as cool except for maybe Ned, and usually he was the one in admiration, as when he was anywhere in the vicinity of Tony Stark. "Well, yeah, i guess. Thanks." For once he felt slightly proud of his other persona. Lowering himself back onto the ground, he looked down at Rowan, who had begun to hiss at the new girl talking to one of the teachers; Mr Stark had said he was some famous marksman. "What's wrong, bunny? You don't like her?" Just then, the raven that was Jade landed on his shoulder. "Oh. Hi. I hope we didn't offend you," he told the bird.

“Hmm...maybe that’s her super power?..giving animals headaches....?” Of course Josuke knew that it was very, very, very, unlikely that someone could even have that dumb of a superpower but there weren’t exactly a whole lot of possible explanations. Why would some random girl cause such an aggressive reaction from a rabbit of all things. Those guys were like the wet blankets of the animal kingdom, and to make one act like this? Josuke didn’t know. One thing he did know was that at this point it’d just be easier to straight up ask this mysterious girl rather than theorizing. Who knows? She might even be a nice gal besides the whole freaking out Rowan thing. Concluding that to be the best course of action, Josuke looked at the others and offered “I can go talk to her and ask what her whole deal is.” Before anyone could even reply Josuke was already to meet the individual in question.

After some walking the boy finally found her. The girl was kinda pretty, if a bit plain. Under normal circumstances Josuke probably wouldn’t have even been able to pick her out from a crowd. Really her most defining characteristic in his opinion was her hair. He’d need to ask what products and creams she uses because holy cow it was awesome. Not however wasn’t exactly the time to compare hair routines as he’d came here with a purpose in mind. Getting the girl’s attention with a simple “Hey there!” Josuke introduced himself into the conversation she and the staff member were having. Starting with the obvious, Josuke commented, “You’re a new student here too right?” Before following up with a friendly offer to shake his hand and an introduction. “My name’s Higashikata Josuke and I’m new here too!” Really, Josuke had to admit he wasn’t meeting her just for the goal of figuring out what Rowan’s whole deal was. He honestly thought she might make for a good friend....also he still really wanted to figure what she used in her hair but that’s beside the point. Finally Josuke realized that he’d rather rudely interrupted what ever the girl and the other guy were talking about. He’d quickly apologize with, “Oh, I didn’t mean to intrude on you guys!”

Josuke watched as the man left the two of them to talk before finally turning back to the girl. “You said your name was Lily right? Oh, You must be my roommate then!”. It was nice that he’d finally found out who he going to be roomed up with though the boy couldn’t help but wonder about whatever had happened to the other girl he’d mistakenly assumed to the Lily. Josuke did sort of forget about her for a bit which did make him feel a tad bit guilty. Sometime later he really should figure out wherever the girl had gone and apologize for ditching her. She may not have been his roommate, but she had seemed like a pretty cool gal overall. Maybe he could even introduce her to Lily!

For now though, Josuke still had to figure out if his roommate was truly the source of Rowan’s discomfort. So, as casually as he could, Josuke brought up the topic of powers. “If you don’t mind me asking...what’s your ability? Mine is that I can fix anything that’s broken.” Josuke conveniently didn’t mention any of the specifics of his power, especially the whole ‘punching ghost’. In fact, the boy was pretty sure he hadn’t even told Peter and Rowan about his Stand. It’d really be a hassle trying to explain that he wasn’t crazy and there was in fact an invisible and untouchable pink buff man that could also punch the crap out of things. Plus, back in his own universe, revealing your stand to someone could mean losing any sort of leg up you had in a battle along with any sort of control you had over the situation. For now, the boy supposed he could simply cross that bridge when they got there, he’d tell them about his power when he had no other choice but to. Hopefully Lily wouldn’t be as vague as he was being about his own abilities and wouldn’t mind explaining what she could do.

While waiting for a response from Lily, Josuke noticed that the white haired girl from before was meandering through the halls. He’d wave at her and flash a friendly smile, glad that he finally got to see her again. If she wanted to, Josuke really wouldn’t mind if she wanted to hop on into the conversation he was having with Lily. Maybe he could finally find out what her name was too! But that was really up to the girl. He really wouldn’t mind if she had other stuff to take care of first. As he waited for a response from either Lily or the white haired girl, Josuke ran his hands through his hair, making a ‘Tch Tch’ noise. His pompadour had been steadily falling apart even since he’d sprinted here, hopefully when he got to his dorm he’d be able to finally address it and redo his hair. He couldn’t be walking around with a half done hairstyle!

Leaving Rowan on the table, Peter walked towards Josuke and his new friend but halted at the appearance of another girl, who introduced herself as Dax. “Nice to meet you. I’m Peter.” He held out a hand for her to shake. Then he looked sideways at the one Josuke was talking with. “Um, would you happen to have anything that would disturb a bunny?” he asked with a smile.
