Princess Caroline of Merida hated the title "Princess", and refused to be referred to as such. "Caroline" suited her just fine, and at this moment, she was reminding one of king's servants this as they strolled the hallway together, the servant obviously timid due to the lack of orders she was being given.
"Also, my room doesn't need to be cleaned. I'm capable of that," Caroline said, shuffling her feet along the rugged floor. "Thank you for offering."
The servant nervously nodded.
"Where's my father?"
"He's in the throne room, I believe," the maid quickly replied, "He fell asleep in his throne again last night, so he's more than likely still there:"
Caroline nodded. The king spent a strong majority of the time at his throne, unconscious or otherwise.
Very abruptly, the princess and the servant began to hear loud noises of unrest coming from the direction of the front of the castle. The walls weren't the most reliable, and any noise could be heard if you wanted to badly enough.
Arc was taking care of some guards who spotted him trying to sneak into the castle. He picked up the guards that he knocked out and placed them in the bushes.
"Wouldn't mind your own business, now could you. You just had to stop and question who I was." he said to himself.
After he placed the unconscious guards in the bush, Arc made his way inside the castle through a open window. He looked around to see if anyone was around and jumped in. Arc lifted his hood over his head and went to find his target. "Now, where are you?" He said.
Caroline was quiet for a moment, sending the maid away with the wave of a hand as she began to comb through the hallways on her own, peering cautiously around corners.
As she neared a row of windows that was just around another corner, she saw from the very corner of her eye, a hooded figure. With great timidness, she turned on her heel and quietly crept towards the throne room.
Arc looked down the hallway and started walking down. He walked until he got to the end. Arc went to the wall and peeked out of the corner. "I don't see anyone." He said to himself.
He got out of cover and went down the hall. There were several doors that could lead to anything. "This is gonna take a while. Better speed this up." Arc kneeled down and raised his hand. A small turquoise color aura came out of his hand. He laid his hand to the ground, closed his eyes, and took a deep breath.
The aura went in the ground and Arc opened his eyes. The spell he used made it to see life forms through walls. He can't tell who it is, but he knows that there's someone near by.
Arc looked around and saw figures through the walls. Most of the figures around him were cleaning or eating, but one was standing still and turning it's head back and forth. "Who's this?" He thought to himself.
Arc slowly went towards a door that is near to the suspicious figure. He held his hand open and readied a spell in his hands that would knock someone out for a while. He got to the door and opened it.
