Fantasy The Return of Corruption

Ari started his attack, but the fire hit a shield

The end of the corridor could be seen. "The double length trap must've been canceled by that soul pit. We still need to step carefully though, because there's highly likely another one."

"Allow me to interject," Ari said. It was about time to leave this corridor. "I have a spell called Wind Walk. It can take us all to the end of this corridor by letting us all float over the ground...........the reason I didn't bring this up before because there's a lot of us plus Sakaga and we had that Double Length Trap. We're at a distance now where it will work."

"Do that Ari, we can get through quickly."

Sandro sighed. "I can also cast fire shield. Or control fire. Or wall of force. Let me handle this save your strength. " he muttered a spell and a pathway through the fire was made.

"Khan believes this type of work to be below him. This isn't one of Alreos's traps, or it wouldn't have been deflected that easily. This trap is the work of one of Khan's incompetent workers, which is why it took so long to charge."

"We're still on a trapped floor, so we still need it." Ari summoned another rose, with his blue rose disappearing. This was the basic red rose, which doubled his wind power

The wind under his feet expanded under the feet of everyone and they all floated. With Sandro making a path through and Raziel blocking its affects, and now Ari's wind keeping them from touching another trap, the way out was clear

"Too easy! I thought you said this would be hard. " Then he laughed putting the pipe back. "How's everyone doing"

"Wait, wouldn't Alreos have thought about people who could fly? There my be a few triggers that are strung up for people like us to set off," Ceralder said, Flauren out and blazing.

James had hitchhiked across the stones on Raziel. He knew the pits of Tartarus well, and didn't want to see them again. He was now in the halls with them, still hitchhiking on Raziel.

"You have an eye for strategy." Ethan started. He kept floating on for a minute before continuing. "We had to have passed them already. Those had to have been placed in the beginning. Otherwise they'd be triggered by the flames or the big metal ball."

"Flying traps are complicated. Suspending it in the air, making it invisible,
and keeping it from being triggered by breezes of wind, small birds, and other traps made it take far too much magic and untimely deaths due to misfires to place them in the entire corridor."

They were nearing the end.

"Guys let me enchant us all with shields. They break when they get hit but they will protect against the first hit"

They all made it to the end of the corridor and the spell ended

They were in the main room now. Up the stairs lay the throne room

Ethan stood in the room. His armor and weapons lay in the middle of the room. It was ported out automatically when they all left. "So we're here now, and Khan awaits. There's absolutely no life in this room. Khan must be cocky."

Raziel Cedliethal

The Hellreaver materialized in his hand... he set it on the most dangerous of all settings. The Spirit Reaver. It can cut a person's soul into pieces, so it should be extremely effective even with Khan. Raziel took a deep breath and said "Feels like I'm fighting my father again. Except for this time he has prepared a soul stew for himself." with a chuckle. He looked at the others with the 'I'm ready to go inside.' face.

@RedTeam Grif

"So long as Khan sits on that throne no one is safe. There is so much rebuilding I have to do for myself. I have to find Katherine, I have to rebuild my relationship with my own daughter from square one. But I can't do any of that until Khan is killed. I'm ready."

@RedTeam Grif @FireMaiden

Ceralder drew the demonic hammer, holding it in his other hand. He gripped both Flauren and the hammer. Feeling their weight, he let out a long, deep breath. "Let's do this,"

((Okay! I was just making sure you were getting notifications.))

Ari looked out and drew his sword. "Szelanya!"

She appeared in a flurry of roses. She was a higher level god than Alreos and Amos combined, so she could move in and out of the castle at will. "Is there something you need Waesmor?"

Ari threw the sword at her feet. "I can't use a sword! Give me something else."

"I don't have much else."

"Well what do you have?"

Arabelle held Ari's hand, amused at how much he hated the sword. "Ari swords aren't bad."

Ari shook his head. "For you..........and Tyr. Swords weigh too much and require technique I haven't learned." He wanted his fucking bow. Arabelle and Tyr trained in swordplay. He was trained in distance fighting and Martial Arts

"What do you need?"

"I need something that'll give me better control of the wind. A sword won't do!"

"Hmmmm," Szelanya. "The best way to control the wind is to use your own hand. Unless you want a gauntlet, a sword is the next best thing."

"I'm trained in martial arts and I have the roses." There's no way in hell Ari could use a sword. He needed as little weight as possible and Serenity had to be carried at all times. His bow and his arrows could be summoned. His dagger could still be summoned

She had a point. It was either gauntlet or a sword

Ari kissed him. "It's alright love. I could train you if you'd like." she told him with a smile.
