Fantasy The Return of Corruption

Bailey chuckled, "Ari, I don't think you ant to argue with a goddess," She said, looking around for a new set of daggers.
"We both have something to gain and something to lose. The terms of this contract stay open for negotiation. What I want to know is why can't I get a bow?!"

Szelanya chuckled at his frustration. "I don't wield a bow, Waesmor. I'm a Wind Knight. I can't gift you something I don't use."

"I'm not becoming a warrior or a knight. I'm a mage first and foremost."

She sighed. "Look at your blade, look at Tyr's, and look at mine. Yours is not a warrior's blade. You can get in close, but it functions as a compliment to your magic, not as a suppressant, or a catalyst. It's as it's always been."

Ari gripped the sword. Light as a feather. "Will you let me test it out then?"

Misty nodded in urgance. "Let's go! I will ask Master for power."

The elf would notice that the man was bleeding heavily, her staff shrank into a wand and she would say repeatedly:

"Serva corpus sanitatis." A pleasant warmth would get all over Cross' body and a yellow shield of light would envelope them both, while the spell was slowly healing Cross in body and mind. Her potion was slowly healing the superficial wounds.

"Do not worry, fragile creature, I will heal you." She said with a motherly tone, while the spell was working on his mind and body, keeping his memory together and healing his flesh. Your skin starts to feel really warm. She would lift his head, letting him drink a sip from a glass bottle, containing a strong potion which will restore his mana's integrity. "I will have to bring him somewhere else that is safe! Do I have your permission?" She yelled at Ceralder.

Cross began to repeat Ciri's name. Hoping it would be enough for him to remember his own daughter.

Ceralder would look to the elf. "Get him inside. Now," He would turn back to the demon, and summon balls of blue flame, and draw his enchanted flamberge, Flauren. "I challenge thee, daemon. Meet me in mortal combat," with that, Ceralder would charge.

@Gabriel97 @Baku @Inheritance

She would look down at Cross, putting her hands on his chest and pronouncing: "Aufer a nobis periculum."

After that, they would start to fade away in a bright light, somehow moving inside, where Ceralder wanted them to be. The healing spell was still holding his mind and flesh together, not letting him loose completely the memory.

"You're seriously arguing with a goddess?" Bailey asked, "Wow, that sounds like a recipe for getting punched." She was still looking for some new weapons. Some daggers or maybe a short sword. ''Damn, how hard is it to find a freaking weapons I like?" She muttered

Ari swung the sword at the goddess. It released a crescent of white bladed wind at Szelanya. It hit her. She just stood there and a shield had a delayed appearance.

"See? Strong as ever."

Ari looked at it. He flipped it and pointed it at her in a thrusting position. It glowed white. "Stillpiercer."

It shot a small but focused almost laser-like shot at her. She moved out of the way as her shield was immediately shattered. "Satisfied?"

"I suppose so."

Misty came in. "Master!"

Ari looked up. "What is it, Misty?"

"Do you mind if I tap into your magic? We have an enemy!"

"Go ahead."

Sepentireon laughed quietly, bringing some feelers dangerously close to Katherine as they brushed up against her head.

"You have my word... Now... You can either tell me or you can let me find out."

The centipede left the flame, now completely in front of Katherine..

--------------

In the same dream, though inside a majestic library, Sandro would appear when he went to sleep. Hands would come out of the books in the shelves, which would form together to create a massive black blob. The blob, being made of tiny threads of some black slimy substance, would condense until it resembled Sepentireon.

"I am listening."

Katherine stood completely still, almost frozen, unblinking, flicking as the feelers grazed her head. "I don't believe you." She whispered hoarsely. Katherine jumped towards the small flame, dodging the feelers and putting her hand over the candle flame and shutting out the candle light. Her heart racing with adrenaline as she was now in complete darkness.

Arabelle listened to Ari argue with the goddess in silence, practicing using Lightbringer and getting used to her new armor's weight. She sighed and gripped Lightbringer tightly. The weight of the world was literally on her shoulders. If she failed the world would be lost. She had to win.

"NO!!!"

Katherine could feel the flame searing into her hand. The burning sensation grew more intense and dug itself into her hand. As everything went black, there was silence. Sepentireon whispered

"Please no... I'm scared..."

Katherine would feel wet soil on her face again. The sound of rain patting against the ground could be felt above her. Her hand was still warm, and there was something on it.

Sepentireon stopped midstep. A strange black mist began seeping out of his chest, consuming him.

"No... No!"

He ran into his library, madly searching for something in his stacks and stacks of books.

"I... Can't let this happen..."

(Awww. I wanted Ceralder to kill him by lighting him fully on fire, then chopping his head off )

Sandro appeared next to him

He seemed to have been gone the whole fight. "Need some help?" He said smuggly. "I hear a time heal does wonders on that. Get this thing outta me and we're even. "

The devil glared at his opponent. "FOOL, DID YOU NOT SEE WHAT I DID TO YOUR FRIEND?! I'LL DO THE SAME TO YOU!" He roared, and a wave of lava seared over towards the Lich.
Ceralder would charge through, blue flames sheilding him from the lava. He would feint toward the demons legs, and slash at its head

She would hear whispers in her head...so familiar..."Hope is an illusion...and you put your faith in illusion...you think illusion will win? When you fall, the world is lost. Ari will never love you. You will fail. Caress your great fear. "
