Avery was busy observing the way Carmen handled his little friend. He was quite impressed. Sh was so gentle and caring with him. He really shouldnt have been surprised though. His sister was so caring and kind that it was pretty much in her nature. Twick happily walked around Carmens hands, up her arm to her shoulder.
He was about ready to bounce from her shoulder to Avery's when he looked over and a very high pitched yet soft scream left his mouth as he looked over and saw a large head of a hippogriff poking out of the bush. It definitely didnt sit well with the Goodmoores either as they both jumped. Carmen shrieked and almost fell back, resulting in Twick starting to tip off her shoulder. Luckily Avery was quick to is catch him, holding the little bowtruckle to his chest before sending a glare at Sarah
"Do you really need to do that? Dont you have anything better to do?! You could have hurt him! And you shouldnt be doing that to the Hippogriff. He isnt a toy" He said before shaking his head looking down at the mildly terrified bowtruckle in his hands, making sure he was still in one piece. Carmen however was looking at the Hippogriff in question. Her eyes were wide in wonder. She gently held her hand out to him. Far enough that he wouldnt be able to hurt her, but close enough that he would be able to just lean forward. Avery watched the interaction, just in case something went wrong.
"Careful Carmen, you want to be gentle." He instructed, keeping his eyes away from Sarah as he watched Happy who pulled himself out of the bush, watching the young girl curiously before leaning forward and resting his beak against her hand. Carmen grinned happily at the amazing creature in front of her.
"They're very gentle as long as you dont offend them" He said gently, looking down at Twick as he climbed up to Averys shoulder.
Carmen smiled and looked at her older brother "You really do know everything."
"not everything, but im hoping too"
