The restaurant crew

[Odayaka Inazuma]

Lyle looked at her and chuckled. "I can't afford to not work and her grandparents are out of town for the night. Plus my sister and brother are away too. I didn't have a baby sitter so I figured I'd just bring her here and leave her color in the break room until she falls a sleep." He told her as he put Amethyst down and watched her suck her thumb as she held onto his leg.

 

[Sirensong]

Mia sighed lightly "yeah yeah.."she said sighing looking at him before sighing and getting to work "well hurry up okay..we got tables.."she said before running out the door with her food she sighed lightly she could hear her stomach growling she frowned lightly at the sound of that *it would be better...to eat and work..*she thought.

Lyle rolled his eyes before taking Amethyst to the break room and smoothing her hair. He knew she didn't like to be alone but right now she would have to make due. soon he found himself caught up in his work, yet he kept thinking about his daughter and hoping she was okay. He knew she would be getting hungry soon.

 

[Sirensong]

Mia sighed lightly when she got back to the kitchen she sighed lightly "whats her faveriotre food?"she asked looking at him she was chewing on some gum constantly like she was rathered unnevered at something she sighed she could see some of her coworkers tyring not to luagh about it she just tilted her ehad when she heard some whispers *what was that about?*she thought.

Lyle looked at her and smiled. "Cookies but she likes bananas and peanut butter toast too. Or chicken and rice. She's not the picky type like me." He said with a laugh. He never had problems getting his girl to eat. "She doesn't like mushrooms though." It was about the only thing she wouldn't eat.

 

[Sirensong]

Mia sighed lightly "well youd fit right in with Mina.."she grumbled lightly looking at him before going to take the girl something to eat she sighed having cookies and bananas and some soup "its a cold day you should atleast have something warm to eat "she said sitting down she was taking her break she sighed looking at the paper on the table she looked at the girl .

Amethyst didn't look up for a few but when she smelt the food she blinked and put down her crayon. Reaching for the cookie first she stopped when she saw bananas. Lyle smiled and chuckled. "Don't forget she can't hear well. You'll have to have her looking at you and be speaking loud too. Though she can read and write." He called before heading back out to waiting tables.

 

[Sirensong]

Mia sighed "yeah enevr stopped me from talking to a deaf dog.. or you !"she yelled out to him so he could hear she sighed lightly before munching on her own lunch *i swear lyles..death sometimes..but i thought most men were anyways *she thought luaghing about it she agve a sigh .

Lyle grumbled hearing her comment. "I thought ladies were supposed to be polite. Not rude wenches." He said jokingly as he grabbed his next order. Amethyst was watching Mia now as she munched on her food. Smiling she offered a crayon.

 

[Sirensong]

Mia looked at her and smiled and nodded lightly before staring to color lightly she sighed thinking about Mina *yeah..*she thought sighing "... Im only rude to people like you ! "she yelled at him and smiling lightly she sighed frowning lightly she sighed wipping the crumbs off her cheek she sighed lightly .

Amethyst smiled and gave a small yawn. she had soup on her face and she was starting to get messy with her coloring. Looking at Mia she couldn't understand how this woman felt about her father. Were they friends, lovers, or enemies. She wasn't quiet sure. Lyle chuckled and called to her. "I am not that bad of a person."

 

[Sirensong]

Mia huffed lightly she got quiet *dang it he says something i cant argue with..for once *she thought sulking suddenly she grabbed a chair and tossed it at him suddenly before walking back into the breakroom and sitting on the floor she sighed seeing the girl she sighed getting a napkain and cleaning the girls face off.

Amethyst smiled and yawned again before resting her head on the coffee table in there. She was rather sleepy after eating. Lyle smiled having seen how Mia was with his daughter. He wasn't going to say anything to her. He didn't need another chair thrown at him. so he went back to work and felt a little bit better now.

 

[Sirensong]

Mia sighed lightly before walking back in after her break she just shook her head before getting back to work she was grumbling lightly to one of the chefs about something about poor presentation or something like that they were just staring her down and looked at lyle like please help "control her please... "one said, Mia looked pissed"Im not his pet..!"she yelled looking at them she was having quite the temper she was mad about something she sighed lightly *he makes me even more pissed everytime i look at him today !*she thought before hitting the top of sink.

Lyle looked at Mia and chuckled. "She does have a point. I don't own that and nor would I want too. Beside the only poor presentation here is her attitude." He chuckled before grabbing the food and walking out. He was just picking on her but he had a feeling he best cool it soon. she seemed really mad about something.

 

[Sirensong]

Mia looked at him she went to the freezer and suddenly started screaming her head off she sighed lightly before walking back out and getting to work again she sighed lightly she seemed rather mad but she cooled herself infront of the customers she sighed happily *food smells good though ill give the chefs that..*she thought.

Lyle sighed as he cooled it on the comments and picking on. He was quiet for most of the night after that. On his break he picked up his daughter and sat with her sleeping in his arms. He wasn't even bothering to eat or take care of himself. he just wanted to be with her until he had to go back out.

 

[Sirensong]

Mia sighed lightly before bringing him some food she pushed it towards him and crossed her arms lightly before walking out she sighed some thinking about everything she had been checking her phone constantly *no calls..* she thought sighing sitting on a stool she frowned lightly *mina..you didnt kill the baby sitter did you?*she thought sighing.

Lyle sighed and shifted his daughter to one side so he could eat. Once he had finished he tucked Amethyst in on the couch and went out. Walking pass Mia he whispered his thanks to her before going back to work. He didn't want to many people to hear him thank her, but he thought she needed to hear it.

 

[Sirensong]

Mia looked at him and just nodded lightly and sighed she was glad when her shift was finally over she sighed lightly looking at him "you do have a ride tonight right dont let your daughter get cold.."she said looking at him though she knew he wouldnt *hmm.. *she thought sighing she looked towards the door wanting to rush home.

Lyle gave a nod and smiled as he carried his girl toward the door. "You okay?" He asked noticing how she looked. "I'm sure Mina is fine with the baby sitter. i would be more worried about the baby sitter, though I doubt she would ever be mad about something a child did." He told her hoping she would calm down a little.

 

[Sirensong]

Mia looked at him "thats who i am worried about...Minas fine .."she said sighing "and yes im fine to.."she said sighing looking at him "your off tommrow.."she said sighing looking at him "... i looked at the schedule.."she said sighing rubbing her head slightly *my head hurts..*she thought sighing .

Lyle gave a nod and tilted his head. "and? I have something to do in the early morning but other then that I have the whole day to do nothing." He said in case she need something. He still felt like he owed her for the other night. He would offer help only if she asked. He could feel Amethyst drooling on him and he just smiled and sighed.

 

[Sirensong]

"i need you to watch mina.."she said sighing looking at him "..i could have the baby sitter watch her but then plans would have to be cancled..."she said sighing looking away slightly before looking at Amethyst she smiled lightly at the girl though she tryed hiding it "oh and if Mina sees a cat... you might want to grab her..she tends to go overboard..with the hugging of cats"she said sighing

Lyle gave a nod and sighed. "I can watch her but I'll have to bring Amethyst along. Her grandparents wont be back until tomorrow night." He told her with a smile. "I'm just going to warn you know that I make trouble even when I'm not trying to." He chuckled and sighed. "But I'm sure you're used to it."
