    History: Alex was born in the heart of Italy. Florence. A beautiful city, of course. When he was ten, his parents moved to the city of Rome instead, which Alex loved with the same passion. By the time he turned 21, he had deep roots in Italy, and could never imagine leaving. So, of course, his parents told him that they were moving to America, and that he had to come. Despite days of arguments and fights, he was overruled. And so, defeated, he moved across the ocean with his family. He never truly belonged there, and never felt at home. When he was just 23, his parents broke the news to him. He was adopted, along with his brother. The news crushed him, and he immediately wanted to search out his biological parents. Unfortunately, his twin brother disagreed.

    Arya is a nice enough girl. Sure, she's a bit sarcastic, a bit hard to get along with. She loves the ocean, and swimming, especially on rainy days. She hates heights and being underground(She's claustrophobic)

    History: Not much to say, she and her sibling have had a pretty simple life up until recently. About two years before Arya signed them up for this Sibling thing, her brother, Max, started drinking. Heavily. It was clear to everyone that he was an alcoholic, and didn't want anyone to help him. But Arya refused to just let him drink himself to death, and she did everything in her power to get through to him. Finally, he slowed his drinking to a trickle. Any mention of alcohol makes him crave it, and he's fallen back to it a few times.

    Relationship with sibling: Good, she's been there for him no matter what, even when he doesn't want her to be. Biggest concern is his drinking, has been trying to stop him from ever touching alcohol again.

    History: David was born to a poor woman who told him that his father was a man she'd only met once. It had been a one-night stand that resulted in a pregnancy. She would've called him, but he was married, and they had both been drunk that night. In the end, when David was 12, he found his father himself. When his father realized he existed, he was worried, but thrilled. His wife had been rendered infertile after her first pregnancy, but his father wanted more children. But David and Jessica never exactly bonded, as David resented her for having what he wanted, a normal family.

Nanook stands at 5'9" [175 cm] and is 146 lb [~66 kg]. He has a light coffee complexion with generally smooth skin; his body isn't prone to much hair growth. His frame isn't too large or too thin with general muscle mass. He stays fairly lean. He has thick, straight dark brown hair. His common style was to wear it cut to the top of his jawline, but as he got older, he decided to let it grow out. He normally lets it fall free, but will braid or pull it back for formal events. Nanook is bold and a great problem solver. He is very expressive with his emotions and can think his way through any situation. He usually laid back and likes to keep the mood lighthearted and open for jokes; however, upon any sort of major news, he’s the first one to react, whether he be excited or grieved. When it comes to his younger sister, his relationship with her is fairly well. They are close in a sense that they can confide in each other with most things, but they know where to draw the line. He doesn’t keep a tight grip on her, but is always careful to keep a watchful and protective eye on her. He takes pride in his culture, but nowhere near as much as his sister does.


History:


Nanook and his younger sister, Nizhoni, were raised by two parents in rural Toksook Bay, Alaska. His mother is originally from the more northern city of Noatak. When he was five, an accident - like one from a movie or perhaps a book - occurred that resulted in the death of his baby sister, Saqui. It's probably the only part of his history that he never brings up due to guilt. They moved from the state when he was about seven.


Once they moved inland, they found it hard to find a stable home, causing him and his younger sister to have to stay with his father's relatives in Mexico and then Native relatives in Colorado where they learned more about their cultures. There, he picked up on some Spanish, but Inupiat is still his most fluent language next to English. It wasn't until he was fifteen that they settled for good in a decent-sized house in a good suburban community in Arizona. During high school, he considered going into the military, but after graduation, he ended up staying with his family until pursuing college in Vermont. Toward the end of his senior year of high school, his parents had another baby girl, Naira. He currently has an apartment in the state, but hasn't decided what state he'd like to stay permanently.


When it comes to his love-life, it's been very casual and he hasn't fallen into any deep relationships, which is fine with him. In high school, he briefly dated his friend Angela, but it was only dating and never turned into a relationship. During that time, he also befriended a girl named Nikki who he became close to, even to a point where he serves as 'volunteer daddy' to her child. In college, he had his first male encounter and confirmed his ideas about his sexuality. Things with Freddie were also casual, perhaps more of a friends-with-benefits sort of thing, but never escalated. He hasn't had any relationships since, or, well, any dates. He never found the need to rush love or spend extra time longing for it.

His relationship with his younger sister is fair. They can confide in each other with most things, but they know where to draw the line. He has always had a careful tendency to keep a watchful and protective eye on her, but that's less since they've gotten older and their lives have somewhat gone separate ways.

Nizhoni stands at 5'5" [165 cm] and is 125 lb [~57 kg]. She has a light beige complexion with smooth skin. Her build is fit and lean, but curvy. She has thick, extremely wavy dark brown hair that stops about 3” from her waist. Her hair used to be pulled back into a low ponytail with double braids on each side of her face cut to shoulder length and decorated with tribal beads; though, she's let her hair grow out since getting older and wears it loose. However, she will still sometimes braid it as it is and adorn it with beads. Though, she always wears cultural jewelry, sometimes expose or tucked away. Her large almond eyes are a very pale brown (appearing somewhat ochre in sunlight) with thin brows. She has a small nose, and medium-sized pink lips.


Personality:


Nizhoni is bold in the fact that she speaks her mind and is rarely hesitant. She knows right from wrong and tends to listen to the angel on her shoulder. Though she has a good behavior streak, it doesn’t mean that she’s a force to reckon with. She’s definitely a female that can hold her own. She won’t allow herself to be trampled over or mistreated in any manner by anyone. Despite her confidence, she is always laid back and typically sarcastic, only reacting to things that call for a reaction. She is creative and determined. When she has a set goal, she’s going to get it done or make it happen. She’s also caring, and will do anything that she can to help those around her, but gives special attention to her family. Speaking of family, she takes a great deal of honor and respect in their culture… even if there are some things that she disagrees with. If anyone tries to down her because of her and her family’s ways, they better expect to get a not-so-nice tongue-lashing.

History :


Mika grew up close alongside his twin sister, Rachel. But as they got older, the pair started to drift. His father worked as an architecture whilst his mother was a cosmetic surgeon. Growing up, the parents were quite absent but the family were still some what close. The two parents were having affairs though, both parents discovered this three years ago after a messy Christmas Eve whenever the maid (who the father was sleeping with) admitted to it infront of the family which lead to a discovery that their mother was having an affair also. Whilst in Highschool, Mika had a two year relationship with a girl which lead to a pregnancy which Mika was unaware of till recently and she put the child up for adoption.


Relationship with sibling? :


The pair were very close growing up. But when highschool came, the pair were starting to argue. The pair were around the same age, with the same friends and it just caused drama. But after the family incident, the two siblings had different opinions. Mika wanted a divorce between them. He wanted his mother to move out and have a new life. But, Rachel wanted the family to still stay a family and work together to make it work. Rachel blames Mika for pushing the divorce. Mika is pissed at Rachel slightly also because she wasn't there for him whenever he found out the news about his kid.
