Personality: A very sweet hard working kind of person. Wants to fit in with others, hence being a bit sensitive to people asking about her eyes. She tries to be up beat and positive whenever she can, and is very loyal to the people she respects.


Bio: Abby was born as a 'normal' child into a 'normal' family working under a 'normal' monarchy. It took almost a full cycle for her eyes to set on light brown and green, shocking her parents. After another few winters, they were forced to accept that Abby was a Gracie- someone with extraordinary skills in one thing or another, yet it was still unclear what the skill was. The monarch sent soldiers in her fourth winter to collect any Gracie children and have them sent away. Abby was captured by these men and taken to a place she liked to call 'Graced Prison'. She and a few other friends of hers arranged an escape sometime around her seventh winter, but the soldiers were told to shoot any and all escapes. If there were any other survivors of the group, then she and they must have ran in opposite directions. Lucky enough for her there was a Hotel nearby to run to...

Personality: Will is a very flirtatious and affable man, who is constantly looking for entertainment. While he may have the reputation to be a "party animal", Will can be very serious and stern. If someone offends another in a way that is not joking and Will is present, the offender will likely wake up with a black eye and a concussion. Will is always willing to help people with his abilities (though he procrastinates a lot), but magic has a price and these people must repay him one way or another. Will hides his hurt and mental scars beneath layers of happiness, but some days he honestly can't handle the pain and refuses to see anyone. No one knows what he does on these days.


Bio: Will was born into a poor farmers family during the Salem Witch Trials. And while he appeared normal, something had always been off since he was born; toys would suddenly appear for him to play with, crops suddenly started growing properly, mysterious weather would occur. His parents considered him a miracle until one day, William changed. His eyes; devil eyes as the people called them. His parents were so horrified that his mother hung herself, and his father tried to kill him. Will, however, wouldn't die. He couldn't die. He was a warlock. His father tried everything he could think of. Nothing worked. Eventually, his father resulted to drinking and would hardly ever come home. One day, he never came back. Awhile later, his body was found. Will had to raise himself, and did a decent job in his eyes. He stopped aging at age 21 and stayed in New York and when New York City came to be he bought a flat in Brooklyn and stayed there for a very, very long time. However, one night he found himself wandering and came upon the portal to the hotel.


Powers: Will has practically limitless power, though using too much will strain his life force and body (killing him) so he tends not to go overboard. He usually relies on electricity to fight and threaten people.

Personality: Despite his looks, Emyr is actually rather nice. He would ask a few questions before jumping into a fight and prefers company or a good book to combat, but he can fight if he needs to. He can be very protective of people he likes, if you hurt one of his friends he will not hesitate to hurt you far worse.


History: Emyr comes from one of the only Naga tribes in the world in Amazonia. Despite what people think of snakes this tribe is actually very tradition and discipline based and they discourage an attack from behind. Emyr hated that place with all it's oppression of differences and hatred for any advancement, he didn't want to live his life like every other male, train, fight, eat, die. On his 16th newyear he was expected to prove his worth of a man and fight against others his age to decided where they would be placed for the rest of their lives, Emyr knew if he wanted to he could easily come in first since he was willing to learn new ways to fight but that would mean he would be hated for being different. Not knowing what he would do he decided that he would leave during the next hunting trip.


After he left he knew he couldn't stay anywhere near the jungle or he would be found by the tribe and probably either put in the lowest rung of society or put to death. Because of this he traveled out into the world, finding food and a place to stay wherever he was welcome and running away from crowds where he was not. This went on for about three years before he found a special hotel.

Name: Jaiden Kovacs

Occupation: Baker


Appearance: Jaiden stands at 5' 4" and has always been seen as androgynous, but she doesn't mind. In fact, she likes it that way, preferring to keep her hair at ear length, bangs just long enough to cover her hazel eyes if she wanted to, auburn hair complimenting her fair complexion beautifully. She isn't particularly built, but is still on the lean side, most of her minimal body fat resting at her lower stomach.


Personality: Jaiden has always lived by the words "Lead from the background," doing everything in her power to help out whenever she is needed, but never wanting recognition. Call it humility if you'd like but in truth, Jaiden hates publicity and is extremely weary of who she opens up to. She avoids large social gatherings, preferring the company of close friends. The people that do end up getting close to her, whether it be through necessity or otherwise are treated with great hospitality and warmth. So in short, she loves her friends, but won't actively try to make new ones, even if she knew how.


History: Jaiden has lived a somewhat privileged life, with a stable family and enough money to live happily. As a child, she was the stereotypical "tom-boy" preferring to hang out with guys and play sports and video games until her early teens where she started to get into writing and drawing. Since then, people started seeing her less as she preferred to spend her time at home or in libraries, resulting in a decay of her social skills. Another passion from her teenage years was cooking and baking. So in fact, much that she started her own bakery when she graduated high school. To her dismay, her parents did not approve the least, and she hasn't talked to them since.


Strengths: She knows what needs to be done and doesn't deviate from her goal. She also doesn't let her emotions get in the way of her thinking and in normal situations is usually able to make a rational decision assuming she isn't too scared.


Weaknesses: Because she's so objective, she can come off as cold or unfeeling, making things awkward for others. She also tires easily, very easily. As in she gets winded after a short sprint because she suffers from asthma easily.


Apparel: She loves a good pair of dark blue jeans and leans toward the skinny sizes. She wears a white t-shirt under a black or dark grey hoodie. Whenever she's baking however, she wears an apron over her clothes.

Name: Ray Baird

Appearance: Ray is 6 feet tall, sporting a shaved head with long sideburns and a soul patch that reaches from the bottom lip to under his chin. He wears a dark blue flannel with white shoulder stripes, black dress pants and grey boots. He has an average build, his eyes are Pale and lack pupils though he is not blind. His hair is mainly Grey but retains little of his natural hair color, red.


Info: Ray is an abnormal anomaly, retaining a main appearance of a human with noticeable inhuman characteristics. Lacking pupils being one of these things, another being upon exhaling, a smoke-like mist comes from his mouth/nose (whichever he exhales from) This haze seems to have no visual affect on other beings, although nobody has been around him to notice any long term affects.


Past: Many of Rays memories has faded with age, another possibility of the lack of his memory might be from battling cancer. In Rays early 50s he was diagnosed with lung cancer, upon the diagnosis he underwent chemotherapy, also explaining his lack of hair on his head. His current state takes place after the first stage of his battle.


Personality: Ray is social, his brushing with death has made him believe that hiding yourself from others will not lead to a happy life. If he sees someone down he tends to attempt to cheer him up, though he forgets his... charming qualities arent common for others. Never the less he puts on a smile, be it fake or not, and hauls himself out there.

• Wydowna can create webs in the palm of her hand, and her webs have healing properties (like stitches). While handling these webs, Wydo turns each of her hands into pointed tips, like spider legs or a stick. When traveling on a web, however, her feet can turn into the same pointed tips as well.
  
  
  Wydowna also has a venomous bite, but doesn't use it much (because really, who's going to go around biting people?).
• She can be a bit of a diva at times, though Wydowna is still well-liked. She enjoys helping out through her webs, but won't go as far as to get her hands dirty. Wydo, although she prefers the finer things in life, will still "suffer" in third class if it is necessary. Her overall vibe is usually calm, unless she's angered, in which she turns into a monster... literally! All her eyes turn red, and her teeth become sharp as she starts hissing at people (that sounds so funny xD ).
