That means that something a important as an army moving would be easy information to learn for the king of thieves information network. As for your plan he never stated that he knew your plans just that we should prepare for the worst, which makes sense if you know a large imperialistic nation's army is close by. Last even if none of the actual player's characters heard the explosion it does not mean that other people (NPCs)did not hear it.


That should cover everything except how he knew about you which could easily be explained by the possibility of you having citizens who are selling information. If anything else seems wrong let me know.

Ah, that makes sense. But, he didn't really explain that. He simply talked to some thief in the capitol who knew everything.
 
all long as you are within his area, he does basically know everything. There is a reason the queen's guard is epic, this is one of those reasons.

But could you keep the info on the army's specific units and weapons obscure? I dun wanna competely reveal my nation's capabilities until the first battle between us.
 
I as a GM will say nothing. You marching you army around and leaving witness will say a lot though. taking peoples homes does not give you more friends.
 
The two exited the orphanage in a rush and ran through the town and plunged into the forest outside,moving at the quick but expert pace of experienced delvers of the wild, they charged towards the kingdom with the offending army.

you don't know where the kingdom is so you can't really charge towards it.
 
Well I'm hoppin' off to sleep, I'll roleplay tomorrow when I'm home from school till then if Marius is needed Derpington has control.
