Thanks, What is one of the higher, like positions?
 
First Mate and Second Mate have already been taken, but I'd be totally fine with a Third Mate if you wanted. xD Other than that, I think helmsmen (or whatever you call the person who regularly steers the ship) would be the next highest rank, although position doesn't matter too much to the crew.

Sounds good, and it's fine! :) The third mate would probably take charge of more minor tasks of the crew when the captain or others were preoccupied. He or she would probably also relay orders to the crew when needed, and could possibly be a lookout for land or other ships as well.

Personality: Anthony is a light hearted man, always in high spirits and good humor though he knows when to reel it back most of the time. His mood is nearly impossible to spoil as neither the utterly mundane and boring nor the most life threatening of situations seem to be able to put him down as he makes or sees something funny or interesting no matter what. He's quite a talker, always looking to talk someone's ear off whenever possible though his position at the helm leaves him very bored and eager for company most of the time. He has a long standing habit of being a bit of a gambler and a drinker, both bad enough when separated and more than a bit taxing on himself and the crew when mixed. Despite his position he treats most everyone on the ship the same, acting like they're old buds which is nice for people who've known him and new comers but taxing if you hold a position of authority and would rather be respected. Of course there's an exception. Angry mobs of fellow gamblers, the Navy and hurricanes he can laugh at but the captain is perhaps the only thing on earth that can turn him serious. Whether this is out of fear, respect or something else entirely is unknown.


Bio: Samantha Grim and Anthony Grim the First always wanted a sweet, bright boy when they got married. Instead the married noble couple got Anthony. Always an upstart since the beginning, he's always wanted more from life. Teaching and proper behavior was boring as dirt and he'd often skip out on lessons to see what life was like for the 'common folk' though he more often than not ended up hanging out with the lowest of society. Learning a few lessons around the difference between friends and people who wanted money the hard way, he got use to the routine of breaking out of the house, finding something to do like drink or gamble away his parent's money and then go home, get caught and have his head chewed off by the two of them. Wash, rinse, repeat. Hoping to teach him something about respectable living and duty, Anthony the First began prepping his son for the Navy, an idea he actually grew fond of quickly as it was far less dull than being at home. His father took him out on his boat to teach him all sorts of lessons on how to steer, adjust the sails and such. What should have been a moment that changed his life actually happened very spontaneously. He heard a supposed pirate ship had come into port, went to poke around and see what the deal was and after an interesting conversation with the ship's captain, he found himself on-board without so much as a word to his parents.


Piratey weapon arsenal: Anty is something of a gun fiend. Not being able to get off the wheel during most any fight on the sea, he usually keeps a vest carrying a good dozen flintlock pistols nearby at all times and firing off at anything that comes his way. The ship may also count as his reckless maneuvers have been known to do some damage albeit usually on both ends.


Other: He likes to make money but never seems to really use it all that often. Even if he gets lucky and manages to hoard up a nice sum for himself, he'll usually keep it until they reach port and just waste it away gambling or finding company if he's in the mood.
 
Still accepting peeople? seems like a humorous and light hearted RP. might be a nice change!
