[The Lost Guardian]

In the year 2078, two adventurers were scaling the cold, unforgiving peaks of Mt. Everest. Once they reached the top, they found something truly disturbing, which would cause an Armageddon for Earth. They found a Hydro-nitrogen Bomb. This wasn't the only of it's kind, however, as it was set to detonate 18 bombs of the same proportion exactly 3 minutes after this initial blast of the bomb on Everest. The two adventurers accidentally primed the bomb for detonation and as they scrambled to disarm it, the timer was quickly ticking down. The blast took out the entire mountain, which sent ash and chunks of rock, big and small, to rain down on the land below. One after the other, the other 18 bombs went off, causing similar destruction. The Sun was blocked out by smoke, ash and any other sediment that was launched into the air. A few pockets of survivors stay alive by creating tunnels under ground with air generators and gas masks. A lone 20 year old man named Sam Krunder decides he's taken enough of life under ground and surfaces to the wasted landscape of his old home. He hears of a road that was created to a almost kingdom called the, "Path of Lords," where a whole civilization has congregated to help save the Earth and restore it to it's old glory. It is run by the Lords of the Mountains. While journeying through the wasteland on his way to this mysterious and fabled road, he meets a strange character...

I'm honestly impressed by the plot!! Don't we still need to do character sheets? Guessing this plot is something you thought of before? O.o

Thank you for the complement. Believe it or not, I actually came up with this off the top of my head... If you would like to create Character Sheets, then let's do that, but I didn't feel we needed them seeing as this is a 1 on 1.

I'd rather not have to make a whole character sheet if I didn't have to, so let's just start. I've already kind of set up my thing, so go ahead and start with whatever your character intro you want.

"I was told that you had what I needed..." I Glared at the old man trapped between the wall and me everything around us was crumbled to bits, and that's not because of those explosions...the man shuttered under my glare to scared to speak I backed up sighing before crossing my arms.


"That's not the answer I wanted...but I'll leave because I can't waste time at the moment...I need to find it." I quickly left the guy but before I left picking up the kunai I used to keep my hair in a ponytail and as a side weapon. Putting my blonde hair back up as I walked mindlessly I found myself on a deserted road...more so than others. I actually did have time considering I had no idea who else to ask, the old man was the only person who might have had it. I'm looking for a so called 'cursed Amulet' it's not really cursed but it's important to me. As I walked down the pathway I could see a blurred figure in the distance. Possibly someone with information on it my teal eyes dilated as I tried to see them better but to no avail. Why can't shapeshifters have good eye sight normally. I started running to catch up with the person and caught up fairly quickly. When I caught up I immediately slowed down to catch my breath.


"Hey!! Can you hear me?!?"


(Probably a little sillier than I planned but oh well it's what came to mind xD )

I heard a voice calling out to me. Female. I grunted slightly and turned around to face my caller, as my long brown cloak flowed in the soft breeze behind me.


"Yes, I can hear you. What do you need?"


I pull my trust rifle up to a more ready position in case this stranger decided to stop being so friendly and attack me.

When I got my breath back I finally spoke.


"You can put the gun down your not on my kill list, not yet anyway" I glared at the gun before taking out my scyth and the chained kunai in my hair and showing him.


"Look if you don't believe me I can put these down" I kept them out but still having firm hold of them.


"Anyway I wanted to know where your going and if you happen to know anything about a onyx 'cursed' amulet" If he doesn't I'll probably have to follow the trail too because I don't know where else to look...

"Look if you don't believe me I can put these down" I kept them out but still having firm hold of them.


"Anyway I wanted to know where your going and if you happen to know anything about a onyx 'cursed' amulet" If he doesn't I'll probably have to follow the trail too because I don't know where else to look...

"Well, you certainly seem to be energetic. Set those weapons down and then we can talk."


I keep the rifle aimed at her abdomen, ready to fire. I keep my eyes on the scythe. I think, 'That looks very effective.'

"You could say that...anyway fine I'll put it down though I don't understand why I would kill you when you haven't answered my question yet" I laughed a bit putting both weapons in one hand and lowered them down to the ground before pointing at his gun accusingly.


"Now yours, I put mine down....now you, it's not like I can just let you hold onto it when you are pointing it at me, right now..." I put my other hand on my hip waiting for him to do something

"You could say that...anyway fine I'll put it down though I don't understand why I would kill you when you haven't answered my question yet" I laughed a bit putting both weapons in one hand and lowered them down to the ground before pointing at his gun accusingly.
"Now yours, I put mine down....now you, it's not like I can just let you hold onto it when you are pointing it at me, right now..." I put my other hand on my hip waiting for him to do something

"I won't set it down, but I'll put it away."


I throw the rifle over my shoulder and look at the girl through the visor on my helmet.


"An amulet, huh? I haven't heard of it... Do you have any more details on this, 'amulet?'"


I stare the girl up and down, trying to see any concealed weapons or anything that could pose a threat.

I frowned at him, what difference does it make? Then I kneeled down to the ground and picked the up and putting them back where they were with the Scyth on my back.


"Ok fine then I'll do the same so it's fair"


I shook my head before noticing he was looking for more weapons he's not trusting what so ever is he? I snapped my fingers in front of my face twice.


" Find what you were looking for? I don't have any extra weapons just so you know" I shook my head before looking up at the dark skies.


"Anyway It's a black amulet apparently made from onyx with emeralds all around it and a moon stone in the middle" I tried to remember it as well as I could tapping my chin before smiling widely and pointing.


"OH the amulet is about as big as a squirrel before the disaster!!!"

"Anyway It's a black amulet apparently made from onyx with emeralds all around it and a moon stone in the middle" I tried to remember it as well as I could tapping my chin before smiling widely and pointing.


"OH the amulet is about as big as a squirrel before the disaster!!!"

"A squirrel, huh? Well, that must be pretty big then... I know nothing personally of this amulet, but I am heading to some people who may be able to help you."


I relax the rifle and decide that it's safe enough to put on a semi-friendly persona.


"Have you heard of the Lords of Mountains? They are apparently knowers of all things. They could help you."


I notice that this stranger isn't wearing any protective gear.


"Do you need some armor or something? Or do you have some already? I can make you some."

"I guess I have to come with then, I already checked everybody in the last area...everyone knew what the crazy amulet was but didn't know anything else...one person said there was a Legand about it though I know that's fake." I shook my head sadly remembering the fibber but looked back at the stranger.


"No I never heard of it probably because I don't hang around people for to long if the don't have any information. Guessing you have something crazy to ask these people as well?" I started walking forward and the moment I was in front I turned around and walked backwards.


" But no I don't have any armor they usually drag you down and make you slower so I never got or made any"

I start to follow the woman with my rifle over my back a my knife in my right hand, it's curved handle flipping around my hand.


"Plus, the armor would be light. Like mine."


I toss one of my small glowing stones behind me.


"Oh, I forgot my manners. What's your name?"

"My name? Oh haven't been asked that for years I almost forgot it! Isa Evenich and you are?" I raised an eyebrow noticing the knife, I frowned and shook my head.


"Guess you have to fight a lot or like fighting considering how close you are to your weapons...either way it looks like we both have to go there for something important to us...but I won't ask anymore about what you are doing" I took a glance behind me to make sure nothing was behind me for awhile till I have to look again.

"My name? Oh haven't been asked that for years I almost forgot it! Isa Evenich and you are?" I raised an eyebrow noticing the knife, I frowned and shook my head.


"Guess you have to fight a lot or like fighting considering how close you are to your weapons...either way it looks like we both have to go there for something important to us...but I won't ask anymore about what you are doing" I took a glance behind me to make sure nothing was behind me for awhile till I have to look again.

"It's nice to meet you, Isa. My name is Sam... I prefer Krunder though, if it's not an issue."


I flip the knife around by the small ring on the end from my pointer finger.


"I'm not attached per say to my weapons, but I definitely enjoy using my knife to play around with."


I hear a loud screech in the distance and glance over my shoulder to see where it came from.


"Did you hear that?"
