here's a link to the info thread: http://www.rpnation.com/showthread.php/2120-The-Outer-Rim?p=56408#post56408

Ok so here goes nothing! so as i said before, humans are allowed, and only humans, unless you pm me with sheer brilliance. also, psionics falll under the only sheerly brilliant pming rule. with that in mind, here's my character, as an example. just use the bolded text on yours. Also, in your history, i'd vastly preffer people who are not so friendly with the federation. after all, we are criminals
xD

possible roles include pilot, engineer, 2nd in command (must have been longtime crewmember) doctor, and security guard. of course, other roles that fit the setting are allowed

rules are basically you have free run of your character, and cna control npc's to a certain extent, but that's mostly what i'll be doing. besides of course Jim. plus no cybernetics, they haven't figured that technology out yet. genetically, slight enhancements are ok, but only to about 1.5 human normal effectiveness.

Also, because there are over half a billion star systems, feel free to create your own planet/system/culture for your history, i may have a basic plan for where we're going, but your characters are important and their histories WILL be incorporated into the story!

name: James Kisner Zarich

Age: 47

nickname: Jim

role: captain

personality: Jim knows how to fight, and knows it well, but better yet, he knows how to talk and bluff his way out of trouble. A rebel without a winnable cause, he hates the federation just as much as any other rim worlder, probably more, as his home planet Zilestra V was glassed by the federation (this is hoe the federation puts down rebellions) along with his whole family. Most of the time, Jim is a jovial man, quick to laugh at himself and others, and quick to lend a hand to those in need. But Jim's past weighs heavily on him. He blames himself for his family's death on Zilestra V, and, because of that, is very protective of his crew and ship, considering anyone on the Albadar's crew to be his kin.

Physical Description: Jim is a tall man, at 6'7” he towers above most men, and his flaming red hair makes him stand out in almost any crowd even more. His face is that of a man used to being low on his luck, and even lower on funds. His green eyes flash from the upper part of his face, right above a scar slashed across his left cheek from a vibro-knife in a bar fight, rendering that eye the milky white of a blind man. He has the well muscled frame of a man who hits the gym every day, which he does, but his hands are callused more from moving boxes than holding a gun or any other weapon. Jim usually wears a brown duster and a black cowboy's hat to hide his hair while planet side, but on his ship he wears the uniform of the Zilestran militia in remembrance of his past.

History: James had an average life as a man on the Outer Rim. Born and raised on Zilestra V, he had an uneventful childhood, and as he grew up he joined the Zilestran Millitia, where met that special someone, Kyra. After a year they married, and shortly thereafter they had two sons and a daughter. This is when James became a legitimate merchant. he did odd jobs to keep afloat while spending months on Zilestra with his family, always hoping to make a better life for his family.

Then came what the Federation term "The Zilestran Rebellion". In reality only a few cities on Zilestra 4 rebelled, but that's the way things are when you're the corrupt governing body of the vast territories of the human race. And so, as is Federation policy, they glassed the whole system. (glassing means nuking the plent's surface until it is no longer able to sustain life) James and his ship, the Albadar, was away on business when he found out, and the news almost crushed him. He was looking for a new role in life after the destruction of his home world, just trying to keep afloat, keep moving, and keep desperation and insanity at bay. He found a year later, when he realized that there was at least one way he could get back at the Federation, and took on his first illegit shipping job, becoming a smuggler. since then, he has basically been keeping under the radar and making a living on the outer rim for the last 14 years of his life.

Name: Janus Santangelo (Pronounced "Yawnus")

Age: 224

Nicknames: Jan,Santa,Junkie

Crew Position: Head Engineer

Personality: Due to the nature of Cardamine,Janus is often quite awake and active. He can look at any piece of technology, and more often than not see how it works with other pieces of tech, allowing him to jury rig interesting things. Aside from that,he's often quite compromising. He knows he'll outlive nearly everyone around him.

Physical: Outside of his suit, which he very rarely removes,he's quite pale. However,he's,for lack of a better term, ripped. He stands at an unimposing five foot nine inches, and his hair is dark brown,as well as his eyes. He sports a soul patch, and his hair is kept short. His torso looks like a crude roadmap,a littany to the trials of the Maltese and their extended lifespans. The clothes he wears under the hardsuit are quite drab and utilitatian; a short-sleeved blue crew shirt, and a pair of matching long-legged pants, that look like they're made of pockets.

View attachment 2686

There's a chest mounted canister with small, reinforced hoses leading to his helmet. His back holds an air tank, with a reinforced hose going from it to the back of his helmet. He carries a jury-rigged buzz baton (nightstick with a nasty electric current) with a stabbing point, and a jury-rigged mass accelerator handgun (gauss pistol). They look like they'd fall apart if looked at funny.

History: As a Maltese citizen,Janus lived an extremely long life. The Federation imposed very strict sanctions on his people,in an effort to restrict Cardamine. At an early age,he joined up with a ship as a labourer. This is when his talent for technology manifested itself, saving the ship from an overloading reactor. He visited the Core Worlds a couple of times, and was disgusted by the treatment of the lower class there; Used as slaves,or guinea pigs,or simply ignored by the rest of society.

Eventually, the Maltese rebelled against the Federation, tired of the unbearable taxation and sanctions agains what was quite literally their lifeblood. The Federation sent fleet after fleet to pacify the Masltese, however they were always pushed back. To this day,the people of planet Malta are independant from Federation rule.

Because of the Maltese Revolution,Janus was always treated as a second-class citizen at best,or enemy of the state at worst. Throughout his travels he was mugged, beaten, stabbed, slashed, and shot. Every time he lived, and repelled his attackers. Five years ago,he found a man named James Zarich, and asked if he had a ship. He replied in positive. He asked if he needed an engineer. Zarich was leery, but when Janus presented his jury-rigged weapons,he was brough on board without further inquiry. Since then,Janus made it a point to convert half of his living quarters into a small Cardamine plantation,so they'll never run out on their travels.

Ok riddle, Janus fully approved.

just make sure he keeps his head down on fed controlled territories, we like to fly 'under the radar'

Name: Lillian Isle

Age: 26

Nickname: Lilly, Lil

Crew Position: ship medic

Personality: she is intelligent, respectable, compassionate, and determined, as well as headstrong, stubborn, and sensitive. She takes her job, as well as other things, very seriously, and she doesn't appear to have a sense of humor when first approached.

Physical Description: Lillian looks like her age, quite mature with a pretty, young face. She's average height, fair skin, with dark eyes which doesn't seem to complement her golden-orange hair.

History: Her parents once had a family business, something similar to a mechanical pawn shop. Holding up the business had been and economic struggle for the family, and it was difficult to pay for rather pricey necessities. Her younger brother had become sick, and the required treatment cost too much to go through with it, so he was left to battle it, untreated. The disease quickly sepread throughout his whole body, and he lost the battle and passed on. Knowing that he could have been saved, Lillian aspired to become a doctor to save the lives of others. In fact, she wanted to leave her home of Colitar to explore the Outer Rim, and hopefully give aid to the people of those worlds. Her parents knew it was dangerous, and disagreed with her views. Also, they couldn't afford the education she needed to get her through medical school. Determined to not let her brother's death be in vain, Lillian spent her personal savings for her education, and even went as far as "borrowing" money from the family business' treasury.

This had caused the business to fall deeper into debt, and trouble with paying shipment taxes. Her father had found a way to get past paying the taxes by rerouting his shipments around federal checkpoints. The Feds discovered this, and arrested him for smuggling. The feds used his crime to gather information on the smuggling ring, which he had no part of. The brutal interrogations executed by the Federation became too much for Lillian's father. He died an innocent man, which Lillian responded with hostility to the Federation. Her mother, however, was heartbroken, and lost the will to do daily activities. She refused to eat, no matter how much Lillian pleaded her to do so. In an attempt to help her, Lillian prescribed her with depression medication. Her mother took them, but twice the legal dose, and the doses have only increased, and ulitmately died of an overdose. Lillian felt like she was responsible for both of her parents' death.

Devastated, she ran away and found solitude inside a ship. When the captain, James, found her, he let her stay aboard. When he discovered she was a medic, he hired her onto his personal crew. Although she is gratuitous, Lillian still wonders why, even after she broke into his ship, did he quickly accept her.

Name: Adsila Igasho Yokiwachiwi

Age: 32

Nickname: Ads, Yoki, Skygirl, Kiwi (by one person)

Role: Pilot

Personality: Adsila is a curious woman and a daydreamer still to this day. She loves piloting and is always in a good mood when she is flying through space. She is a good-natured girl and gets along with most. She does not judge people and is friendly. Adsila is bright as well. She loves to talk about her people, though can get upset when people call them primative or other other insult. Adsila has a habit of talking to herself outloud when in bad situations or when she is lost in thought.

Physical Description: Adsila is tall and lanky, standing at 5'8" and weighing about 137 lbs. She has well defined muscles in both her arms and legs. Adsila has a meduim shade of brown skin and waist length black hair with red highlights, she usually keeps in a braid. Adsila has deep green eyes. She bears a tattoo inbetween her shoulder blades of a comet.

History: Adsila was born on a planet that was on the outer rim so far that it had few technologies, Koeaves. Adsila had heard that once, Koeaves had good technologies, but eventually the wilderness took over and the people became settled in their "primate" lifestyle. The Federation didn't mind their crazy beliefs or that they rejected most of the modern, technology lifestyle as long as they supplied things like food, lumber, and other products that grew exclusive to the planet. Koeaves also became a tourist place for those who had not seen wildlife to go and explore. Some of the tribes accepted this, while others didn't want any contact outside the planet.

Adsila grew up learning about the forests and oceans and lakes and animals that populated the planet. She learned both Coars and the common tongue, Coars native to her and their surrounding tribes. Adsila lived in a tribe just outside the Yellow Forest and for most of her young life, Adsila learned to hunt and gather, though at times she ran to a tourist village and learned what she could from the outsiders. Eventually Adsila fell in love with the idea of flying through space and would daydream about it often. When Adsila turned sixteen, a group of lost Federations coming to pick up their supplies got lost and ended up in their village. For a while it was calm, until one of the drunk Feds flew into a rage at them, saying they should stop with their bullshit and just give in and become modernized. A fight broke out and Adsila watched as half of her village burned. Adsila even lost her best friend, Keegeo.

Adsila still set her sights on becoming a pilot and her tribe took to call her Skygirl. At twenty-two, she managed to leave the planet with help from an outsider. At first Adsila found herself overwhelmed, but eventually grew to accept the other cultures, not losing her beliefs. She befriended people in the pilot school she went to and still keeps in contact with one. Adsila became a pilot at the age of twenty-eight and eventually found herself on the smuggler ship a year later.

i love the character, especially her background

consider her approved. and once we get socks charrie, WE CAN GET INTO SPACE!

Name: Phalon Resnjyak

Age: 28

Nickname:
N/A

Role:
Spy, thief, infiltrator, general homebody

Personality:
Although Phalon presents an image of someone who is soft and submissive and it isn’t entirely dishonest, it is still at odds with the bitter resolution that lies close to her bones. She is in conflict with herself and more and more often this is spilling out in evidence when she interacts with others.

Physical Description:
Phalon was genetically bred to please the eye, with long, fine blonde hair, dark gray eyes and pale skin with a hint of a honey tone. Standing at 5’11, her slim build contributes to make her appear smaller. The only evidence of male in her at a casual glance is a lack of distinct curves and a strong jaw

History:
Born on Xananteos, a moon of Lithacum in the Liberdas system that was early on designated as a place to hide questionable genetic experiments and programs. (The most successful one to arise was breeding lines of people to appear and behave certain ways in contrast to their apparent gender or sexuality, serving a niche of deviancy in the upper levels of society on the Core and Inner Rim planets.) Phalon’s parents were both products and rejects of the program of a company called Icarus Inc., having failed to be designed after their intention, and they struggled to survive on a world that did not receive the benefit of its production. They had several children and one of them, Phalon, naturally grew to be exactly what Ic-Inc had been working towards.

Forced into prostitution by age fourteen, it wasn’t long before Ic-Inc snapped him up, buying his slavery from his destitute parents and transferring him to the training and care of a Distributor, though the official title was Ibu. Phalon endured for almost ten years, learning to bend to survive while nursing a seed of defiance until, with the help of one of her siblings, she was able to buy her freedom and escape their reach before they could renege. They took refuge on a ship called the Lady’s Wave, but after almost three years left for reasons neither Phalon nor her sibling are willing to discuss, catching the attention of Jim Zarich on a smuggling job. Phalon has presented herself as female and only the captain knows otherwise at this point.

~*~

Name: Ruma Tejnava

Age:
22

Nickname:
N/A

Role:
Tool rustler, gun arm at need, odd-job assistant

Personality:
Abrasive and contradictory right down to his core, Ruma misrepresents a desire to help and protect others by behaving in an overbearing, despotic way. The only thing holding him in check most days is the knowledge that the ship isn’t his.

Physical Description:
A less successful result of Xananteos breeding, Ruma still represents an androgynous intention of their culture, with a wide jaw that’s just soft enough to go one way or the other, a small, thin pink mouth, narrow pale gray eyes and a nose that’s almost two big to pass for female but for the fine shape of his cheekbones that obscures it. His dark blond hair he keeps short, with just enough length to style a bit if the mood takes him but not get in his way. 5’6” and compact, more muscled than curved, you’d have to see him naked to know that he was female.

History:
The sixth and youngest child in her family, Ruma made it clear from a young age she was what their culture labels ‘shidon.’ (On Xananteos with the appearance and roles expected of an individual varying hugely from the standard practice of most of the Core and Inner Rim systems, common gender phrases break down into multiple subgroups.) In Ruma’s case, even though she appeared to develop appropriately for her lines, her temperament made her too volatile to serve the role she had been bred for. When she was nine, her life was almost forfeit when she fought against her brother Phalon being sold and taken from them and despite her youth, she never forgave her family’s weakness and left to survive on her own. Although her life was endangered many times, through stubbornness and pride she endured, escaping the fates of the nindoga by sheer luck.

At fourteen he was taken on by the captain of the Lady’s Wave who was an honest man and recognized that Ruma was in a position vulnerable to capture and slavery and protected him from it. The next five years saw him find a place in a family, learn how to better balance his two natures, as well as contribute to the function of the ship. Driven to find and recover his sibling, he finally succeeded when he was nineteen, but the victory was bittersweet in many ways that took him years to fully understand.

Now separated from the crew he knew and loved, Ruma has sunk back into conflict of being shidon which makes him act much younger than he is and undermines any effort to conform to the normal standards of male or female.

~*~

Addendum - For anyone who's curious (or confused), on Xananteos gender isn't defined by your body parts, but whether during sex you're more likely to be the catcher or the pitcher, regardless of gender: nindoga or doantha. They can be forced into the role of nindoga, but then it becomes doanmenon. The next breakdown is by your force of personality, leader or follower, roruth or swaror, and then whether your inclination is to protect or to serve, shidon or lipedon. As most people tend to fall into a pattern--doantha-roruth-shidon versus nindoga-swaror-lipedon--doatha is acceptably substituted for 'male' and nindoga for 'woman'. But there are enough variations that there are still other names that take combinations of the root words. For a relevant example, Phalon is classified as lipemenon which would translate as someone who lives on their face, versus doanmenon which would translate as forced to the face. In Ruma's case, because his desire to protect his sibling dominates all else about him, he would be classified as shishidon above all else, 'born defender.'

If you can't tell, this didn't spring up merely for the purposes of these characters xP I hope it helps, if not, I'll remove it.

alright hatch! Phalon and Ruma approved!

Okay everyone, it is currently 4pm sunday where i am, at aroung 5 pm on tuesday im starting this rp.

i would still be willing to accept new characters after that point, but we'll have to figure out how to work them in.

Name: Hügo Sciz Rangrove

Age: 38

Nickname: Sciz

Role: An Engineer

Personality: Sciz generally has a cheerful attitude. He had planned on professing in therapy before The Federation decided to take his brother. Other than that, he's friendly, clever, gentle and outspoken.

Physical Description: Sciz wears a pair of mechanical glasses that are wrapped around a visor-like hat around his head that can lower, adjust and zoom as he pleases. He has light blonde hair and green eyes. He's occasionally dirty because he takes pride in the dirt/grit while building/fixing. 5'6", 135lb

History: When Sciz was 15, he lived with his older brother (because he had old parents and they died of natural causes) in a generally wealthy region. A little while after his brother's 29th birthday, he was abducted by the Federation for accusation of rape. Sciz had various attempts at retrieving him from the federation, none of which succeeded. His brother was eventually executed after an unfair trial. Ten years after all of this hullabaloo, Sciz was meeting patients from the federation as a therapist. Sciz had found a very suitable façade to keep his mass loathe of the federation hidden and treat his patience. Work is work.

While he would jot down notes of his patients silly problems and smile, he would occasionally learn juicy secrets nobody ought to be aware of. One patient was a former rebel but quit because of an upcoming operation. This had made Sciz smile, he wanted to know more. Not for the good of the federation, but fuel his inner rebel. So Sciz'd ask questions and his patient would eventually tell him what he wanted to know. After this patient was treated, Sciz moved on, but the federal eavesdroppers didn't. They didn't know what Sciz now knew, but they knew he knew what they wanted to know. On a Tuesday in July, he heading to a session with a familiar client; one with intriguing rebel tales. His client handed him a slip of paper that said "The Federation knows we discussed about the rebellion. Unless you want to be jumped, come with me". Sciz looked up from the note at him, confused. His client responded silently with urgent eyes.

Sciz was taken to a "headquarters" in the slums that hosted the rebellion. There, Sciz found his interests in engineering. He build and fixed tools/weapons for the rebels to use as they pleased. As for the mechanics, they had underground missions that could help them make money for equipment and parts. The Mechanics also were smuggling goods for a profit. Sciz might have loved this as much as engineering. At this point, Sciz didn't care too much for the federation, just that he had stuff to build and goods to move with a nice cash present. This didn't last too long, tho. Eventually, the rebellion headquarters was bombed by the federation.

Dozens of members had died, the whole rebellion seemed destroyed. Days later, the rebellion had dispersed entirely. Sciz had moved on to grabbing whatever kinds of jobs he could handle at bars. Whatever needed to be moved or fixed, Sciz would tackle. He was asking around one night for possible jobs when Jim's attention was caught. Janus asked Sciz a couple engineering questions to test his knowledge, and Jim offered if he'd like to lend Janus a hand on the Albadar. Sciz accepted, and acts as both an assistant and a crew member with smuggling and engineering. Oh, and he likes collecting H-Bolts.

Name: Syndric Solotov

Age: 30

Nicknames: N/A

Crew Position: Engineer/Security Guard

Personality: Syndric is generally a cautious and person but it goes to the point where it seems more like paranoia. He rigs traps inside his own room, sleeps with a gun in his hands and never takes off his suit around others. He speaks very little on the rare occasions he even does speak. He occasionally goes into bouts of depression as he thinks about his past and his parents but nobody can really tell with him always in the suit and quiet as usual. He enjoys helping people and making people happy.

Pic: http://www.creativeuncut.com/gallery-14/art/lp2-carpetbagger.jpg

Physical: Syndric is 6'1" in height. He has spiky, black hair which he keeps short, light brown eyes and pale skin which he is working on adding some colour to.

History: Syndric was born into a family of factory workers on the manufacturing planet known as Noctus. His home planet is covered in manufacturing and recycling plants which belch out smog and other pollutants which made the planet surface invisible from space. It was a miracle anything could survive. Everyone had to wear gas masks to survive and the air outside the buildings was thick enough to cut with a knife. The flora and fauna however were somehow resistant to the pollution and adapted to it. The beasts that roamed the darkness on the planet would claim a few workers every now and then but it seemed to be unnoticed by the managers and the other higher ups. The planet's population remained huge however, despite the conditions and due to the planet's position far away from the core worlds, a lot of manual labour was in use instead of machinery. The people were thought of to be expendable and were slaves to the Federation. At least that was how they were treated. The workers lived in slums while the higher ups lived in comfort in towering structures which overshadowed the worker domiciles.

As could be expected, his family was quite poor and there was often not enough food to fill their bellies. At age 8, he started working as an assistant to the engineers and technicians by bringing them their tool kits. At age 14, he was sent to a scrapyard to work there. He sifted through the junk piles alongside many of the other workers as they picked out anything made of metal so the plants could recycle it. At age 18, he was shifted again but to the assembly lines where he worked alongside his parents as they loaded the conveyor belts and moved crates with the other workers. During this time, he made many friends but work left little time for socialization. 4 years later, he was promoted to being a technician as he displayed skill with machinery. This skill was developed from his time working and watching the work of others. After another 3 years, he was again promoted, now to being an engineer. With the pay rise that came with his new position, he could afford to feed his family but that wasn't enough for him. He wanted to leave Noctus and liberate the populace from their slavery.

He did some tinkering over time, occasionally braving the danger of venturing outside so he could gather scrap metal and other bits of machinery dumped in the scrapyards. Eventually, he managed to create enough equipment to start a small riot which he used as a distraction so he could sneak onto one of the junk ships. He tried to bring his parents with him but they were too weak to come with him after so many years of being overworked. He promised them he would return some day to set the people free. It was a promise he hoped he would be able to keep.

After hiding in the cargo hold of the ship for some days and almost starving to death when his food ran out, he managed to sneak onto another ship while at a refuelling station. He was thrown in the brigg for being a stowaway and while there, he pleaded with anybody that was within hearing range of him. He managed after a while to convince the captain to hire him. He was under surveillance for quite some time as he had to prove his loyalty but that day came eventually. One day when the crew had stopped to sell some cargo at a black market trade post hidden inside a very large asteroid, Ivan had overheard a small group of mercenaries whispering to each other about their plans to place tracking devices on various vessels so they could sell the locations of smugglers to the Federation. Later on, right before they had left, Syndric did a search to find the tracking device and disabled it. He could just as well have sold the crew out to the Federation at a later date by changing the frequency of the tracker and selling a PDA or something linked to the tracker to the Federation while he was off the ship. Later on, he brought it to the captain, telling him about the tracker and how he could have sold out the crew to the Federation without them knowing had he chosen to.

Name: Hartwin N. Voigt

Age: 30

Nickname: N/A

Role: Second in Command

Personality: Rather laid back, passive, loyal, attentive, responsible, cheerful, and hard working. Can have some jealous tendencies, and gets rude pretty fast if motivated.

Physical Description: A rather towering figure, Hartwin’s height comes in at 6’4” and his body seems to be built in the same way. Sturdy and imposing despite the brunette’s kind nature; has a rather square face and eyes that are green around the edges and a nice golden yellow near his pupil. Is rather tanned and has somewhat of a Vandyke beard coming in, although he leaves it at its shadowy level.

History:

Beralin was the planet Hartwin called home for his younger years, it was a planet in the Kalmin system and not much more was obscure about it. Standardized tech had found its way onto the planet as well as a myriad of other things that the outer planets did not get to experience. It was a normal life, really, something that was easily taken away by the Federation’s people.

It started off slow, with little blood shed that people often ignored for their own safety; the people’s placid nature did not stop the regime, though. The Federation started terrorizing the people more, wielding their power with a secret police that captured and attacked more people. That was when a rebellion started; a weak group had formed with one of the key members being his father. Hartwin joined up, not understanding why the people wanted to be treated like they were.

Eventually though, the bigger group had won and the rebellion group was captured and held prisoner on their own planet. It was a depressing time for the 24 year old, considering the others of his people were being ordered around on the doorstep. Some people couldn’t take the stress and it was through their sacrifices that a few of them managed to escape. Hartwin had to leave his father behind and it unfortunately resulted in his death, and he blames himself.

There was really no time for it, as the man had to get off the planet before the Federation caught him again. It was the last thing he had to do to make his father’s death actually worth it, and he found his way onto an inconspicuous ship. It was then that he met his close friend, Jim, although Hartwin was much more awkward when they had met up. He simply just told him that he needs to get out of there, and it was with a confirmation which started the bond between the two.

Has been on the ship for a little less than 6 years…

name: Yuri Tii

Age: 22

Nickname: Yuri, Tii

Role: Navigator, deck hand

Personality: Yuri is quite serious. She knows what needs to be done and does it well. She doesn't take no for an answer. Has almost no sense of humor but has some. A bit shy and still quite confident.

Physical Description: Yuri is very tall. She is 6'2. Due to the harmless radiation kn her planet she has a light blue skin color. She had long black hair that is pencil thin and falls and an inch below her shoulder blades. She has a very petite figure. She is very skinny and only weighs 95 pounds. Her eyes are a sea foam green color. She has cute little freckles that extend horizontally across her nose and cheek bones. She normally wears a skin tight, black leather suit.

History: Yuri Tii had a very good child hood. She was a fun loving child and always played in the exotic jungles of her home planet, Radatia. Radatia had eventually came to war with a another far off planet. As a result the aposing planet launched a gigantic nuclear bomb at Radatia. Due to this event, 2/4 of the planets population was whiped out. Along with Yuris parents. She was no longer the fun loving girl anymore.

Name: Kiri

Age:
19

Nickname:
n/a

Role:
Muscle

Personality:
Bestial at best. Kiri was born and raised in a savage environment devoid of civilization.

Physical Description:
Kiri is not exactly very tall, nor thickly built, but her abhuman birth has made her unnaturally strong for her frame. Standing at about five feet eight inches tall, she seems rather unremarkable, her ashen blonde hair making her almost seem innocent until she opens her mouth, which houses a carnivore's set of fangs rather than normal teeth. Pale, ice blue eyes carry a piercing glare that threatens even many large predators of her homeworld, though normal humans often mistake it as a 'cute' attempt at ferocity.

History:
The story of Tundellag is a bloody one. During colonizaiton into deep space, several human vessels fell off course. The Vagrant Star, was one such ship; caught in a star's gravity well, the captain jettisoned some non-essential compartments of the ship, the only way to escape death. Firing the engines hard, they barely escaped, instead slingshotting themselves out of orbit, and control. The Vagrant Star crash landed on an as of yet uncharted world. The uncharted world of Tundellag was an inhospitable one; covered in little more than sand and great predators. It was at an unnatural rate that the survivors of the crash developed, evolving to the point they could survive not only the harsh atmosphere, but also the natural poisons, venoms, and claws of the planet's inhabitants. It was nearly two centuries later that other humans finally came to recover the SOS beacon, barely rescuing the local humans. The human population of Tundellag was near extinct, extirpated across most of the planet's surface. Kiri is one such human, with no place to go, and no understanding of society, she turned to what work she could find, since apparently humans needed to work, and got into the smuggling business. Even amongst society's rejects, Kiri doesn't entirely fit in, often misinterpreting intentions. Without the common sense possessed by her 'kin', Kiri often relies on others to make decisions for her, which does not always turn out for the best.

(Humans of Tundellag have naturally shorter life spans, and are entirely carnivorous, incapable of digesting vegetables after going centuries without. Physically superior by birth, though they unfortunately find themselves lacking in 'street smarts'. Evolution happened at an incredibly accelerated pace on Tundellag, brought about by the bizarre atmosphere, and incredible levels of danger.)

sorry hobo, but after careful consideration i cannot accept your character. if you'd like to know the full reasons you can pm me.

after consulting my notes... this would actually screw with some major plot points...

(I literally have 2 spiral notebooks dedicated to this rp)
