Once Upon a time, there were two kingdoms that lived in perfect harmony. There was the Ourian* Kingdom, ruled over by King Marcus and Queen Anna, and there was the Lobelia* Kingdom, ruled over by King Gray and Queen Ji Hyo. The kings and Queens were the best of friends; when both royal families learned that each other was expecting, they all were ecstatic. When the time came, Queen Anna gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Jessica, and Queen -Insert Name Here- gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl named Victoria. Who knew the two girls would grow up to hate each other?


Princess Jessica resented Princess Victoria because of her poise and grace, while Princess Victoria envied Princess Jessica for her beauty and charm. Their parents were devastated when their children didn't get along. They stopped seeing each other as often because the two girls would erupt in yelling and arguing.


The two girls grew up far away from each other until one day, when the Lobelia Kingdom was attacked by the ruthless Amines* Kingdom. The Lobelia kingdom lost everything and were forced out of their homeland. Taking pity on their old friends, King Marcus and Queen Anna took in the Royal family and their refugees; forcing Jessica and Victoria to live together.


How will the two princesses fare living with each other? And what will happen when a prince comes in town that steals both their hearts?

The servants and guards were bustling around the Ourian palace, getting everything ready for when the royal families woke up. The personal servants to all of the royal family members were in the kitchen, grabbing the royal's morning teas and drinks. Avery placed the cup of chocolate milk onto her tray for Jessica. She smiled at the others.


"Good Morning." She said to all of them.


Jessica yawned as she woke up. She sat up and stretched her arms with a yawn. She looked around her large room with a sigh.


"Where is Avery?" She asked herself in her groggy morning voice.


Marcus and Anna were already awake and dressed, waiting for Cho and Levi to arrive with their morning tea.


Bae sighed as he watched the guards bustling around, looking for weapons and armor and other such things.


"Guys you should have had this stuff an hour ago." He complained. Kenji gave Bae an apologetic smile.


"Sorry dude. I was helping Cho this morning with her chores." Bae rolled his eyes


"Yeah yeah just hurry up. " He said. Kyomi walked up next to Bae.


"So where am I posted today?" She asked.


"Your on village patrol." Kyomi groaned.


"Aw come on really?" Bae nodded


"Yes really Kyomi. The villagers like you believe it or not." Kyomi crossed her arms.


"Whatever...."


Elliot-Rose was in the garden snipping dead flowers and weeds, tending to the garden before going to tend to the horses. She sighed happily as she walked through the garden of exotic and beautiful flowers.


Krystal sighed as she got up extra early to make sure all of her fabrics and other things were ready for her visit to the palace today to take measurements from the Queens and Princesses for new dresses.

" Make sure that the furniture is thoroughly dusted! ", Hyorin proclaimed as she fluffed the living room pillows and wiped clean the furniture. " The floors should be spotless and shined! Windows should be sparkling clean! We don't want to disappoint the royal families, do we? ", she asked as she continued to clean while the other workers obediently followed her orders. Despite being young, Hyorin knows what she's talking about, she is, after all, the daughter of the former head maid, Kim Yuna.


Mika was making her way towards Ji Hyo and Gary's room with Zhang Pai walking quietly along side her. Although they weren't best friends, they viewed one another as siblings. In Mika's hands, she held a silver tray of croissants and coffee while Zhang Pai had a tray of freshly cut fruits and toast with butter. Their silence was comfortable, not tense at all, especially since Zhang Pai was gracious enough to inform her of her life when she awoke in the morning.


Entering Gary and Ji Hyo's room, they bowed politely before setting the trays down on their bedside tables and then proceed to gather their clothing for the day. " Mika, how are you feeling, dear? ", Ji Hyo asked with a motherly smile on her face. Mika shyly looked at her feet as she replied, " I am well today, Your Majesty ". Gary, on the other hand, yawned and slung his arm around Ji Hyo. " It's so early... ", he whined, burying his face into his wife's neck. Zhang Pai smiled, " Some coffee will wake you up, sir ", he said as he poured two cups of the freshly brewed coffee. Dismissed for now, Zhang Pai and Mika exited the room and went their separate ways, not before saying goodbye though.


Mika made her way to the kitchen and grabbed a bowl of fresh fruit and a cup of water before making her way to the location where all the guards meet. She shyly looked down at her feet as she walked around, but also kept an eye out to not bump into anyone. She was looking for Bae, from what Zhang Pai had told her Bae is her boyfriend, she did remember various events with him, so she believed her coworker with ease. However, as she looked for Bae, a couple of guards were checking her out with the confidence that her loss of memory would work in their advantage.


But, their mischievous and advances weren't going to work, not with Lilly on watch. Just as one of the soldiers went to grab Mika around the waist, Lilly had cut between them, firmly grasping onto the soldier's wrist and twisted it behind his back with murder written in her eyes. " Try that again with Mika and so help me, the soldiers will be cleaning your remains ", Lilly hissed before shoving the soldier towards his friends, who then ran off. Then, she turned her attention towards Mika, who looked surprised but smiled with gratitude.


" I hope Victoria is okay... ", Lu Chu whispered to herself as she carried a tray with a cup of freshly brewed tea and a small circular plate with a piece of sliced toast with butter on it. She was making her way towards Victoria's bedroom, but as she walking down the hall, a worker had blocked her way. " Please move ", she ordered with a cold look, but the man only smirked down at her. Cockily, he asked, " Why should I? I just want to talk and each time, you blow me off ". Lu Chu sighed deeply and tried to walk around him, but the man just continued to block her way.


As for Zhang Pai, he had instantly gone to visit Fang Hua, who was teaching the children in front of the castle, she had a cute, mini garden set up thanks to Jung Hwa, Ai Min, and Hime. Fang Hua happily smiled and laughed as she told the children stories and taught them how to count and say their alphabets. Despite Fang Hua being dating Kenji, Zhang Pai personally didn't care and would always spend his time with her, besides, he didn't like Kenji all too much. While watching her teach, a loving smile lit up his features, even if he knew that her heart didn't belong to her, she still kept his. " And then a dragon, courageous and strong, flew across the sky granting refreshing rainwater to the drought filled land. The crops sang with joy and sprung up with life and the people let out cries of thanks and worshiped the dragon, who returned to his cavern high in the mountains, where he would await until the people needed him once more ", Fang Hua said with a joyful twinkle in her eyes as she exaggerated her movement to tell the story while the children laughed and smiled.


Jung Hwa and Ai Min were fixing up one of the flowers beds, the pair were smiling and quietly whispering to one another with love filled expressions. While Ai Min was watering the flowers, Jung Hwa was planting budding flowers and treating them with great care. Hime, who had come to visit, was carrying a basket of freshly harvested bouquets that she brought with her from her shop in the village. Briefly, she greeted the couple, before continuing her way through the garden to enter the castle. Humming all the way as she walked, workers who saw her, happily greeted the princess turned villager and she gladly returned their greetings.


" Okay...if I aim correctly then... ", Lau quietly mumbled as he aimed to throw a tomato at TingZhe's head from his spot on top of the castle walls. Heck, he and Lou were bored, so why not throw a tomato at TingZhe, who became one of their new best friends. " Don't try to miss this time either, bro ", Lou stated with a smirk as he flung a tomato at the passing by TingZhe, who shouted up at the snickering twins. Lu Xun, Chun Hei, and Tai were just happen to be passing the castle walls to enter the castle saw the scene, which humiliated TingZhe to no end. Chun Hei was instantly by his side, cooing and trying to help him, while Lu Xun and Tai were doing their best to not howl with laughter as they continued making their way to the castle, only then did Tai's face returned emotionless.

Bae ran over to where Mika and Lilly were. He took Mika's hands and looked at her with a worried expression.


"Mika are you alright? Did they hurt you?" He asked, pushing a strand of hair behind Mika's ear.


Bae had sent Leo to go grab some swords from the weapon storage house. He was walking down the castle hallways when he spotted Lu Chu and some guy. Leo groaned. Not this dude again. He walked up to the two and Leo cleared his throat.


"Excuse me but I believe that she said no the first time. So why don't you go and do your job hm?" He said, in a not so nice tone.


Elliot-Rose saw Hime walking up and she smiled at her. She stood and bowed her head.


"Hello Mrs. Lee." She said politely. She may be a villager now, but she is still royal blood. And Elliot-Rose would treat her as such.


Kyomi went over to Soul and Tai to greet them.


"Hello and Welcome to the Ourian Palace." She said "I assume you're here to meet with the King and Queen?"

Blushing brightly, Mika smiled and nodded her head before sullenly looking down at the ground. " I dropped the fruits and water I brought for you... ", she said with a frown. Lilly rolled her eyes at the couple's antics, honestly, she didn't understand why people fall in love. Giving Mika one final pat on the head, Lilly excused herself and went to go finish setting up her equipment for the day.


The worker glared at Leo, but listened, not without sending Lu Chu one final smirk before he made his way down the hall. Lu Chu sighed deeply and hesitantly looked at Leo, trying her best to ignore the rapid pounding of her heart. " Thank you, Leo ", she said before looking back ahead of herself and continued making her way to Victoria's room, desperately trying to not look back at Leo and to not blush.


" Oh, Elliot-Rose ", Hime giggled, " Please, just call me Hime. I gave up my royalty to be with my husband and I would prefer to be treated without any kind of formality ". She took a beautifully blossomed orchid from the basket and held it out to her.


" Yes please ", Lu Xun replied with a smile, " My name is Lu Xun Eu Min and this is my companion, Tai Kaneko. My younger sister, Chun Hei Eu Min, is helping someone over there ". Tai boredly looked around, he wasn't too impressed by anything.

Bae smiled warmly and kissed her forehead.


"Its alright Mika." He said. "As long as your ok." He smiled gave her a hug.


Leo nodded


"Of corse." He said, before continuing to the other guards.


Elliot-Rose nodded and smiled, taking the orchid.


"Thank you." She said.


Kyomi nodded


"Right, Well their meetings wont start until 11 am. So if you come back around then we can get you an audience with them. Until then are you situated in one of our inns or taverns?" She asked.


Chin Ho smiled as he approached Lilly.


"Good Morning Lilly." He said to her happily.

Although hesitant, Mika returned the hug, resting her head on his chest as she slowly melted into his hold. A couple of guards glared at Bae with envy as they continued working and prepping themselves. " Bae, can you tell me how long we have been a couple? ", she asked him after slightly pulling away from the hug but remained in his hold.


Letting out a breath of relief, Lu Chu quickly entered Victoria's room and placed the tray on the small bedside table before closing the door behind her. She sat down in a wooden chair next to Victoria, doing her best to regain her breath while Victoria eyed her carefully as she took a delicate sip of her tea.


Hime smiled at Elliot-Rose before continuing her way into the castle, humming all the way. She was visiting since her children were in front of the castle listening to a story being told by Fang Hua. " Good morning, Hyorin ", she greeted the head maid, who smiled brightly. " Hey Hime! Shall they be expecting you and your family for breakfast? ", she asked with excitement. Hime thought about it for a moment before nodding and continued exploring the castle.


" Yes, thank you for asking ", Lu Xun answered with a smile while Tai scoffed. The silent young man looked past Kyomi before looking at Lu Xun and whispering something before he walked deeper into the village, not without grabbing Chun Hei by the hand and pulled her away. Lu Xun chuckled before nodding his head, " We'll be back at around 12 pm. Sorry, my friend here...isn't one to be around much people. We'll see you later then ", he said before following after Tai and Chun Hei.


Lilly raised an eyebrow at Chin Ho's happy mood, still she refrained from blushing and gave him a brief, small smile in return. " Good morning, Chin Ho. Why are you so happy today? ", she asked with her hands placed on her hips.

Bae gave Mika a sad smile.


"Almost a year." He said. "It will be a year in two weeks." He kissed Mika's head affectionately.


Jessica sighed as she walked through the hallways with Avery.


"What's on the agenda today?" She asked. Avery took out a small note pad and began to read off a list of things.


"Well there's breakfast, duh, then at 9 am you have a history lesson with your tutor. At 12pm you have another music lesson with her teacher. You'll be picking a new instrument today so think of what you would like to play. Lunch is at 1pm Then at 3pm you have a dress fitting with Krystal. And that's it." She smiled and closed the note pad. Jessica nodded


"Alright then. Avery, what do you think about the flute?" She asked. Avery smiled


"Its a very beautiful instrument." She said. Jessica nodded with a smile.


"I think I'll take up the flute then." She said.


Chin Ho shrugged


"I figure If I make myself be happy, then I'll just be happy for the rest of the day by default." He said with a chuckle.

Mika confusingly looked at him when she saw how sad his smile looked. But, she nodded her head and hesitantly leaned up to quickly plant a kiss on Bae's lips before smiling at him ad rested her her head on his shoulder. A blush was adorning her cheeks as she walked out while the guards were surrounding Bae and patting him on the back or cheering him on, but instantly shut up when they saw Lilly glaring daggers at their heads.


Hime was making her way to Ji Hyo and Gary's room when she saw Jessica and Avery. " Good morning, Princess Jessica, Avery ", she greeted them with a smile on her face before offering them both two of her flowers. " How are you two on this morning so far? ", she asked. Many could say that Hime is far different from Victoria. While the older princess turned villager is an absolute sweetheart with a heart of gold who will help anyone, Victoria is to the book and very proper, she won't do anything that isn't ladylike.


" By 3:30 pm, you will be free, Princess Victoria ", Lu Chu said as she looked through the list before placing it on Victoria's bedside table, " I will leave you to dress ". With a swift, perfect 90 degree bow, she left Victoria in her room and wandered about the halls for a while before finally settling in visiting Lilly for a while. She cautiously looked around in hopes of avoiding Leo, her heart would rapidly pound in her chest whenever she was around him and she knows she has romantic feelings towards him, however, her duty belongs in protecting and serving Victoria, she couldn't let her emotions get in the way at the moment.


After glaring at the soldiers, she returned her attention to Chin Ho, slightly intrigued. " That's a nice point of view ", she complimented him with a smile, slight red hue adorning her cheeks. ' God Damn my fucking heart ', she thought to herself, doing her best to not strangle herself at the moment. ' Gotta remember there's a whole war going on, I can't fall in love ', she thought with panic but still smiled brightly at Chin Ho.


" Okay, kids ", Fang Hua called the children's attention, " It's time to go to the village to your parents. I'll meet with you all at the village center for drawing lessons ". The children squealed with delight before rushing to their parents while Fang Hua smiled at Himiko, Sunmi, and Shen who quickly smiled back and greeted her before walking off to the castle to see their mother and grandparents before they would go and help their father at his market. As she packed up her belongings, Zhang Pai walked over to her with a shy, loving smile on his face. " Fang Hua.... ", he timidly called her, but it was loud enough for the bubbly girl to hear him. " Zhang Pai! How are you? ", she asked with a smile on her face as she gave him a quick hug. " Are you feeling well? ", she asked him. A crimson colored blush covered his cheeks as he smiled at her, " I...I...I'm fi-fine, Fang Hua ", he stuttered. Even if she has a boyfriend, Zhang Pai didn't care, just as long as he stayed by her side.

Bae smiled and waved to Mika as she walked off. As the guys surrounded him he just chuckled and walked out of the circle.


"Get back to work everyone." He turned to Kyomi "Oi! Head out to the village will ya?" Kyomi pouted.


"Fine. I'll see you later." She said before grabbing her sword and heading off to the village.


Jessica smiled as she took the flower.


"Fine thanks Hime. We were just on our way to breakfast. Will you being joining us?" She asked. Avery smiled and took the flower gratefully.


Leo was handing out swords to everyone when he caught eye of Lu Chu. He smiled and handed the swords off to an underling before walking over to her. He smiled


"Hey." He said.


Chin Ho nodded


"Yeah. Maybe you should try it sometime. You always seem to be in a mood." "Fuck I shouldn't have said that..." He instantly thought to himself.


Kenji sighed and looked down at his watch. He called out to Bae.


"Bae I'm heading out to the village. I'll check in around noon!." He said and began jogging to Fang Hua's school grounds. Once there, he saw Zhang Pai with Fang Hua and he instantly became protective. He knew of Zhang Pai's feelings and there was no way in hell he would let Zhang Pai take Fang Hua away from him. He walked up with a smile and wrapped his arms around Fang Hua.


"Hello my darling." He said to her lovingly before placing a gentle kiss on her lips.

Mika was still heavily blushing for the interaction she had with Bae, yet, she still smiled, a part of her felt as though it was right, the other half was still confused about the whole situation. Her having short term memory was something that she already knew, all these different relationships was what confused the living out of her. Nonetheless, she made her way to Ji Hyo and Gary's room, it was her turn to walk them down to breakfast while Zhang Pai went off to visit Fang Hua. As she made her way through the halls, she saw Victoria walking to the dining hall without Lu Chu, which isn't unusual.


Hime smiled and shrugged her shoulders. " I'm not quite sure yet. If Victor needs my assistance at the market, then I'm afraid I won't be able to say. I only came to say my greetings ", she sincerely answered. Himiko, Sunmi, and Shen came bounding down the hall with excited smiles on their faces. They all hugged the legs of their mother, grinning happily up at Jessica and Avery.


Freezing, Lu Chu tensed up at Leo's voice. Her heart began to rapidly pound in her chest and nearly out of her throat. A part of her felt ecstatic that he bothered to notice her, however, the other part of her was in despair for her sneaking around had failed. But, as a properly raised young woman, Lu Chu turned around gave Leo a blank expression, holding back the smile that tried to fight its way to show. " Hello, Leo ", she greeted him, " Is something wrong? ".


Lilly frowned deeply, her once kind eyes turned into a cold glare towards Chin Ho. With a huff, she spun on her heel and walked away from and towards a group of soldiers who were horsing around, failing to get ready for their guard duty. ' A mood?! ', she screamed in her thoughts, ' Ugh... at least now I know that he thinks of me as nothing more than a stupid always moody, bossy soldier '. A part of her heart broke, but the other half felt a slight relief. At least now, she could attempt, and most likely fail, in trying to get over her crush on Chin Ho.


" Hey, Oppa ", she cooed as she leaned into his embrace. Zhang Pai, on the other hand, only glared at Kenji before offering Fang Hua a smile. To say that Zhang Pai doesn't like Kenji would be a lie. He despises him for taking Fang Hua away from her rightful spot beside him. Yet, he would rather have Fang Hua happy than to take that away from her, so he allows their relationship. Doesn't mean he has to like it. " He...Hello, Ken...Ke...Kenji ", Zhang Pai stuttered out with a forced smile of friendliness.

Jessica smiled and nodded


"Well we'd love to have you there." She said. She smiled down at the children. "Hello there kids. How are you this morning?" She asked.


Leo blushed slightly and rubbed the back of his neck.


"I was wondering if um....You wanted to go and grab something to eat sometime."


Chin Ho groaned.


"Damn it..." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. Bae walked up to him and patted him on the back.


"You shouldn't have said that." He said. Chin Ho rolled his eyes and nodded


"I know, I know...."


Kenji smiled


"Hello Zhang Pai." He said before turning back to Fang Hua. "I've got village duty today. Wanna meet me at the tavern for lunch?" He asked.

" Great, Princess Jessica! ", Himiko proclaimed with joy while her younger siblings gleefully nodded their heads. " Fang Hua told us an awesome story! ", Shen added while Sunmi finished his sentence, " She always tells us awesome stories! ".


Lu Chu stared at him for a couple of seconds, she desperately wanted to say yes, but she had to take care of Victoria, that is her top priority. She opened her mouth to speak before closing it and her cheeks turned a scarlet red. Shyly, she tucked some hair behind her ear, " I... ", she cleared her throat, " I have to check with Victoria first ".


" Huh? ", Hyorin popped up behind Chin Ho and Bae. " You mean he just ruined his chances with Lilly? ", she asked, " Well that isn't good. Last I heard from her, she was trying to find a reason to get over him since she thinks that she no time for love with her schedule ".


Smiling brightly, Fang Hua nodded her head and rested her face in the crook of his neck while Zhang Pai fidgeted uncomfortably. He wished that he wasn't so shy so that he would have been the one to confess to Fang Hua first instead of Kenji.

Jessica smiled


"Yes, Fang Hua has always been a good story teller." She giggled. "Well If you'll excuse me I must be off to breakfast with my family. I shall see you later though yes?"


Leo smiled and nodded


"Yeah of corse. Just get back to me when you figure it out." He said.


Chin Ho spun around abruptly.


"What?!" Bae tired to calm Chin Ho down.


"Hey, bud its ok. I'm sure you still have a chance."


Kenji smiled happily. He kissed the top of Fang Hua head.


"Alright, I'll see you around lunch then sweetheart." He gave her one last peck on the lips before nodding at Zhang Pai.


"Good to see you again Zhang Pai." He said flatly before heading off to his first outpost.

Hime nodded, " I will make a brief visit before returning to the village ", she answered, " I hope to see you later then ". She then walked off to go find Victoria with Himiko, Sunmi, and Shen running after her while they giggled and spoke aloud with joy.


" Mhm, bye then ", Lu Chu spoke quickly before she scurried off towards Lilly. Her face was a vibrant red color and it was more than obvious, if you looked closely, that she was flustered by Leo's presence, she has always just been very good at concealing. When Lilly saw her, she gestured for the soldiers around her to leave while she and Lu Chu spoke in private.


Smiling, Hyorin told them, " Yeah! Lilly has liked Chin Ho since she first came, she just never said anything. Last I heard too, is that some soldier named Timothy also has a thing for her and he's a commanding officer. A lot of people thought that they would be a couple since they're of the same ranking and are fairly close. But, I always thought that you and her would have been a cute couple ".


Happily sighing, Fang Hua watched as he left before turning her attention towards Zhang Pai, who was flustered, not that she noticed, all she saw was the redness of his face. "Are you sick, Zhang Pai? ", she asked before pulling him by the arm into the castle to take him to the first aid station. Just as when they were children, she always took care of him.

Jessica smiled and nodded to Hime before continuing to walk to the dinning hall. Once there she walked in and took her usual seat at the east end of the table where her parents were sitting. She smiled at them.


"Good morning Mother, Father." Her parents smiled.


"Good morning darling." Marcus said.


"Sleep well?" Anna asked. Jessica smiled


"I did. And you?" They nodded


"Fine." They said in unison.


Leo smiled and watched Lu Chu as she walked away. He went back to his work, giddily giggling.


Chin Ho raised an eyebrow.


"Timothy? I've never heard of the dude." Bae nodded


"Neither have I. And If he's the commander of the Lobelia kingdom I would have known about it."

Ji Hyo and Gary came down with smiles on their faces. " Good morning ", they greeted their friends before taking a seat across from them. Victoria came in shortly after. Politely, she curtsied, " Good morning ", she said before taking a seat next to her mother.


Hyorin shook her head, " He's currently on expedition ", she clarified, " Should be back by tomorrow ".

Jessica smiled at Ji Hyo and Gary, but when Victoria walked in her smile turned into an irritated grimace. She looked away from Victoria and waited for Peter to come out with breakfast.


Peter was bustling in the kitchen, trying to get all the breakfast on the plates. He sighed and called out to one of sue chefs.


"Becca! Where are the strawberries?"


Bae nodded


"I see...." He said, thoroughly confused as to why he hadn't met this Timothy person.

Victoria gave Jessica the best fake smile she could muster before sitting up properly and kept her hands folded neatly on top of her lap.


" Besides ", Hyorin continued to speak without being able to be stopped, " Lilly has always had a thing for Chin Ho since she arrived, sadly, she's so darn stubborn that she refuses to acknowledge her feelings. Just man up and do something about her unsure feelings ".

Peter came out with a large tray of waffles with strawberries, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream. His sue chef Becca came out with a large tray of assorted drinks such as coffee, milk, orange juice, the usual. Peter smiled as he gave everyone their plate of food.


"This morning we have Belgium waffles with strawberries and strawberry sauce along with whipped cream. We have a chose of coffee, milk, orange juice, and hot and cold tea for your drink." Jessica smiled.


"Becca could I get a glass of milk?" She asked. Becca smiled and nodded to Jessica.


"Of corse your highness." She said, walking over and pouring Jessica a glass of milk.


"We'll both take coffee." Marcus said to Becca, referring to himself and Anna. Becca nodded


"Of corse." She said, pouring the two their coffee. "Sugar or cream?" She asked.


"Sugar and cream for me." Anna said.


"Nothing for me." Marcus said. Becca finished making both of them their cups of coffee going over to Ji Hyo, Gary, and Victoria.


"And for you your majesties?" She asked.


Chin Ho gave an exasperated sigh.

" Two cups of warm tea please ", Gary requested kindly while Ji Hyo smiled in greeting. Victoria smiled politely, " Coffee with sugar and cream please ". Soon, Hime had walked through the dining room doors with Himiko, Shen, and Sun skipping behind her while adorably giggling. Apologetic, she curtsied while she spoke, " Do forgive us for coming late, but I had to check on my husband ".


Lau and Lou came up behind Chin Ho suddenly. " What? Good ol' Chin Ho ruined his chances with Lilly? ", Lou asked. At that, Lau snapped his fingers, " That explained why she looked so pissed and sad when we saw her talking to Lu Chu. What did you say to her, bud? ". Lou answered before Chin Ho had a chance to say anything, " Wasn't it something about her attitude or something? ", Lau shrugged in reply.

Becca nodded and poured the three their drinks. When Hime and her children came in, Anna and Marcus smiled.


"It's fine Hime, please sit." Anna said.


Chin Ho sighed.


"I didn't mean it as an insult. Its just she always seems to be so uptight about something...."

" Thank you, your majesties ", Hime said with a smile while her children bowed and curtsied before quickly greeting Ji Hyo, Gary, and Victoria before taking their seats. The flash of slight jealousy and envy from Victoria's eyes glimmered for a moment before disappearing all together.


Lau and Lou chuckled, " Well, being the only female commander does make one uptight. Soldiers are out to take her position ", they informed Chin Ho. Lou then added on slyly, " But, her crush on you is genuine. We've known the gal for years ". Lau nodded in agreement, " The lass is smitten by ya ".

"So, how was everyone's morning?" She asked, sending a nasty look towards Lu Chu.

Victoria ignored her, while Ji Hyo and Gary politely replied, well, Ji Hyo did. " I woke this morning and it was awesome! The sun was calling me to go outside and play some sports... but, Ji Hyo denied my request and told me that I should be more focused on more important things. Sports is very much important... ", he muttered, but shrunk when he saw Ji Hyo's light, but very loving glare. Smiling, Ji Hyo told Jessica, " Lovely actually. Mika is such a sweetheart, bless her heart. Victoria, what about you? ". Reluctantly, Victoria replied, " All was well this morning. I am looking forward to today's events ". Hime was unable to reply since she was busying making sure that her children weren't causing trouble.


" Fine, don't believe us ", the twins said with a shrug before Lau grasped onto Hyorin's hand and skipped off to who knew where, Lou rolled his eyes while following after them.
