I will have an introductory soon. If not tonight then tomorrow. I want to get a solid read of the area surrounding Inland Breech so I don't create to many start-game mulligans.

No doubt. I really want to get a solid read on the Abyssals too... to make your exaltation extra special :D
 
For some reason I get the feeling that for Yuuma, he would end up being called "The Gentle Touch of Death" or something suitably twisted for him.
 
Looking forward to this, though not sure what Rondo would end up getting called.
 
I'm not too worried about my new name. I imagine that will come to me in game. I would think most of our names would, but that's just me.

Yar Har! I apologize on the delay. I had a huge presentation that I had to do for class and work is pretty busy being the only IT person there.


However, I have finished what I needed to read about the north. Sorry for the delay I Just wanted the first post to be robust. You guys still here?


The post will be up during the middle of the day tomorrow, during my lunch break :D


I am actually pretty excited about this game. I have been reading a lot of different material for it.
 
I am here, and I am eagerly awaiting the post. I, too, am looking forward to the game. Let the angst begin!!!

I will have the layout of the town up tonight. I cannot draw a map at work, for that is madness. Also, feel free to ask about anything I missed, maybe more detail about the surrounding area... I kinda wrote the introductory up pretty quickly. Not a lot of time this week, but finals are next week and after that its going to be high-octane updates from now on.
 
Yeah, so imagine there is a west gate there :P


I will photoshop one in later. If we don't have the other two people post by tomorrow morning I am going to push forward with your guys actions. I would do it now, but its midnight. To bed with me!
 
Fair warning, I may be without net access for a couple days. However there is a chance I may have it as well. So sorry in advance if my replies take time to get posted.

I think I missed a few key things to keep you guys strung together while you traverse the town, as well as many of the town aspects. This shall be in an update later, maybe an hour or two from now when I get off work.
 
Sorry for the weekend long silence, again its finals week this week. So up until Thursday its going to be sparse updates here and there.


I will be updating tonight, possibly at noon.
 
I am leaving for Gen Con tomorrow afternoon, so tonight will be the last time I will be able to post with any regularity. I may be able to check whilst at Gen Con, but don't count on it. If I do check, it's going to be from my iTouch, so typing will be something of a pain in the ass. That doesn't mean I won't check, but I can't promise I will be able to post. Just so everyone knows....

Ok, got my update in... hopefully it should be a little smoother... two more days of this :P

Also, I am sort of using the tower as a 'meeting point' if that isn't obvious already. Just to give a small spoiler of the games nature. This is like the introductory town of the game. After this and more specifically after your deaths and exaltation, this game is going to be 'sand box'. I hate to rail road things unless it is absolutely crucial I get a story point across. That is not to say that strings will not be pulled and a much larger over-arching story will be involved while you travel creation. But keep in mind you never have to do anything if you don't want to...


It's just impossible to think of a way to get Yumma to meet you guys, outside of being in the same room at some point and being joined up. though Yumma will have an alternative way of meeting you guys and if Kaelen does not follow Rondo, he will also, by the way of fates.. be matched up with you guys...


or AGAINST you guys. Dun Dun DUn.


I mean really, if say Rondo stabbed Kaelen in the chest, it just means you get to the exaltation part sooner :P
 
I have neglected you my Death Knights. I have my last final tonight, so I have been pretty busy all week. Update to come tonight.

Prepare for incoming monologue from Furl, can you say "Wall-O-Text"? Because... that's whats gonna happen.
 
So, I am going to mess with exaltation canon a little bit here. Just FYI, but if there is something amiss I want you to still call it out. I am not as familiar with Abyssal's besides all the fluff in the main Abyssal's book. What I understand is you Exalt like a Solar would, and then you are retrieved by the DeathLord, then you are trained for a few years and then you are submitted when ready to the Neverborn. Am I correct on this?

Also, if Meshif doesn't let us know that he is going to be gone for awhile, the end of this month I am going to try to find another Abyssal player. Is this ok with you guys? Is this to much time, to little time? Again I am new to PbP games so...


EDIT: Meshif, if you are going to be out for an extended period of time, just letting us know on here or PMing me will alleviate the booting you issue. Also you are free to come back, but if you are replaced and haven't responded by the time you come back.. you shall return as something else. MWHAHAHA
 
Well, actually Black Exaltation is much more controlled. Deathlords get to choose who they exalt because they control the shards via Monstrances. They generally watch people who have talent or drawn their attention. They then wait patiently for a moment they are about to die, either from bad luck or engineered by them. At the moment right before death they or their agent approaches them with the offer of power.


I have no issue with finding another player, but only after we could get some confirmation from Meshif or after a time you choose. I would like to keep this game going as much as possible.
