Angel doesn't have the urge to please or be accepted. He is a true sociopath, who knows he can have whatever he wants. He isn't one to lose sleep over a woman. You say most men would be wounded over a woman, but Angel isn't like most men, is he?

I get Alex loves Conor, but doesn't she hold any resentment for what the Sullivans did to her mother? She seemingly has no idea who Emmet was. All she knows was that he orchestrated her murder. For some reason it bothers me that she doesn't seem to care.Had the perfect gif to go with my last post and for some reason it woudnt work

For me, none of Alex's anger stemmed from her love for Conor. She doesnt care that Emmet was killed, she had no value for his life. Her anger is because she had been told they were going to a meeting to make peace, it didnt work out and instead of going back to how it was before, Vinnie declared war between the two families. So she see's this as him putting business infront of the well being off her family and she knows that the people she cares about will get hurt or die in whats to come. She's angry that he had put them all in the firing line without consulting them. She doesnt want this life at all and now she's a perfect target as the Sullivans will retaliate in a way to hurt Vinnie, not just kill him, so she see's that torturing/killing his children would be perfect revenge. Basically to her, when Vinnie killed Emmet he basically numbered her days and ended her life. Like she's not thinking about Conor in that outburst, he had no role to play in that
