Well at the moment she's in the same house as Sinead, Declan and Shannon. Declan isn't very responsive - maybe it's the drugs, ha! But she could have some interaction with Sinead or Shannon.

I think there's a few other characters who might need a little something to keep them going until the time shift too. I've not forgotten them, just thinking.
Ooooo I may have her visit with Sinead! Have a little sister momentXD
My apologies for stealing James. XD Bellz Bellz
Lucy is pouting:p jk! It's okay...and I'm sure it was for the best, wouldn't want anything to happen there now would we? ;)

I just thought. Alternatively CJ and Tyler could be brought into the plot by CJ getting caught by the CPD and forced to work undercover in the gangs lest he want to go to jail and lose his sister.

Sorry for the absence. I've literally been running to a different city every one-two days. I swear it's nothing illegal, just the first part of my work in China involves an ungodly amount of traveling, and all to shitty places with no wifi.

Really, the problem is I'm a cheapskate and I can't afford to live in a nice place if I'm moving every other day, so... :-_-lines:

I've finally caught a wiff of a good connection on my laptop, so I'm going to see if I can get a post up tonight. Also, I've been reading through everything that's happened so far IC since my last post and...I think I'm going to have to start writing shorter posts if I want to keep up with everyone. How do you do it? Are yeh all witches, eh?

Yay, I'm glad to hear you're still in this. I was worried we'd lost you! I look forward to your post.

I'm not a witch (or am I?!), I just presently have nothing better to do most evenings. ;)

Oh, hmmm....likely story. I'll believe you if you hold onto this large rock and let me toss you into the lake.

Also it would be a shame if...let's say...the CPD got wind of the Romano's shipment and just...happened to send a few men out there. Would be a shame, a mighty shame...but really, can I? Misty Gray Misty Gray Or would that be too on-the-nose, plot wise?

I say go for it. Added drama! :coolshades:

It's too early to be catching them in the act so soon, though.

I totally agree!

I was thinking the CPD would get there in their cop cars, lights and sounds blaring, but fail to catch anyone or anything. And then the next morning the Chicago public is like "what the hell cops, what do we even pay you to do? There are murderers and hooligans running amok in the broad streets and you haven't done a damn thing about it."

...And then the superintendent and other political higher-ups will be like, "shit, send our best men out there to solve ~le crimes~. The people are rioting!" which will push Benny, Dylan, Matthew and Jon to do more street work. Then the CPD characters will get mixed-in more with the Romanos' and Sullivans' business.

That is my proposed way of getting the CPD involved in the conflict between the Romanos and Sullivans. Because so far, I think the CPD characters have been pretty one-sided in who they've been targeting.

But for this to work, I'm going to have to keep Jon at the main office doing paperwork as a useless, busybody lieutenant in my next post. So I shall send a few faceless NPCs your (the Romanos/Sullivans) way. Unless Misty Gray Misty Gray MattS MattS and Axel The Englishman Axel The Englishman , do you want me to assign your CPD characters to the shipment scene so you can have some fun? And then maybe one day, someday, Jon will get to fire a gun. But probably not because he'll shoot himself in the foot.

Trignome Trignome
That all sounds spot on to me! It's pretty much how I'd like things to go down and I want you cop players to have plenty to do in this RP too. Getting them out on the streets more would certainly add more drama. Sergeant Hunter is focused on all of the gangs, not just Romanos, so he'd be right out there with the other CPD characters.

Alrighty then! It's going to be a short post because I have to catch a flight early tomorrow morning.

Here's the breakdown:
  • Lockwood
  • Lockwood's partner in the same division, who has the same shift tonight
  • 4 NPC cops (from drugs/illegal contraband division and/or gang division)
Also, what information do you want the CPD to know/not know? I've been trying to catch up with IC posts, but I'm not too clear on how much the CPD should know.

Alright so, got the post out. I increased the the number of officers a bit, Misty Gray Misty Gray .

I want Jon to have intentionally caused an "overkill" situation. Because nefarious CPD politics. Because nefarious plans. Because...let's have a big party!

Haha...whoops. I meant to write 16, not 6. Just corrected that now. They're coming a bit late to the party, but their lights will be blazing and their horns will be obnoxiously loud.
