Sinead Sullivan

Sinead quietly listened as her father spoke with Lucy about not wanting to give her any tasks to do. She knew her older sister liked helping out with the business and was tough enough to do so, but she preferred to know Lucy would be safe. Sinead couldn't help but smile as Emmet said he was happy with how she was doing and she didn't need to be settling down yet. As long as her family were proud of her without her having to help in the illicit business, Sinead was happy.

When Lucy left them to go into the sitting room, Sinead watched her for a moment before looking back to observe Emmet. Her father was slamming the cupboard doors and she could tell he was feeling stressed. "Hey, dad..." she began, before stepping forward and wrapping her arms around him for a tight hug. "Don't worry," she told him. She closed her eyes as she held on to her father. She hadn't shown it earlier, but she was glad she'd been brought home to her family.

James Porter

James couldn't help but smirk as Luca began talking about what he would do if anyone hurt the Sullivan kids. "I'm right there with you, Luca. As much as I'd happily kill any one of the Romanos right now, we have to wait and see what our boss says." James had learned not to be so impulsive and he knew better than to do anything that could jeopardise Emmet's own plans.

Conor looked to the beer Luca was drinking and smirked. "Yeah, you must be drinking some of the Romanos shitty beer," he remarked, knowing full well he'd intercepted some of Vinnie's alcohol shipments. "Yes, lads, my dad wants to see you both. Don't call him Em though, he doesn't like it and he's already pissed off." Conor then left the pub to get into his own car.

James walked with Luca to his own car, listening as his friend spoke. "I don't always know what I'm doing myself, until it happens," he remarked. He quite enjoyed cruising around the city and being "on-call" for when Emmet needed him. "I expect, or hope, the boss wants to plan how we're going to deal with the Romanos." He unlocked the car so Luca could get in, but inspected all sides of the vehicle before getting in himself. This was a habit of his; part of it was checking for any cosmetic damage and the other part was making sure none of their enemies had been tampering with the vehicle.

((I'll get Luca and James inside the Sullivans place soon, just trying to time things right for everyone! Feel free to have a little more interaction with James for now...))

Vincenzo Romano

Vinnie listened as Alena answered his question about college. He let her finish speaking before he would respond. When she started to say she wanted to be part of the business, frowned slightly. "I would fully support you if you wished to study for a career in medicine. In fact, I'd be very proud," he assured her. He'd much prefer she did something like that than be tangled in his business, which he didn't deny he thought was a man's job. But she had mentioned business, nonetheless. "Perhaps I can think of some ways you can help me without putting your life as risk," he relented. Still feeling bad for offending her regarding her dress, he was willing to compromise, a little.

Alex turned to see one of the Goons talking to Gio and smirked to herself coming up with an idea. Turning to Angelica she gave an apologetic smile "Sorry Angel I have to go home, but we'll meet up tomorrow?" She said before turning away and making her way towards the back exit. She kept her head low, keeping an eye on the goon and Gio to make sure they didn't see her before slipping out the back door and into the darkly lit street. She kept to the shadows as she made her way away from the Casino and onto the next street, away from the sights of her dads goons. By any luck she'd be home first and they'd be a long time looking for her. She grinned as she walked home, it was only a twenty minute walk from here and the light drizzle was refreshing on her skin.
Alex made it to the house before the goons and made her way inside preparing herself for the inevitable argument with her father. She could hear voices from the dining room and listened in to hear her father and Alena discussing including Alena into the family business. She sighed quietly to herself, before walking straight past them and into the kitchen. Alex hated the fact that Alena wanted to get involved, she worried enough about her brothers and father, she didn't want to have to worry about Alena as well. She also didn't want Alena to loose her innocence but there was nothing she could do or say in that regard, Alena was old enough to make her own decisions and Alex would support her no matter what choices she makes. Brushing the thought to the back of her mind she opened the fridge and grabbed out a bottle of white wine, she hadn't had a chance to get a drink tonight and god knows she'd need it for the conversation she was bound to have with her father. Alex filled a glass and made her way into the dining room where her sister and father were eating. She leaned against the door frame not making a sound.

Kitty Avera

Kitty grinned and bounded over to sit beside Sable, her arms winding around her friend's shoulders.

"Oh, Sable, it's been a perfectly awful night out. There were two murders, I'm afraid the Romanos don't like me very much, and look!" She lifted her leg to show her scrapes. "My favorite stockings are ruined!" The wound had stopped bleeding a long time ago, but she thought that the dirt and dried blood around the edges gave it a nice effect. She wasn't seriously hurt at all, but every now and then she liked to tease the other girl, and she never got tired of the attention.

When Sable offered her the bottle of wine, she eyed it for a moment before shaking her head.

"I want to say yes, but I must admit that I may have had a glass of something stronger without eating first. I think I'll take you up on the pasta though," she said.

Declan Sullivan

tumblr_mzpxz1jdEp1rfrctvo1_500.gif
The house was just so full of life tonight, almost enough to make Declan vomit. He'd only just finished screwing this girl he brought back when his father slammed something. "Jesus, dad, you think you'd just lost a bet or something", Declan said to himself. The girl had almost woken up from the noise, but quickly fell asleep again. Fucking lightweight. The heroin wasn't even that good. Neither was the sex, for that matter. Declan sat down, and stared at the woman lying naked in his bed, trying to remember her name. Ah, fuck. Did it start with a C or V? Cassie? Veronica? Does it even fucking matter? No need for him to answer that, and he REALLY shouldn't be talking with himself. But the drugs had a way with his mind, and the conversations just came a-flowing. Deck moved closer, to the point where he could smell his cologne on her body. She ain't that bad looking. Might just keep her around, if nothing more than to slam it in Conor's face, the pompous bastard. He really had no reason to be so upset with his older brother. Well, if you exclude how obvious the favoritism was in the family. The girl stirred, and half-mindedly kissed him. "Hey, sugar, ready for round two?" He smiled, kissing her back. His hands were already groping her breasts, anyways. "Sure thing, baby. But let's wait until afterwards to take another hit, hm?"

Alena's face lit up when he had told her that he would support her if she wanted to do something in the medical business. She was happy that her father said that, it made Alena ease up a bit on what careers to pick. She really wanted her father to be proud of her, it's hard being the youngest and last of the Romano family since there are so many expectations to be held. Alena usually felt overwhelmed and sometimes hopeless that she would never be like her other siblings. Alena finished her pasta and wiped the corner of her lips with the napkin that was near her bowl. When she looked down at the napkin she saw that her lipstick stain had been wiped on. "What were you thinking in terms of that?" She asked her father as she looked at him. Alena put the napkin down when she heard someone walking in. She knew it was Alex since she recognized the sound of her footsteps. Alena waited patiently in her seat, waiting for when her sister would come in.

Alena loved her sister and she looked up to her a lot. When Alena turned her head, she saw that it was her sister indeed who was leaning against the doorframe. "Alex," she said with a smile as she waited for her sister to respond back. Alena knew that there was going to be hell in this dining room since her father had said that he was going to be having a word with Alex when she got back as well.

Vincenzo Romano
Vinnie was glad to see Alena's face light up as they discussed a medical career. He knew it wasn't often he was able to say or decide something that made his kids happy. He had to be strict with them if he had any chance at protecting them. Making them annoyed or upset with him was something he was used to and he accepted it because it kept them safer. When she persisted with regards to helping the family business, he ate the last bit of his food as he nodded his head. "Give me some time to think about that, Alena. I won't be putting you in danger, I can tell you that now," he firmly told her.

Vinnie had heard Alex enter the house but chose to finish his conversation with Alena before showing any acknowledgement of his other daughter's presence. When Alena spoke her sister's name, Vinnie took that as his cue to look up and speak to Alex as well. "Alexandra. Sit down," his voice sounded inviting but at the same time it was clear he was giving her an order. He made a point of glancing to his watch. "Where have you been?" he bluntly asked her. He knew what time her shift had ended so hoped she wouldn't decide to lie about working late.

James Porter

James pulled up outside the Sullivan house and parked his car in one of the spaces outside the front of the building. When he and Luca got out of the car, James walked straight to the front door and opened it so they could step inside. He caught a brief glimpse of Sinead and Emmet, so decided to stay back to avoid disturbing them. He didn't have to stand by the door for long as he turned to see Lucy having a drink in the sitting room. Figuring Luca would join him, he stepped into the room to approach the eldest of Emmet's offspring. His eyes were drawn to her legs in the fishnet stockings, but he quickly regained eye-contact with her. "Evening, Lucy," he greeted her, his face remaining as serious as ever. He managed to hide it well, but all he was thinking about at that moment was how hot the blonde woman was. "What's the current situation, then?" he asked, motioning towards the kitchen where his boss was.

Maite

Maite returned to the bar. A few regulars were waiting patiently and she served them without another word. The young lady suddenly felt very alone. Danny had gone up early...Martzel was sitting quietly in the corner, as he often did when it was getting late. Maite had really wanted things to work out with Violeta, but it seemed like her luck had run short that evening. She watched the door, waiting for something to happen. She half hoped that the suited man would walk in. With Danny occupied upstairs she'd be able to talk without his disapproving glare.

He was about to mutter to Lloyd, but he was already asleep. Smiling, Danny nestled into the chair and closed his eyes. He didn't want to fall asleep but rather just focused on his soft breathing. It didn't take long for sleep to overtake his mind.

Alex smiled at Alena "Laney, hows things?" She asked before taking a drink of her wine, the hadn't moved from the frame as the longer she could put of her Father the better. The peace wasn't long lived as her father basically commanded her to sit down, Alex sat down beside Alena and turned to her dad an angelic smile hiding the devilish smirk which she had been wearing not long before.
"I met with Angelica after work" She said with a shrug. She judged her fathers features carefully and decided against her better judgement as a more serious expression took over her features. "Did you kill the baker and set the bakery on fire" She asked her father.
"Well not you directly but are Romano's behind it?" She added. This was sure to cause a heated argument but at least it would be on a different topic to her sneaking out.

Emmet Sullivan
Emmet was immersed in his cooking, though his method was loud, being the man he is, he was clan about it. While it sounded as if pots and pans were strung everywhere, it was actually the opposite. Emmet cleaned every kitchen tool after he used it, keeping a pristine, perfect kitchen whilst also making good time on preparing his meal.
As soon as he'd started preparing the meal, it stopped. The man was so efficient that within minutes a broth was on the stove and the chicken in the oven, potatoes at the ready. It gave him a distraction from reality. He nearly jumped, however, when Sinead spoke from behind him, and shortly after wrapped her arms around him. Emmet was shocked into immobility, but after a second he smiled, wrapping tough, muscular arms around his daughter. It felt good to feel like his family together again, and the lord only knew how long it had been since Emmet had hugged them. He looked down at her.
"I always worry about you Sinead. Especially now that the last name has caused you trouble." He narrowed his eyes, ruffling her hair a bit as his grip inadvertently tightened. "I'll make sure you're safe."
He looked through the door to see Conor had returned with the others and grinned. Nearly the whole family was together, aside from his wife and Declan. Of course, his youngest son rarely made an appearance, and he and Emmet always seemed to butt heads. As much as Emmet loved his family, he had trouble keeping Declan close, and rarely approved of his son's actions. For but a moment he considered having Sinead notify him about dinner, only to decide against it. If he wanted dinner outside of a greasy bar in the city, he'd have to face his family. Emmet knew, of course, that Declan would never attend, and would pick any greasy bar or even starving than to talk to Emmet.
It was clear to him Declan was trying to get Emmet to kick him to the curb, and as much as Emmet wanted to, he chose to spite his son and keep him around. He had to admit, though, that his will on that was starting to falter. Glancing at the stairs he frowned. He was glad he wasn't actively arguing with his son tonight. If anything could make his black mood sour, it would be Declan.
Emmet looked back at Sinead, though his gaze seemed to go through her, his eyes unfocused, lost in another thought as he spoke.
"Perhaps one night I should come to Whistlers. I'd love to listen to you."

"Murders?! Romanos?! Stockings?!" Sable exclaimed, her voice getting higher pitched with each word. She frowned, a pout forming on her plump, rose red lips. "I think the stockings might be the worst of them all."
Leaning over, Sable inspected her friend's leg.
"Oh!" She cried, running a finger over them, clearly worried. A moment later her brows furrowed. "You nut."
Sable shook her head, laughing.
Once Kitty refused the wine Sable shrugged
"Suit yourself." She said, taking a long sip directly from the bottle. At her friend
Kitty grinned and bounded over to sit beside Sable, her arms winding around her friend's shoulders. At her friend's request, Sable returned to the kitchen, starting to heat the stove.
"In all seriousness though, I'm getting tired of those bloody gangsters around the city." She called from across the house. "I half half a mind to run around the streets with my torch and hood like a madwoman!"
Minutes later Sable returned, plate of pasta in hand and apron tied around her waist. She set it down on the coffee table and put her hands on her hips, a strange sight with two extremely large oven mitts on each hand.
"Kitty dear, I don't want those gangsters to be hurtin' you. I know you're capable but two murders?!" Sable paused and lowered her voice. "Been hearing a lot more of those lately."
She sat down, pulling off each oven mitt and setting them on the table.
"What's the gossip from the town tonight, love?"

Lucy had been looking at the way the sitting room was decorated, noting that her mother had once again redone the whole room when James walked through the door. His eyes were glued to her legs and the smallest of smirks was placed on her lips. "Evening Mr. Porter." She nodded her head towards him and took another long drink. The glass was empty once again and she pouted slightly. She stood up slowly and moved towards the liquor cabinet. "Well it seems like those sniveling Romano's tried to scare my little sister, and daddy wants revenge." Pulling out the bottle of brandy, she poured a glass before deciding that it was best to just take the whole bottle instead. Lucy returned to her seat and took another drink before speaking..."but I feel that would be expected by those shrews." Her green eyes lit up as she smiled at the man. "I have a proposition for you, a 'You scratch my back' deal."

When Alex said she'd met Angelica after work and gave a nonchalant shrug, Vinnie sat forward and sent her a discomforting smile. "Oh, you were with Angelica. I'm sure when I set the rules of this family, I didn't mention being with Angelica was an exception to them."

When his daughter asked if he'd killed the baker, he was about to respond by telling her he'd been nowhere near the bakery all day, but she seemed to anticipate such a response. He knew she was steering the conversation in a different direction, but he decided to indulge her. "I wasn't there, Alexandra. All of my top people were in the Fox's Den with me when it happened," he simply told her. "Of what concern do you think it is to you anyway?" he asked her.

Sinead and Conor Sullivan

When Emmet said he'd make sure she was protected, Sinead faintly smiled. "I know you will," she replied. She had an equally good relationship with her mother, but Sinead tended to find it easier to share her problems with her father as he made her feel safe. She might not approve of his business, but Sinead was definitely a daddy's girl. "I hoped keeping out of the business would mean I wouldn't be of any worry for you," she told him. This was especially true as she knew how much Declan insisted on causing trouble for their parents. She wished her younger brother would try to get along with their parents.

As her father mentioned wanting to see her performing at Whistlers, she took a step back so she could look Emmet in the eyes. She wasn't sure if she felt honoured or embarrassed at the thought of him wanting to watch her sing. She'd always worried her parents would make her nervous and she'd end up messing up her performance so she'd never invited them to watch her. Now her father had actually directly expressed his desire to watch her, she felt more open to the idea. Of course she'd feel a little embarrassed, but it felt good to know her father was genuinely interested in her singing. "I... I would love it if you came to Whistlers," she replied. Her cheeks had turned rosy - the most colour her face had shown all evening; and her bright smile was now a genuine one.

Conor arrived home about ten minutes after Luca and James. On his drive home he'd pulled over to speak with a couple of his cop "friends", who proceeded to inform him that Sinead's apartment had been trashed and a man's body found in the building's elevator. When Conor stepped into the house and saw Sinead talking with her father and smiling brightly, he changed direction and went out of the way so he could take off his shoes and hang his coat up. He took much longer than he needed to as he mulled over things. Seeing Sinead with a smile on her face made him reluctant to announce what the cops had told him. He decided not to say anything whilst his sister was present. He'd managed to get the cops to leave her alone until at least the morning, so she wasn't faced with so many shocks at once.

James took a seat on the sofa opposite Lucy and sat forward as he listened to her speak. His eyes followed her as she got up to find more alcohol. "Yes, I heard about what those assholes had done. Is Sinead alright?" she asked, his concern breaking through his flat tone. As she returned to her seat, he once again had to tear his eyes away from looking at her legs. When she said she had a proposition for him, he sat back in his seat. "A proposition, ey?" he curiously asked. "Do tell..." he said, his lips forming a small smile.

Alex stared at her Father for a minute her eyes squinting, it was hard to tell if she was annoyed or putting it on. She continued to stare at him with the same unimpressed look as she took another drink of her wine, crossing her arms on the table when she put down the glass. "I am 20 years old, I am not a little girl so I can go out with who I like and when I like" She said a serious and challenging tone to her voice. She hated being under lock and key, and even though this was a regular argument between her and her dad she couldn't help herself. "Angelica's not an exception, so she's not on the list of people I can be with?" She asked sarcastically, "I'm sorry do you want me to have any friends and to socialize or do you expect me to stay locked in the house all day, with no contact except you, mom and my siblings, to grow old alone with 20 cats?" She asked him, she knew she was exaggerating but its how she felt. She sighed again giving in slightly as she said the next line to ease the tension "Gio was at the casino" The anger flared up again when she realized saying her brothers name would make it a bit more acceptable for her to be there "He's on my list isn't he, the control Alexandra's life list?" She asked him, venom slightly showing in her tone.
She looked to Alena and then back to her father when he asked her what business is was off hers about the fire. She smirked and laughed, a ridiculously evil laugh with no humour to it, that she saved for her most annoyed moments, " That's complete Bull and you know it, I am apart of this family ain't I so that reason there is what concern it has for me. Also for the fact that it is my concern if my and Alena's life are in danger for a stunt that OUR family pulled" She emphasized the word our to show her Father that it was in fact something she should know, and that she herself was a member of the family and so their antics involved her and her life as well.

Vinnie rolled his eyes as Alex started with the being 20 years old thing. It felt like they were having this discussion more frequently and it never pissed him off any less. "No, Angelica isn't on the list. She has nothing to do with our family business. You can socialise with your friends, but I want to know where you are first and who you are with, then I might allow it." He shook his head as she continued, now mentioning Gio. "Yes, your brother's on the list and maybe he was at the casino. But you didn't go there with him and I'm certain you weren't with him whilst there. You only stated you were with Angelica, so don't throw Gio into the mix."

Alex's antagonistic laughter did nothing for Vinnie's temper and he got up from his chair, looking down at both daughters. When she noted that Romanos business was of her concern, he decided to stop holding back on the subject. "Alright," he began, sharing his attention between Alex and Alena. "Yes, the Romanos were behind what happened at the bakery. The Sullivans have been screwing with us and we're warning them off. We haven't finished yet - not until we've got our message across. Not until the likes of Conor Sullivan truly understand that they've crossed the line." Vinnie's voice was angry and determined. "The Sullivans will retaliate and it will get personal. If you two don't follow the rules, then I don't know where you are, and you open yourselves up to being hurt. You might hate the fact that you don't get to run around the city on your own until all hours of the night and you might hate me for it. But I would rather have two daughters who despise me than see either of you suffer." Vinnie's voice quivered slightly on his last words. "I can't bear to think of either of you being hurt... or worse," he added, his voice less angry.

The moment Luca stepped out of James car and took one step inside the Sullivan household, his personality seemed to shift. He wasn't the same carefree guy that had been speaking with Kate or James, he was the Luca that usually appeared when it came to business, he was the the professional killer and Emmet Sullivan right hand man.

He ignored where James went and went directly to where Emmet seemed to be at, which was the kitchen. He stood by the doorway in the stand by position, watching the interaction between Sinead and Emmet. It wasn't that he wanted to just watch, it was because to him, it was the first time that Emmet had wanted to go see Sinead sing, and he didn't want his presence to make Emmet change his mind, wouldn't do too good. After all Sinead was a great Singer and he felt that his boss should listen to her beautiful voice. Misty Gray Misty Gray Foxy Foxy

Alex scoffed when her father said he might allow it "Might?" She questioned in disbelief. "You might allow it" She questioned in the same tone anger dripping from her words. She opened her mouth to keep talking but quickly shut it when he stood up, she knew this wasn't good, she could basically see his veins pulsating in his head. If she didn't stop now then he'd probably burst a vein and that definitely would not be a good thing. Alex listened carefully to what her father said about the bakery and Conor, nodding to show she was taking it all in. Alex was pleased he was sharing this with her, but the comment about Conor shook her, however she hid this well. Did conor really want to see her, or was she now a pawn to get retaliation? Alex had no idea what she was getting herself into and it scared her a little but she was determined to figure it out and she would tomorrow, trying to push back the fear she downed her glass and walked to the kitchen and grabbed the bottle, whilst in there she grabbed a glass for her father and Alena before making her way back into the dining room. Her anger completely faded when she heard her fathers voice break, she knew he genuinely was worried about them, which in turn worried Alex.
"Wine?" She asked her father and Alena as she poured herself a glass, not giving them time to answer she poured them a glass aswell, if they didnt want it, she'd always drink it. An apologetic smile appeared on her lips as she turned to her father. "I'm sorry about tonight, from now on I will let you know in advance" She said in a sweet tone, turning on her butter wouldn't melt persona which she used around her father to either get her way or to get away with something she had done. "Oh just before I forget, I have to go in for an early shift tomorrow morning, I'm covering for Sabrina " She lied. Alex had an act for lying, she perfected it at a young age and so she had no worries her father would doubt her story, it wasn't unusual for Alex to cover for girls in the diner.
Her father's words about retaliation still stuck with her and she turned to her father with a small smile "How personal are we talking? What have you's done so we are aware of whats going on?"

Alena bit the corner of her lip whenever she was nervous or in a sticky situation. Alena knew that hell was going to break lose through the dining room. Alena had heard a few of the men out front talking about the incident at the bakery, but she never knew that it was her fathers doing. Also to hear that there was blood spilled, that caught her attention. She knew her father was a powerful and dangerous man, which is why deep down he scared her a bit. Alena knew what her father was capable of and it wasn't a surprise to hear this come out of Alex's mouth. When Alena had been kidnapped and then brought back, her father went to the ends of the world to hunt down the men that took Alena. Alena heard how her father ordered the men that took her captive to be killed one by one. Alena till this day, still thinks that it was Emmet Sullivan who ordered his men to take her away.

Alena sat there still as she listened to her sister and father bicker. Alena felt triggered when she heard her sister say that she and Alex might be in danger since now the Sullivan's might or will retaliate. Alena hated violence, but when worst times come if she needs to defend herself then she will. Alena wondered where Monte and Giovanni were, but mostly Giovanni since she and Monte never saw eye to eye and that was the same thing with her father. Alena hoped that none of the boys got hurt, and if they did she would be beyond angry. Alena watched as her father rose from his seat and stared at Alex with such anger that she thought the vein that she saw on him was going to pop. Alena bit the corner of her lip once more and wondered if she should intervene or let them continue discussing. Alena watched as her sister left and then came back in with a glass of wine, Alena knew that drinking wine as strong as that was not a good idea and frankly she felt as if her father would tell her no.

"Please do tell us just so we are aware of what will happen," Alena added after her sister and waited for her father's response. Alena knew Alex wasn't actually going to cover for Sabrina since Alena had asked Alex to help her with the preparations for her father's birthday party which is coming up soon. Every year, the Romano's throw a party at their house since the house is huge and the backyard can take up a whole herd. The party got bigger and better every year and everyone from everywhere looked forward to it. But since this incident at the bakery has happened, the Romano's will need extra security to ensure their safety.

Emmet Sullivan
It pleased Emmet to see his daughter's face turn bright with happiness, and just like that he was pulled out of his thoughts. A movement caught his eye, and he glanced over at Luca for but one moment as he drew back from Sinead.
"As long as you are ok with it." He said cautiously, words drawn out slow. He'd taken a step back mentally. "I don't want to impose myself on your... normal life if you don't want me to."
He moved over to the oven, where the chicken had finished and set all the dishes on the counter. Opening a cabinent above the counter, Emmet grabbed several plates, offering one to Sinead and setting the rest on the counter. He may have cooked, but he wasn't bothering serving anyone who was to eat.
"Eat something." He told Sinead, smiling. "We can talk more tomorrow, as for tonight I have more business."
He began to walk towards Luca, then turned back to Sinead.
"I'm sorry mo stóirín. I promise we can talk and go do something tomorrow if you'd like."
With dinner done and those he requested present, Emmet stalked towards Luca, demeanor changed. His face was now contorted into a pissed off grimace.
Stopping just short of Luca, he looked the other man up and down.
"Luca." Voice now flat and authoritative, Emmet nodded a greeting at his right hand man.

Not waiting for an answer from Angel, Monte stalked off back towards his car. He didn't particularly want to chat with Angel, and didn't particularly enjoy his demeaning attitude towards Monte. Walking the street, Monte lit another cigarette with ease, the butt the only light in the shadows he walked in. It wasn't so much to hide his identity, so much so as it amused him to walk the streets like a prince. He knew every street in Chicago and wouldn't have any issue finding the bar again. A long walk later, Monte's polished shoes hit the pavement just outside the Den. Monte tossed the cigarette, finding his keys with ease and starting the ignition. He drove slowly towards his family's home, musing over the evening, though his blood was still hot, anxious for some real action. It was often he did boring tasks like these, and Monte was beginning to suspect his father was keeping him out of the action for some other reason. Just years before Monte had been in the thick of it all. Pulling up in front of the house, Monte dismissively waved a valet away after tossing his keys to the man, chuckling when the guy lunged for them. He'd tossed them just off of the man, of course, just to watch him jump for them. The lights were on, and with a frown Monte groaned. His whole family seemed to be home.
Opening the door with a bang and no regard for whatever was going on, Monte entered as loudly as he could, though he slung his jacket over the coat rack as if he'd come in as silent as a fox.

Lucy smiled dazzling at the man and took another sip from her glass. Her smile faded after a moment and she gave a forelorned sigh. "Sinead is a fragile little thing, she will most likely need some time." She murmured and looked towards the kitchen. Her green eyes were hard as she thought about how she was going to get back at the Romano's, looking back at James her jaw set. "You know how much I love my family, how much my father loves this family...and he doesn't want me or my sister to get involved." Lucy pushed back a blonde curl and sighed. "This incident just proves that we are involved no matter what we do. I want to get back at them." Her voice took on an edge like her father's. One that she was very familiar with from years of being around this atmosphere.

"I want you to help me. You have been with this family for as long as I can remember and I honestly trust you more than anyone else." Lucy bit her lip softly and leaned forward. "Now I can't guareentee that my father won't find out, because you and I both know that even the walls have eyes and ears...but I can guareentee your employment with my family, even if that means you have to work for me." A small smirk formed at the thought of that. Her eyes raked his appearance for a moment, he would definitely need less clothing on. The thought that crossed her mind was dirty, and highly inappropriate given the circumstances. "There will also be money for your troubles...but my family is everything to me, and for my father to just shut us out of this because we are women is not something I will continue to let happen. I want to fuck with them. Show them that the daughters are not one to mess with either."

"Dominus." Luca said to Emmet, calling him Boss in Latin, something he always did when it became business not friendly matters. "Conas tá tú?" Usually he would had asked him what was happening but since Sinead was there, he decided to ask how he was. That was a simple phrase that meant many words in their dictionary and on it his, it usually meant if Emmet had any plan of action that was gonna be set on the Romano's for messing with Sineas. A plan that if he could help out, it would show that he wasn't gonna do nothing when they had messed up with one of their own, someone that could be considered his daughter in everything but blood. Someone that he had seen grown up beautifully everyday since she was little. "My apologies for coming late, I was trying to do something on my day off." It wouldn't really be considered a day off, after all he had been scouting out the Pub for any moles. He turned to Sinead and gave her a warm smile. "Hello Nead, it is a great pleasure to see you here again, I haven't seen you in a while." He said to her before giving a small bow.

Vincenzo Romano

When Alex offered him some wine and apologised for not asking in advance if she could stay out, Vinnie relaxed a little and sat back down. "Thank you," he said, accepting the wine and taking a quick drink from the glass. When she mentioned having to go in to work early, Vinnie sent yet another disapproving look in her direction, but it wasn't because he didn't believe her. "Well, I'm not going to pretend I'm happy about you missing church in the morning, but if you've got to work..." he said, giving in.

When asked how personal the Romanos had taken things, he braced himself before answering. He knew dragging Sinead into things was the same as if the Sullivans were to drag Alex or Alena into it. He looked to his two daughters and sighed. "Sinead Sullivan personal. She has not been hurt, but a body was left for her to find. Conor doesn't respond to threats on his business or own life, but he will take heed if he thinks his actions will harm his loved ones."

When Monte entered the house, Vinnie leaned back in his seat so he could see his son hanging his jacket up. "Monte. In here!" he called his son over before sitting forward again. Once his eldest entered, Vinnie looked him over to see he was okay. "Did everything go as planned?" he asked his son.

Sinead Sullivan

Sinead quickly nodded her head. "Yes, daddy, of course I'm okay with it," she assured him. "I'm sorry I didn't invite you sooner. I just hope you like it." When dinner was ready, Sinead took the plate from her father and filled it with some food. "Yes, let's talk tomorrow. We can get my things from the apartment and maybe go for a walk by the lake?" she suggested.

As Sinead was about to go sit down at the dining room table, she noticed Luca in the doorway. When he greeted her, she smiled in a friendly manner. "It's good to see you too, Luca. I was tired of cooking for myself so thought I'd give my dad something to do," she joked. Despite her humour and smile, her troubled eyes told a different story. With her dad saying he had more business to tend to and Luca's presence, she knew that was her cue to keep her distance. She made her way to the dining table where she sat to eat her food away from business talk.

James Porter

James listened as Lucy spoke about her father wanting to keep his daughters out of what was going on. On one hand, he understood where Emmet was coming from, but on the other, he also knew Lucy was a tough woman and she wanted revenge for what had happened too. When she said she wanted his help, James shifted uncomfortably. He dreaded to think what would happen if he went behind Emmet's back and he found out. His concerns reduced a little when she said she'd guarantee his employment working for her. She was very hard to resist, especially when she set those seductive eyes of hers on him. "Your father is going to want me to help him deal with the Romanos after what they've done. You both want the same thing, so I'm not sure how I can help you whilst already helping Emmet. What do you propose we do that is different to what your father will propose?" he curiously asked. He wasn't outright refusing, but he wasn't going to go in head first, even if it did win him points with this beautiful woman.

Emmet Sullivan
Emmet couldn't help twitching the corner of his mouth up when Luca addressed him. He'd known Luca a long time, and thus, knew he could trust the man with any matters at hand. He also knew Luca was likely as unhappy with the Romanos as he was, having been around for what now seemed like an eternity.
"There is trouble brewing, as you know."
Emmet patted Luca on the shoulder, walking towards what many would call a business room, though the sort of business held there was quite different from any other family. It was a fairly large room, one that sat several lavish chairs and one leather chair behind a desk. It was here that Emmet usually discussed gang matters with the closest members of his gang, however many nights he also spent poring over business paperwork. In the back of the room was a wooden alcohol cabinet, glasses neatly lined up on the top, expensive alcohol hidden away in the bottom. Conor and James would come, he assumed, shortly after he and Luca finished the basics. Emmet pulled out a bottle of strong bottle of whiskey, poring himself a glass then offering one to Luca before sitting.
"We have much to discuss, mo chara." While he and Luca were very different in their backgrounds, Emmet often referred to him as his friend in Gaelic, choosing to make Luca more a friend and family member than a disposable gang member.

Monte Romano
Hearing his father call, Monte made his way to where his family was gathered, and in turn looked at them all with a cocky grin on his face.
"All went well, father." He reported, tilting his head. "Angel is a... unique man to work with. He did his job quickly and efficiently. I just watched, as usual."
There was a slight hint of annoyance in his voice, though Monte knew it was likely only his father would detect it, though he knew not if Vinnie would know why.
Monte procured a cigarette from his pocket, wiggling it in his fingers as he waggled his eyebrows at his sisters. Without a second thought, he lit it, lazily blowing smoke at one of them before starting to walk outside.
He wasn't much in the mood for family time, though he had a sinking feeling he was about to be dragged into a discussion with his father and or his sisters.

Lucy smirked softly at him. "Well, I'm only targeting one person in general and maybe because I know he would do something like what Sinead found...but Monte is the one I want to target. I'm not sure if father would be able to get a direct hit at Monte like I could." Her fingers twitched slightly, and she was itching for a cigar. Strange and manly habit, but another similarity she had with her father. Especially stress smoking.

The heaviness of the glass in her hand reminded her that cigars were most likely terrible for her health. Which she was told her immune system was weaker than most. Shrugging her shoulders, she leaned back in the chair she was in once more and sighed. "It is entirely up to you James," his name rolled off her tongue like silk. "Either way I will still go through with it, with or without your help."

(Sorry it's so short, on my phone)

The moment Luca entered Emmet office, he sat down and looked at him with a frown. "Honestly I though that by having our own members be there to make sure nothing happened to her could help out, but it looks like them Romies are getting too conceited." He told him as he took the glass from Emmet. "Sinead Bodyguards should had been able to dispose, someone who we didn't kill, of the body instead of just flirting or doing whatever they were doing." He told him. "You're the boss here but I think we should 'teach' those stupid members that they should had followed the mission you gave instead of ignoring it." By that he meant that Emmet should send him to find those two and beat them down until they knew not to ignore task.

"Sure I don't really care about the bakery, we could just rebuild another one." That was completely true. "But Sinead had never seen a dead body before, heck I even made sure to dispose of any body whenever you had me take care of her." Okay so some task had him kill somebody whenever he had to take care of Sinead, but that didn't mean he didn't paid attention, he had to always look out if they we're there. "Yo Prefiero Muerte antes de que le pase algo a Ella." *I prefer death than have anything happen to her. That was something that he truly took and kept from his parents. Death before family, that was one code he always followed. Foxy Foxy

Emmet Sullivan
"I believe that's the best course of action as far as our own people." Emmet said, eyes focused on the liquid in his class as he swirled it around, gulping down what was left on one swift motion. Setting the glass down quietly, he folded his arms.
"What I am concerned with is the Romanos making a pretty public statement to our family. I can't ignore it, by my honor and by my family." His blue eyes wandered up to Luca. "Vincenzo expects retaliation and he shall have it. However, I will not paint myself or our family as the bad guy to the public. I believe that whatever we do, it is best to keep it quiet, away from the public. This is best to be seen as a vicious attack, one that can be pinned on the Romanos, not a turf fight between our families."
Emmet idly pulled on his growing beard, one hand pouring another glass.
"As for what that action is, I need assistance." He admitted. A passionate man he was, Emmet had gotten far in life by learning his limits. Family was one of them, and where vengeance came in, Emmet often needed a cool head. "I know my rash decision making rarely works in our favor. So as I prefer to keep everything clean and organized, we need a plan. We can discuss with James and Conor later, but your thoughts are my first and foremost interest."
As at ease as Emmet looked in talking about his business, inside Emmet was lit again with rage. His hands trembled, and after setting down the glass from a drink, he took a long, deep breath.
"An té a luíonn le madaí, eiroidh sé le dearnaid." Emmet said darkly, his grim expression casting dark shadows over his aging face. "He who lays with the dogs, gets up with the fleas."
Wiggling his shoulders, Emmet tried to relax, kicking his feet up on the desk as he stared at Luca, depending on his answer, though the Sullivan boss would never admit it.

Gianna had spent three weeks over at her parents place helping them out with a few things. Her mother had remarried when Gianna turned 25 years old, and Gianna welcomed Johnny, her mother's new husband and her stepfather to the family. Gianna is glad that her mother isn't alone so she appreciates Johnny being with her mother. After she left her parents place, she spent a couple of days in New York checking on a few things with the restaurant business. The restaurant business keeps her busy apart from the other family business that Vince is running. Now it was time to return home and she missed her family, but this break was a nice break since it was chaos back in Chicago. Gianna on her way back did a little shopping too, but she won't tell her husband just yet so that he doesn't blow his top.

Gianna was now being driven up the driveway of the house as her driver told her that she was here. Gianna woke up from her light nap and fixed her hair and opened her little makeup kit to look at her face in the mirror to make sure her lipstick didn't smudge. Gianna felt the car come to a halt, and the driver walked around the car and opened the door for her. Gianna went out and the driver went to go and get her bags from the trunk as she walked up to the door. Gianna opened the door which seemed to be unlocked, as she walked in. Gianna could already hear her husband's voice booming through the house, and her children chattering as well. Gianna shook her head, For the love of God, I leave for a couple of weeks and they are already at each other's throats. Gianna thought to herself as she shook her head once more before walking towards the dining room.

Gianna's heals were the only sounds that clicked through the house loudly. "I leave for a couple of weeks and you guys are already at each other's throats?" Gianna asked as she put her hand behind Monte and Alex. Gianna stood between the two for a while before she made her way towards her daughter Alena and gave her a kiss on the cheek before walking over to her husband. "Did you miss me?" She asked him as she leaned in and gave him a quick kiss on the lips.

Alena knew that once her brother walked in, this house was going to be set aflame. She didn't know how someone could talk so much then her brother Monte. Alena wondered where Giovanni was, she had no idea why he didn't come back here. Alena knew that her mother was here since she heard her mother's heels clicking hard against the floor. Alena's face lit up when her mother came into the dining room. "How was your trip?" Alena asked as she let out a light chuckle at her mother's response. Alena was grossed out when her mother kissed her father, she shook her head and stood up from where she was. "Get a room, the two of you," Alena said as she pointed at the two of them before walking past Monte and Alex.

Alena had taken her plate and her fathers as well as she made her way towards the kitchen. Alena washed the plates before heading upstairs. Alena did not want to be here when Monte and her father were going to talk. Alena walked upstairs, and thought that she would talk to her mother later in the day.
