Alex nodded as she listened to what he had to say, she sucked her bottom lip in as she thought about what he said "yeah true, I tend to over exaggerate a little so he doesn't know what point to pick up on" she laughed "but yeah saying your name would annoy him so Ill stick with the simple story" she concluded a smile on her face. Alex finished off her glass before sitting back comfortably on the couch facing Conor. "Could just tell him the truth" She joked "how I was spending time with an amazing and handsome man" a playful tone played on her voice

"A dog and a girlfriend would be nice, but that'd be too much stress," Angel said as the food arrived. He moved the coffee aside, making room for his food. He decided to speak again, once a forkful was in his mouth. He used his hand to cover his mouth as he spoke. "As of now, I can act however I please. If I had something to love, it'd surely be used against me." He looked up at her, his blue eyes interlocking with her gaze. He then shifted his eyes around the table, shaking his head lightly. He swallowed his food so he could speak. "I never, for a second, thought of you as a dull or shallow individual. I can tell by the way you walk and how you hold yourself. That's why I am so drawn towards you," He smiled towards her; not his trademarked "womanizing" smile, but something sincere. "I can tell you're so much more than a pretty face with a gorgeous voice. You're an intellectual who knows what they want. That's hard to find in this city," Angel said, using his fork to circle the perimeter.

Conor laughed as Alex said she could tell Vinnie the truth about being with Conor. "Oh, you could tell him that, but you wouldn't be spending time with this handsome man again. I predict a few scenarios should your old man know you were with me. One involves me no longer being handsome and another I shouldn't even say in front of a lady, but I wouldn't be much of a man once he's done with me is what I will say," he joked. He playfully nudged her uninjured side. "You're a bad influence, do you know that?" As he thought of how welcomed this distraction was, he leaned in to kiss Alex.

Sinead Sullivan

Sinead smiled brightly as the food arrived and she began using her cutlery to cut into her waffles so she could take small bites. When he mentioned having something to love would be used against him, she quickly shook her head. "No, I'm not accepting that. Everyone needs someone to love. Are you sure you're not just making up excuses because you're afraid of stepping out of your comfort zone? You'll regret denying your feelings when you're an old lonely man," she teased. She then met his gaze before he looked away. When Angel complimented her and said he was drawn to her, she blushed a little." Oh, Giovanni, you're too kind. If you continue to avoid letting yourself love, then some poor lady is going to miss out on knowing you," she observed. In the past she'd heard Sullivan members mention one of the Romano men being a womaniser of sorts. She had thought they were talking about Angel, but now she'd spoken with him it had to be someone else they'd been discussing.

Luca could had been at the pub earlier, the word being could, but he had decided against that and had decided to chat with the few people he saw a long the way. Even helping fix the tire of an old man whose car tire had popped. He didn't do this to get anything in return, he was doing it because this where innocent people who had nothing to do with the gangs or Mafia around, people who walked around the light side while he and the rest of Sullivan's and Romano's walked in the dark side of the world. They knew nothing about what was happening outside and the few things they did, it was from newspaper. "Go raibh maith agat as an bia." He said to the old lady who had given him some food for breakfast or was it lunch, he wasn't sure but he knew that he hadn't anything all day and he was grateful that the old lady had given him so food for helping her husband fix the broken window on their house. "Bye bye." Those where the words that came from the few children that he had talked with, he smiled at them before continuing his, eventually reaching the pub. He didn't know why he was in a good mood even though yesterday he had been at the hospital, but he was happy for that, it helped him from digging deeper onto the darkness that awaited the Romano's. He looked around trying to see if Kate was there, but knowing what happened yesterday, there was a small chance she wouldn't come so he went to the counter and ordered some orange juice, something that must had shocked the few that knew him. He was a drinking man and he only came to drink on the pub but he guessed that he could drink something small for now.

Angel dropped the silverware on the plate. "Oh yeah, I'm terrified of stepping out of my comfort zone," Angel said jokingly with a mouthful of food, pointing directly to the patched bullet wound. He leaned back in the seat as she spoke, examining her facial expressions. He couldn't help but smile as he gazed upon her features. Her stunning looks, tasteful sense of humor, and inquisitive mind was starting to drive him crazy. It was out of nowhere, cupid's arrow had stuck him right in the chest. He never believed in love at first sight, Sinead confirmed this. "Where did this girl come from?" He asked himself, still listening to her intently. "Well, if I ever allowed myself to fall in love, it'd have to be a secret. Love is a powerful weapon, and it could become your Achilles' heel."

Alex couldnt help but laugh at his comments on what her father might do, the loss of his manhood made her laugh even harder at the thought of it. He wasnt exactly wrong, if her father found out they were together, Conor problem would lose his crown jewels or his life depending on how her father was feeling. When she eventually got her laughter under control she smiled at him in a playful way "ah we cant have you going around without your manhood, maybe we'll keep this to ourselves" she said although the laughter was still evident in her tone. Alcohol never normally hit her this quickly but due to the blood loss yesterday she was starting to feel a little tipsy. "Oh I try to be, there's no fun in being good" she said with a wink. When Conor leaned in she smiled to herself before leaning in to meet him and kiss him back

"Being comfortable taking a bullet or doing something dangerous is different to what I'm talking about. I'm talking about feelings and emotions. They're much harder to take on," she explained. Sinead noticed him smiling as he studied her features and this caused her cheeks to turn a rosy red again. She wondered what he was really thinking. All she knew was that she was being drawn towards him despite knowing she really shouldn't be. Hell, should she even be sat eating breakfast with him? What would her family say? "People will always find a way to get to someone if they really want to. What's the point in denying love and happiness just because it could be used against you? You're doing yourself a disservice. Don't waste your feelings," she lectured him, but grinned as she took her last bite of food. He was so much sweeter than she expected.

Conor feigned a relieved exhale as Alex agreed with him. "Exactly. You get where I'm coming from. I need my manhood to keep being manly... and stuff," he commented, flexing his biceps. "So, tell me what else you get up to for fun. I already know you like drinking, sneaking and leading innocent young men astray. What else makes you happy?" he asked her.

Cassie returned behind the bar so she could serve Luca. "Good morning, Luca. You're here early. What can I get you?" she asked. "How are you feeling today?" She hadn't been at the pub when the gunfire started, but she had arrived in time to see Luca being carried into an ambulance. "Conor was down here sweeping a bit ago, but I believe he's gone upstairs - no doubt having a rest in the apartment after his night in the cells."

Alex leaned forward and poured herself another drink, she found it quite hard to open the bottle, pour it and close the bottle with one hand, but she was stubborn and while it took a little time to do , she did it herself. Alex laughed when he flexed his muscles "Yeah what would we do if you weren't manly, be a bit of a deal breaker I think" she teased him. She laughed again when he described himself as innocent "innocent my ass, but I suppose it is a thrill to be dangerous" she winked at him and smirk playing along her features. She bit her lip as she thought about his question "Eh I like singing, I love music, and partying is definitely a favourite" she shrugged and winced slightly at the pain it caused. "What about you, what do you get up to, other than managing a pub, drinking and taking risks"

Luca looked at Cassie with a small smile, before speaking. "Can I get some orange juice." He would smirked if he saw her surprised face but he didn't say anything. "Ya, forcing the doctor to let me out, coming home to rest and finally speaking with the neighbors before coming here." He said to her before he nodded when she spoke about Conor being tire after being in the jail cell.". He had actually gotten lucky when the police had consider the assault on the attacks self defense or else he would had spent a long time in jail. "So anyone I know that's here?" He questioned.

Conor watched as Alex seemed to struggle a little with opening the bottle, but she seemed like the kind of stubborn girl who would want to do it herself rather than have him step in to help. He grinned at her. "Oh, I can do dangerous. I mean, not just dangerous like getting shot at," he sarcastically added. "Singing, huh? You'll have to sing for me some time. I've grown up listening to Sinead belting songs out around the house, so I've grown fond of it all." When the shrug visibly caused her pain, Conor placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I don't think you'll be doing much partying for the next few days - especially no dancing," he said, completely oblivious to the fact she would be at Vinnie's birthday party tomorrow. When she asked him what he got up to, he thought for a moment. "I like exercising and working out. When I can, I try to go out for a jog in the mornings. My mam also got me into photography when I was younger but we don't get time to share that interest anymore. We're rarely free at the same time these days." He did worry that his mother often seemed preoccupied lately. He looked to Alex and softly smiled." You haven't mentioned your ma. What's she like?" he curiosity asked.

"Orange juice?" Cassie repeated with a smile. "I thought you were joking the first time you asked for juice... but I promise I won't tell Conor. He'll not let it drop if he knows you've been in his pub drinking juice," she joked. "You should rest more, Luca. I'm sure the Sullivans would understand," she told him, a little concern in her tone. When Luca asked who Conor was with, Cassie wasn't sure. She hadn't seen him go up to his apartment, but she'd heard him ascending the metal stairs and then closing the side door. "I'm not sure if he's with anyone at all."

"He went upstairs with a young, dark-haired lady," the glazier loudly interrupted as he finished off replacing the last window.

"Your guess about who this girl is is as good as mine," Cassie said to Luca, shrugging her shoulders. It wasn't the first time Conor had taken a girl back upstairs with him, but it was a little earlier in the day for it.

"Considering I just got out, I think it would be best for me to stick with no alcohol until later today." Sure he liked drinking, but being told by the doctor to not drink? He had to follow that rule until he felt better. "No need to worried about me, I wouldn't know what to do if I decided to rest more often, heck I don't think it would fit me considering that I can't stay still a lot." He told her while smirking. Luca had to nod when she spoke about Conor taking someone upstairs with him, even though he didnt ask where he was here, just asking to know if anyone besides them was here. If he knew Kate, she was gonna stay away from what happened yesterday, he sighed when thinking about that before taking the orange juice from Cassie and quickly drinking it.

"Don't worry, I won't forget about you," Alena said to Leo as she was trying to reassure him that she was going to invite him to the party happening tomorrow evening. Alena ran her hand on the top of her head just to make sure she didn't have any strands sticking out.

Alena let out a soft chuckle when her father asked her what she had planned for tonight so she looked at Leo and then Vinnie," Well...Vinnie and I have a few errands to run. Ehh...let me re-word it, more like I'm dragging Vinnie off with me to go do errands." Alena said to her father as she brought her hand down from her hair to her side. Alena looked at him and she raised an eyebrow wondering what her father was going to say about this. Vinnie knew that Leo worked for him, but he might not let Alena go off and do these errands that she speaks up. Alena just needs Leo's help with the party

"I'm glad to hear you won't forget about me. Us shy and retiring boys always get overlooked," Leo joked, flashing a playful wink as he did. He couldn't help but think it was a shame she considered him a friend but nothing more. Regardless, he wouldn't let that affect their friendship as he wasn't pushy in that respect.

Vinnie raised an eyebrow when Alena mentioned she and Leo had errands to run. "What kind of errands are you speaking of?" he curiously asked Alena. He did wonder which of the two caused him the most concern. Despite believing Leo to have good intentions and be a trustworthy young man, he did find himself questioning if he was tough enough to protect Alena should the two run into trouble. Vinnie was conflicted on the young man - whilst he wanted his daughter to socialise with decent or safe people he also wanted her to be with someone who could protect her, at all costs. Leo had never been involved with his father's criminal activities and probably never even held a gun, despite his elder dealing in weapons. "Have you learned how to fire a gun yet, Leonardo? I know your father isn't the most patient teacher, so perhaps I could show you."

"I'm good, Vinnie. Thanks for the offer, though," Leo replied, keeping his tone light-hearted. "I don't invite the need to carry a gun."

"If you're going to be spending more time around Alena, then your innocence is irrelevant. Alena is a Romano, and that alone invites danger. You both need to look after yourselves." Vinnie turned his attention back to Alena. "So, tell me what errands you are running," he sternly asked Alena.

Alena blushed slightly before she reminded herself that her father was still in the room. Alena looked down before she looked up at him and then her father. Alena hated how quickly she is to let her guard down whenever she was with Leo, she didn't know why she did so, but she hated it. Alena listened to how her father shot back a question to her after she had told him she was going to run errands with Leo,"Well...it's pretty complicated," Alena told her father. She felt like her father was onto her, but not in the right state of mind as Alena. He probably thought something else when Alena mentioned errands with Leo.

"This is the first time that I am hearing a guy say that he would not carry a gun. Maybe I should call you a softy Leo," Alena told him as she let out a soft chuckle.

Alena put her hand on her wide hips as she put a foot out, ready to fire back at her father but not in a disrespectful way. "For you information, I can take care of myself." Alena told him. Alena was always prepare, she even had a black garter that can hold either a small gun or dagger. Alena watched as her father turned to her, well....here we go, he's serious. He asked her the question again, "Well mama got you an item, but it didn't deliver to the right place so she asked me to go and pick it up. That's why I need Leo, because he can do all the heavy lifting or maybe light lifting since he can't hold a gun." Alena said the last part as a tease to Leo.

Alex smiled "I doubt I'm as good as Sinead but you might be lucky enough to hear me sometime" She laughed. She frowned when he said no partying "but what is life if I cant party" she was slightly joking, she knew that he was probably right and that she shouldnt dance or party but it was unavoidable with her fathers party tomorrow. Alex leaned into him again while he spoke "ah photography is really good to be into, its a beautiful form of art , sadly I'm not very good at getting clear pictures". When Conor asked about her mother Alex smiled "ah she's lovely, I get on with her very well, but she tends to keep a tight enough eye on me , more so than the others" she laughed "She's well aware of my habits" Alex smiled, taking a sip of her vodka "I'm her darling rebel". She looked up at him briefly a smile on her face.

"Complicated?" Vinnie asked. "I'm a complicated man, so try me," he casually suggested. When his daughter began teasing Leo about him being a softy, Vinnie couldn't help but grin. "Leonardo is certainly a one in a million. That's why I'm happy to leave him at the front desk, sweet talking the patrons and guests of the hotel."

"Sweet talking?" Leo repeated. "You make it sound like it's not genuine. I love talking to the old ladies about their grandchildren!" he argued. He wouldn't say it out loud, but he knew Vinnie was only so nice in order to preserve his public image, rather than being genuinely interested in what some random old lady had to say.

When Alena told him she was going to collect an item for Gianna, it certainly seemed plausible. He wasn't completely convinced it was the truth, but it wasn't beyond the realms of possibility. Regardless, he didn't think she would be up to anything that could put her in danger or that he needed to worry about. After all, Leo wouldn't be involved if he thought it would risk Vinnie's wrath - he was too wise and happy in his job to cause problems for himself. "Well, you two have fun collecting parcels and you look after poor Leo, Alena," Vinnie suggested, with what would surprisingly appear to be a genuine smile.

"Woah..." Leo began, as Alena teased him. "What is it with you Romanos bullying me?" he feigned offence. "I'm deeply offended..." he trailed off.

"I'm sure you have the voice of an angel," Conor told Alex. "Lucky enough? What does a guy have to do to be lucky enough to hear you sing?" he curiously asked. "Partying and alcohol are overrated," Conor said, but was unable to hold in the laughter at such a comment. Considering how often he got completely wasted on alcohol, anyone who knew him would also laugh at such a comment. "I'm teetotal, I'll have you know," he joked. When she said she wasn't good at taking photographs, he shrugged his shoulders. "Then I will show you some techniques one day. We could go somewhere with great scenery so you can practice. Maybe you can even be my model for a day!" she suggested. "Your mam sounds nice. And she must have her head screwed on to know you're her rebel. You tearaways have to be watched!" As he thought about it, he figured Gianna wasn't as bad as Vinnie, but wondered how much of a hand she did have in the business. His own mother typically left Emmet to business, but Conor was aware of how involved she had been known to get, especially when her daughters are harmed. He knew Shannon could be very dangerous if wound up enough.

"I will try my best to look after him," Alena said to her father with a small innocent smirk. "Come on Leo," Alena said to Leo as she took him by the hand and pulled him away from Vinnie. "We'll be back later," Alena assured her father. They made way towards the door where Alena told one of the men to bring the car around and take them to the hotel. Alena realized that she was still holding Leo's hand, so she let go as soon as possible. She understood what personal space meant and this was crossing it.

Alex smirked when he asked what he had to do to get her to sing "For the first time you hear, get me drunk and after that Ill never shut up" she laughed as she held the glass up a little "so you're half way there" she teased. Alex laughed at his comment about partying and alcohol being overrated "as if Id believe that, your drinking now and its morning, I say you like a good party and alcohol just as much as me" she stated, thinking about it Alex did drink a lot, she probably could be seen as an alcoholic but a functioning one at best. She smiled at him when he said about taking her out to show her some techniques "I'd really like that" her tone was genuine no laughter, no flirting or teasing, she really did want to learn the techniques and she was sure if would be fun, the laughter came back however when he mentioned her being his model for a day "hmm I could be your model however I dont do nudes till the fifth date" she teased. Alex smirked "Ive never been called a tearaway before" she said "but since tearaways have to be watched, does that mean you need to be watched too" She winked at him "because I have no problem with watching you"

Leo looked down to his hand when Alena took hold of it. Before thinking too much on it, he turned to Vinnie and used his free hand to wave to his legitimate boss. "Have a good day, Vinnie!" Once they were out of the way and Alena had told one of the men to take them to the hotel, the Romano girl let go of Leo's hand. He gave her a faint smile before remembering not to think too much into it. She was just a friendly person and perhaps holding hands was what she did with anyone she was comfortable with. "Come on then, Lena. What's the plan? I don't much like lying to your old man, so I hope we're not getting ourselves into some trouble that will come back to bite me on the ass!"

"Well, I'll be sure to get you drunk and have you sing to me," Conor assured Alex. It was talking about getting drunk that made him realise he was being very restrained with his drinking. It could have been because it was still the morning, but mostly it was because he anticipated he would need his wits about him for most of the day. He'd still not been home or even thought about how he intended on getting revenge on the Romanos for the the way they'd recently targeted him and his family.

Conor couldn't help but smile when she made a joke about posing for nude photographs. "Well, in that case, I'm classing this as our third date, so I reckon we'll be on date five soon enough," he playfully remarked. When she mentioned watching him, he nodded his head. "Oh yeah, I definitely need to be watched," he agreed, pulling her in a little closer with the arm that was around her shoulder.

Alex smiled, she wasn't actually far off being drunk and so she placed her glass on the table to pace herself. She had to remind herself that she was hurt so it was taking less to make her drunk and also the fact that it was morning and sooner or later she would have to see her father and mother and she did not want to do that drunk. Alex smirked at his comment about this being the third date "third date already, jeez we move fast" she laughed. She smiled as he pulled her closer and looked up to him a playful smile on her face "Then Ill be your watcher" she teased "bit of a promotion from stalker". Emmet Sullivan
Emmet awoke with a deep scowl on his face, hip burning as he'd fallen asleep with the colt still strapped to his side. He flung back the sheets without a worry for Shannon, mind engrossed in an internal war as he ruffled his already messy hair, face looking more gaunt and haunted than ever. He hadn't shaved lately, and as a result his beard was curling in various directions, giving him a wild, untamed look. It was still very early morning -- maybe 3 or 4 A.M. Standing by the balcony, the moonlight washed over Emmet's bare chest, light casting grim shadows over his face. After taking several deep breaths, he turned, watching his sleeping wife toss and turn in her sleep for but moments before retreating into the bathroom, taking a razor to his tangled beard, watching hairs flutter through the air from skin to sink. After a moment of deliberation, Emmet decided he'd likely be getting no sleep, and dressed for the day instead, tossing his pajama pants into the dirty laundry and heading downstairs without a sound. The house was eerily empty, especially after the commotion that had been around with his whole family present just the day before. Weary, Emmet retreated to his business office, settling into his leather chair and donning reading glasses, poring over distillery paperwork with a emotionless expression.
It was an idle task, but Emmet couldn't do much else besides mull over the events of the previous night, and he knew if he did that he'd be ripping his own office apart in fury. Even as the thought but briefly crossed his mind, Emmet's fist clenched, nearly snapping his pen in half. He sighed, looking down at the paperwork before turning behind him, filling a glass to the brim with the strongest alcohol he had on hand. There was no plan this time.
Luca was injured, Lucy was injured, and the rest of his gang members and family were nowhere to be found. He had a sinking feeling inter-gang relations (whether good or bad) were happening behind his back. Not that he could do anything about it, the poor Sullivan boss could do naught but look on and observe. Sliding forward, drink in hand, Emmet looked at the paperwork blankly before sliding back in his chair again, burying his head in his hands. The man was distraught, with no right hand man to speak with, and no plan ahead. The only thoughts that raced through his mind were rash, violent and bloody.
He couldn't and wouldn't stand for this. Standing abruptly, Emmet stormed outside, fishing through his pockets for keys to a car that sat in the back of his family's property in a dusty shed, a car only he and Shannon knew about.

Monte Romano
Monte found himself rousing in a lavish bed, smooth sheets laying across his bare, muscular chest. Grumbling, he turned over and found himself face-to-face with a beautiful blonde woman, who snored softly with a serene look on her face.
"Shit." Monte said, bolting upright and waking the girl, who's eyes wandered lazily in confusion.
"Monte?" She whispered softly, head tilting, golden waves rustling. He glanced at her, waving a dismissive hand at her.
"Go home uhh... Sandy." He didn't look directly at her, instead standing and yawning, eying his crumpled suit on the floor. He scowled. Clearly he'd been in a hurry the previous night or he wouldn't have left his fine suit sitting haphazardly on the floor. From behind him, he could hear the sheets rustle as the girl got out of bed, dressing as quickly as she could before rushing out the door, throwing a glance back at Monte with tears in her eyes.
"It's Susan." She whimpered before bolting out, clothes and hair messy.
"Yeah whatever!" Monte called back, rolling his eyes and instantly forgetting about Shirley -- err Susan. Picking up his suit from the floor, Monte smiled when he found it hadn't yet settled into its creases, easily sliding back into form as he donned it. Glancing in the mirror, he flashed a cocky grin, fixing his hair and striding out of the room oozing confidence, slapping cash on the hotel front desk before marching outside, sunlight lighting his bronze hair. The city was abuzz with action, and with a bit of concern, he noted the cops were out in force, though he had no idea why. Shaking his head, he ignored his own curiosity. He was no suspect, and had no reason to draw attention. Snorting, he headed towards the casino, figuring he'd gamble the day away before returning home.

CJ & Tyler Kelly
After yet another successful day, CJ and Tyler had spent the evening out, CJ treating his little sister to ice cream and a drive on the tow, the duo watching the city lights through the car window. As they passed one building, gunshots rang, and the car screeched to a halt, intending to take CJ and Tyler farther from the crime. CJ, though, motioned for the driver to stop, paying him as he and his sister clambered out of the car. CJ motioned Tyler to follow him, and the siblings crept through the shadows, settling in an alley to watch the chaos from afar. Citizens streamed from the Whistler's jazz club, followed by screaming and more gunshots. Tyler withdrew into her brother as he looked on, and he could feel her shake. Looking down, CJ ruffled his sister's long, loose hair.
"It's okay." He said softly, turning back to the scene at hand. About to turn away, he spotted a silhouette exit the side of the building and creep towards a car, gun in hand. CJ's eyes narrowed.
"Fucking gangs." He snarled in the darkness. As dangerous as it was, if he could ID the man, perhaps he could get some mone or at least an in with the police. Looking worriedly at Tyler, he backed away from his sister.
"Wait right here. If I don't come back, go to the cops." Frowning, he procured a wad of cash from his pocket. "Stay safe Ty."
CJ kissed his little sister's forehead before sneaking away in the darkness towards the car, mentally noting the man's vehicle and figure. After noting it, CJ slunk away, but just a block before returning to his sister, CJ felt rough hands on his back, shoving him to the ground, followed by the distinctive click of a gun being cocked.
"Don't move!" The voice commanded. "Hands behind your back!"
With a groan, CJ realized he'd been caught by the CPD, and begrudgingly put his hands behind his back, feeling cold metal clasp around his wrists. He glanced worriedly at the alley where he knew Tyler was hiding before being picked up roughly from the ground, gun stripped from his hip as he was tossed into the cop car and driven away with the screaming of sirens.
Just a block away, tears welled in Tyler's eyes as she scrunched her nose, wiping them away before they fell from her eyes. She assumed CJ still wanted her to go to the cops, despite the fact they'd just taken him, and with a glance both ways, Tyler snuck across the street towards the chaos, weaving in and out of the panicked crowd assembled, finding herself a nice spot on the edge near where the cops were assembling, letting tears fall as she curled up and sat on a curb. She knew people, and she'd surely be picked up as a child lost in the chaos. Moments later she was, a cop extending a wam hand as she whimpered something about losing her brother in the crowd. She was hurried into a cop car, and shortly after, nodded off, finding herself being guided into the police station with a blanket around her shoulders.

The next morning CJ was released quickly between the car driver's testimony as well as his little sister's. As soon as CJ and Tyler saw each other they hugged, CJ picking his little sister up and spinning her around joyously before walking out of the police station without a care. CJ was still shaken, of course, by the events of the previous night, and blamed himself for the crap he'd inadvertently put his little sister through. Hand in hand, the siblings made their way down the street, CJ having promised his little sister breakfast to make up for the previous night.
"The Garden of Eden okay?" CJ asked, and Tyler nodded, the two turning into the restaurant and being seated quickly. It had just recently opened, and as such, was still very empty aside from servers and themselves.

Lloyd Castellano
Lloyd had left the Azarola's soon after Danel returned, not wanting to associate himself with whatever crap was going on. He hadn't recently done any work for the Romanos, and as a result, found his once lined pockets empty of cash.
Regardless of if he'd be punished or not for dropping off the map, Lloyd figured he'd stop by the Romano's, if not for a job, then to get an update on the recent events.
It took a while to walk there, but as he lit a cigarette, Lloyd found himself within a mile of the Romano home, and with a satisfied smile, took a long drag. By the time he reached his boss's front door, the cigarette was spent, and had been dropped and stomped out just meters behind him. Lloyd hesitated for a moment before knocking the door, letting any nerves settle out. He wasn't much of a nervous man, and as imposing as Vinnie could be, Lloyd found himself mostly unimpressed by the man. HE hoped they were home.

Shannon Sullivan

Around about the time Emmet went into the bathroom to shave his beard, Shannon woke up. She could feel the tension in the air and couldn't bring herself to even open her eyes, never mind move her body. Once her husband had got dressed and retreated downstairs, Shannon finally opened her eyes and sat up in bed. She knew Emmet was troubled and stressed with everything. As such, she knew she had to do what she always did. She would use this time alone to let out any fear and upset. Seeing Lucy injured had affected Shannon as she kept thinking about how close she was to being killed. She feared for Conor's freedom and she worried that Sinead was going to have some kind of meltdown. She was just grateful that Carrick had escaped everything unscathed. She rarely showed her worries as she didn't want to appear weak or burden Emmet. She mulled things over for a time before eventually drying her eyes and freshening up. Shannon knew the minute she stepped out of the bedroom, she had to maintain a strong and stern demeanour in order to provide support for her husband and kids. It may leave some people thinking she was a cold person, but she couldn't fully support Emmet if she was upset or scared around him.

As Emmet stormed towards the shed that housed the car, he would hear Shannon softly call his name from behind - she was careful not to startle him. She caught up to him before approaching the passenger side of the car. "Where are we going?" she asked. It was clear she was joining him with or without an invite. "I want to get out of the house too... And you need to talk or shout, and I need to listen. You're not in this alone, remember."

Conor Sullivan

Conor gave Alex a warm smile and when she leaned in to kiss him, he placed his hand at the back of her head to keep her face close to his. He made the kiss a lasting one before reluctantly pulling away and letting go of her. He let out a sigh, his face now more serious. "Unfortunately, I think date number three will have to be a short one too. Though I'm happy for you to be my watcher," he added. As much as he was enjoying being with Alex, both flirting and relaxing, he knew he couldn't keep avoiding his duties. He knew he had to see his family and the gang members sooner rather than later. After everything that had happened, he needed to know what the plan was. He also wanted to give his sisters the biggest hugs after what they'd been through. "I'm sure you understand that I have to check up on my family and business. And you need to go home and tell Vinnie your story before he has time to seek his own explanation." He gently stroked her cheek. "One day soon, we will have a nice, long date," he assured her.

Alex gave a sad smile as he said the date had to be cut short, she would have loved to have just spent the day up here cuddling into Conor but he had things to do and she had to talk to her father "ah that's understandable" she said with a smile. It was only then that it dawned on Alex that she too was supposed to be doing something, she looked confused for a brief second before rubbing her good hand down her face "Ah shit, I was supposed to be helping Alena" she groaned more so to herself than to Conor. Although she knew she wouldn't be much help in setting the place up for the party, she had promised Alena she would help. Alex stood up and grabbed her bag, flinging the strap over her good arm with great difficulty, she sighed "I need two arms" she fake winged before laughing at herself and how pathetic she probably looked whenever she tried to do anything. Once she was ready she moved over and leaned down kissing Conor one last time "till next time" she said with a wink before quietly making her way out of his apartment and down the street unseen. Alex pulled a cigarette out of her bag, smoking it as she walked towards home. With any luck her father would be home to get this conversation over and done with now rather than having to wait all day in fear or what would be said. The tablets were starting to wear off and the pain was kicking in as she reached the gate to her house. She prayed her father would be in a good mood and decided that if Alena had already left, Alex would have a cup of tea before going over to the hotel to meet her. Alex opened the door to the house, and the first thing she recognised was how quiet it was, instead of checking on her sister first, Alex made her way into the kitchen to make herself a cup of tea.

Kitty Avera
"Thank you; I really appreciate it. I'll get this in to the presses for the evening edition, and we'll probably reprint it in the morning as well," Kitty said sincerely. She wrote down what all Sergeant Hunter had told her, and then hesitated for a second before continuing on.

"I don't know if you can help me with this as it's a rather - ah - unrelated matter," she began slowly, "but I've also been working on an investigative piece on the Chicago underground, and it would be interesting to include a law enforcement officer's opinion on it, or even some facts or statistics you may be able to give me." She rolled her bottom lip between her teeth while she waited for his response.

Vincenzo Romano

Once Alena and Leo had left, Vinnie made himself a coffee and remained standing at the kitchen counter as he continued to read the newspaper. He was mostly uninterested by the reports of the body found at the Whistler and the murder at the apartment, considering he already knew the full story. No, he was looking for any opportunities. Any potential new business or opportunities to continue outdoing his rivals.

He was distracted by the sound of someone knocking at the door. Figuring Gianna was still upstairs getting ready for the day, he went to see who the visitor was. When he opened the door, Vinnie's pleasant smile dropped a little as he saw Lloyd. "Didn't you used to work for me?" he sarcastically asked. Regardless, he stepped aside to allow the younger man to enter. "What brings you here? Monte stayed out for the night and you just missed your friend Leo. As for Giorgio, your guess is as good as mine!" Vinnie had often thought of Lloyd as lazy and unfocused, but he seemed to get jobs done when pushed.

When Alex entered the house, it didn't go unnoticed and by now Vinnie was aware she'd been shot. "Alexandra! Don't disappear. You have something to tell me," he called out to her as he conversed with Lloyd.

Sergeant Hunter

"No problem. I trust you will not have something published that will cause a stir. The public need to be kept calm," Matthew reiterated. When she made her next request, he studied her face and raised an eyebrow. "You'll have to be more specific. What exactly are you fishing for? As a law enforcer, I'm a neutral party and I'm not sure if giving my opinions is professional." He was a highly opinionated man, but he didn't think he wanted those opinions printing for all to see."
