That would work then, I suppose... Still, they'd need some way to authenticate the ID's properly, so there isn't any fake ID for an old geezer who looks like a kid to sneak in with or anything.

When you say identification for a medieval setting, I would think of something similar to the Holocaust, honestly. Name, School, Level (maybe?), and an ID number branded on their forearm

Each student is given an invisible mark left by the magic of one of their teachers, which marks them as belonging to that teacher? Twelve teachers from each school, six schools in total. That makes about fifty students per teacher, and as the marks are given by specific teachers, impersonating a student's impossible to do due to the marks being unknown to outsiders, and leaving traces of energy from the very teacher that made it. Plus, each teacher has their own design.
Ah, Poipoi, an issue with your post. Nayuta's an entirely different city. There wouldn't really be flower shops and all that to Nayuta, given that only students, teachers, the headmasters/headmistresses, and Father Zoro live there. Bakeries and stuff are fine though, run by teachers I suppose so students have a wide choice of food up until the whole event starts, then them becoming their food sources so long as food remains in the buildings.
