Haha, thanks. It's not really a big problem, but we don't want some people to be TOO over-powered, y'know?


 
Mmm, does everyone want to start or should we wait until there's one of each magic student?
 
Perhaps slighly out of context, but how do you go about non-human characters? Something that is despised for being what it is and is desperately pretending to be human.
 
Mmm, well, they would be what they are. For whatever species you may choose... Um, well, do you want to know anything in specific, like as how their magic may differ?


 
I've had a small chat with one of the other people running this RP. We've decided that we'd prefer characters being human, or artificial human. As for the abilities... There is little to no difference.
 
I would like to add to it though, that being an artificial human is basically being created by forbidden magic, and thus a being that the entire kingdom labels as not allowed to exist. You'd have to basically talk with the three of us about it so we can ensure you know everything it means to play an artificial human, as well as we have a proper way for your character to have come into existence.
 
Sry for late reply. Actually what I've meant was whether it is ok to create one. I have an idea but not sure if it counts as an artificial human.


Perhaps magic creates something similar to an electric field. And in places where it is used (such as the city), these things tend to apear. A mass of gross black substance similar to a slime, usually takes the shape of a small ball around the size of a cat. Normally their behavior is similar to a wild animal. They tend to hide by morphing into stones or other things. They feed onto the magical field and are usually regarded of as pests.


Mine is just slightly bigger and smarter. Smart enough to morph into a human, learn their language and get into a magic school. Of course I wanted to keep the morphing powers to the minimum, so the whole thing will be more of a weakness.

@SubSonicSausage If the gooey essence were created by a form of forbidden magic, that could be a possibility. If it wasn't, then it most likely wouldn't exist, seeing as in the real world there's no such thing. But, like Ko-chan said, we could find a way for it to have happened/been created.


EDIT: The morphing I -personally- have no problem with, just don't over-use it. Overall I think it's a good idea that we'll work out the details of soon ^^
 
@PoisonousCupcake to a conversation, and we'll go over how it would have been actually created, how it would be self-sustaining (since it would have been made outside of Nayuta, and going to Nayuta would take it out of range of whatever made it, leaving it to have to sustain itself), and we would also have to work out how the whole morphing thing works when it comes to specific detail of the creature formed. I'd also prefer that you create the character in the conversation too, so we can approve it there before it's posted in the character sign-up tab.
