Basic
Name: Oliver Roche.
Nicknames: Ollie, Roach (childhood nickname).
Age: Seventeen; Senior; December 31st.
Sexuality: Heterosexual.
Gender: Cismale.
Faceclaim: Austin Butler.
Power: Immortality: Following exposure to the "stars," Oliver's body underwent one fundamental change... immortality. Unlike comic-book beliefs and interpretation, Oliver's immortality isn't as one would initially imagine. His healing is still average, equally susceptible to injuries and illnesses, and gains no real physical advantages. In his case though, Oliver has to actually die for his ability to take action, in which his body enters a cocoon-like state. He has to hibernate in said cocoon for just over a week before being brought back to life, completely healed of whatever ailment or injuries killed him.
Unfortunately in Oliver's case, he's unaware of this gift. It's not everyday people kill themselves to attain super powers. And so unless killed eventually, he continues to believe he's just another regular guy.
Lastly, though he can resurrect from most wounds, separation of his brain or heart would render his body's instinct to return to life null.
Persona
Personality:
Oliver always carries himself with calmness and poise wherever he goes. He knows how to stay relaxed in most any situation, and use his words and cunning to his advantage. He's near-mastered the art of conversation, and how to draw whatever information or favour he needs, just by tapping into his charm and charisma. He's frequently manipulative, and has no problem using others as pawns in his own grand plan.
Oliver's arrogance and confidence stems from trying to be the best in all he does, all to gain some sort of attention or recognition from his father. Though he'd never admit, Oliver is a softie on the inside, and battles with true self-confidence due to being pushed away by his own father. He often blames himself for his mother's death even though it isn't his fault, and he has a tendency to not completely trust people and is always in search of ways to succeed.
Oliver's likes include money, sex, fashion, drugs, and nice cars. He's prone to focusing on material things, and what would benefit him, more than important intangibles. Though he'd indulge, he's disgusted by caviar, and fish specifically. Oliver is allergic to peanuts.
History
Oliver was born to the self-made millionaire owner, Otis Roche. His father worked years in construction, retail, and low-end jobs mustering up the resources and education needed to invest in the stock market. Eventually, Otis amassed a great wealth, of which he later used to found his own chain of hotels and motels, "Roche Inn." The line of hotels/motels is a staple in Washington since it's Seattle-founding over thirty years ago, and is personally Otis' greatest achievement. Otis came across Oliver's mother, his secretary Stacy Roche whilst still married to his ex-wife. With his former wife barren, and Stacy fruitful and the "joy of his life," Otis remarried to Stacy Roche the same year Oliver was born. Unfortunately, Stacy Roche passed away during child birth, scarring Otis and painting sadness whenever he saw his son.
Growing up Oliver hardly ever saw his father. Away on business trips, handling other matters, Ollie was mostly raised by his nannies and tutors. Alone, Oliver did whatever he could to gain the attention of his father. Winning multiple horse-riding championships, academic scholarships, etc. nothing had ever been enough to please his father. Ollie even began going so much so as to sabotage competition, and manipulate others in order to attain his own success. The issues Oliver faced with his father only continue to linger and haunt him throughout his life.
Oliver Roche is a Wilmont native, having been raised there in his father's hopes of avoiding the limelight till he was of age. Still, he's amassed a notoriety for being a massive player, spoiled brat, and manipulative jock.
relationships
Otis Roche: His only true family, the relationship between Oliver and his father is a very strained one. Otis hasn't appeared at one of Oliver's birthday parties (extraordinary, to say the least) in three consecutive years. "Business trips."
