Juli was walking through the least desolate and destroyed part of town. Her platinum hair hung round her shoulders and back. It stood out on her Metallica black album tee-shirt, her black shorts and boots. Vampires and werewolves were mainly in charge of re-building and in the last ten or so years that had done well. Food production was doing well to support the people. Living spaces were being build all the time however usually more than one family lived in each. Clothes were being produced but old prints being used evident by her top although Music from all eras was popular now as not much was made any more and old music was being produced. Again under vampire werewolf building.

As Juli came to pass an alley she heard and argument and turned to look. A vampire was terrorising a couple of young human teenagers with a demon it seemed. The demon girl walked up behind them, frowning.

It seemed that the world was trying to rebuild itself after the fall of man. Vampires and Wolves alike rebuilt what was lost, and for the first time in eons there was a general peace on the earth. Mankind was always so destructive, yet they had the potential to do great things. That is why I felt sorry for them, the corrupted few ruled the world and now the past has been washed away. I walked the still destroyed part of the city and found Humans hiding here and there, surviving in their own little communities. Strange times these were, for in the past our kind once walked in the shadows. I eventually came to a point where there was a vampire pestering a couple of humans, I decided to sit and watch and if things got out of hand then I would intervene.

She tapped the vampire on the back making him turn. Since Juli had recently harvester a soul her veins were very much filled with human blood. This masked her demon scent. It wasn't a thing she was going for it just happened. He grabbed her arm, thinking her human and an easy target. She had distracted them from the humans, which is what she wanted, but they would not go. 'I should have a second peson really, damn.' She thought as she grabbed the vampires wrist with her other arm and pulled to get him off.

Lorgar:

I sat there and watched a bit longer, then out from nowhere a girl arrived and wrenched the vampires hand who tried to grab hold of her. Looks like there is something to do this day after all. I jumped down from the roof of the building on the other side of the vampires from the girl. "You know its not a fair fight, a handful of vampires against a young lady" With that I sprinted forwards and my fist meet a vampires chest, falling to the ground another tried to come at me. I turned him aside and kicked the one I had forced to the ground.

There being only two of them Juli a bit to her annoyance didn't get to fight. She sighed but was thankful for the help. That vampire on its own felt a bit too strong. She was out of practice. After the new person had come made the mortals move. Once they were gone she could sense this was an angel as she stood behind him.

"Thank-you. I have a feeling they were going to over power me eventually." She looked at the currently unconscious vampires. "I can dispose of them if you would like. It is not in an angel's nature for those tasks is it.

Lorgar:

As she spoke I thought back to before the fall, Angels didn't kill, not even for the right reason. This new world had seen the old ways start to die out, now instead of guardians of the weak, we are now enforcers of the law. "Not really no. At least it shouldn't be" I spoke more to myself then rather to her as I said those last few words. She was a Demon, or at least that's what I could tell about her as of this moment. She was a little shorter then I was, and younger seeing as she was a Demon yet she didn't immediately resent his presence, or his help. "make it quick please" I said with slight concern for those that had just fallen.

Juli nodded and waited for the angel to turn away. At the point he had she lent down and snapped their necks, pulling the head from the body. Doing one then the other. The demon got no negative emotions from this, no guilt nor disgust, just pleasant feelings. The girls eyes went icy-blue but the blood lust she fought back already having lost control to it recently, she did not need to again. Went done she cleaned her hands with the vampire clothes that now lay over only ash. Rising to her feet she looked to the man before her.

"It is done." She moved away from the ash.

Lorgar:

I heard the sounds of their necks snapping and i knew what was happening. I turned towards her after it was all done, "Thank you" I said I was within a few feet of her and that's when I smelled it. She smelled like a demon, she also smelled male, yet the girl before her right now was obviously a girl. For a few seconds I sat there trying to see if it was something that he had simply missed. "we best not dally, I think the Vampires will be less then happy with what has just happened" I said thinking the Vampires shouldn't take some of their own getting killed.

"Is there a reason you are starring?" She asked watching him as he thought about what he smell on the and the fact there was the scent of male as well as female. "They should teach their inferiors how behave." The demon's furrowed her brow as she spoke but nodded. "Very well though." Juli started walking, not really needing an answer to her question, it was more just to get him to stop. Her eye and returned the dark brown colour they usually were. Pulling a band from the pocket of her shorts, Juli started to tie a pony tail in her hair. Not really worried if the new angel was going to follow her or not, she knew that older angels and demons, like she had smelt on him, didn't like each other young or new. It seemed ingrained in them. She had hate for neither race just individuals of each that seemed to judge or dislike her. Most demons didn't get on with new demons the difference in views and actions was not greatly different but just enough it seemed.

Lorgar:

I snapped back to reality and fell into step behind her. "What exactly are you?" I asked as she was tying up her pony tail. "You are a demon but a kind that I have never encountered before, and on top of that one that is willing to even fight for mortals." She was an interesting one to say the least, and a down right mystery to say the most. Sense the fall nothing was normal, and many couldn't adjust to what was around them anymore. Many from all sides, people of status and purpose, were all laid low by the winds of change. I thought this would be a better world, and in some ways it is, but in others its far worse. Under the surface here lay the heart of the problem, war, and people never change.

When her hair was done Juli looked back at him. She smiled. Mystery to her was a fun thing she enjoyed it. "I am just a demon. A young one. I don't hold any values the older beings do from old times." She moved to walk beside him when he had caught up to her. She knew the problems of the old world that she had heard about but this would seemed to have them too just some better advantages too. If she was truly honest though she preferred the world she had now then the sound of the recent past. "What exactly are you?" She asked him back.

Lorgar:

"I am an angel, back when we had titles I was a seriphem, highest of angels. Now I am just another angel. My name is Lorgar, and who might you be?" I asked as we walked on. Things like this were more common now then in the past, for back then there were so few of us. I smiled as I. Reached out my hand after my introduction

"It depends but right now you can call me Juli." She took his hand. "Nice name I haven't heard it before. No the title Seriphem," She appreciated an angel that talked to her without disdain and that he was older too.

Lorgar:

I took her hand in mine and gave it a light kiss, I might as well be polite"well meet Julie"that's when I noticed her choice of words "what do you mean?" I asked her refering to her choice of words, it was odd to use those words in that way refering to yourself.

Juli's eyes widened not expecting a kiss on the hand. She pulled it away quickly. "I am not sure what you mean, unless you are asking about my name." A smile slipped across her lips. "As I said I would prefer you call me Juli but if you do so prefer my true name is Damon," she raised her eyebrows for a moment. Her ice-blue, pupiless, eye flashed at him momentarily.

Lorgar:

I was a little shocked at her pulling her hand away, yet it was not new to me. Plenty of people in this new world didn't know manners nor care for them. "Well I shall call you Julie then" I said as we continued to walk. "You'll excuze my manners"

She shook her head. "My lack of manners. I am used to a hand shake sorry." Juli smiled at the fact he would call her Juli. "Thank-you. Now my question for you. What were you doing on the roof? You weren't just randomly walking over the top were you." She continued to walk the the almost empty streets. It was getting night and no human wanted to be out then. Not these days, however that was all she knew. The underground night life of humans was fun but lacked what she heard it used to have. she had never tried supernatural night life. There were to many people stronger than her there. She didn't like that.

Lorgar:

"I am a watcher more or less, other then that I help where I am needed" I had walked these streets and many others in the time following the fall and finally some resemblance of familiarity was returning. The night life of the big cities was returning, and I was at home watching the night roll on from the back of the house, listening to life's stories and finding people of true merit in the darkness. "Other then that I spend a great amount of the nights at the clubs that are around, before and after the fall" We walked the grime and ruined back alleys of the city, heading right towards its heart.

She looked round all of this only familiar as rubble and how it stands today. She looked back at him and nodded. That made sense she had heard angels had been watchers before their fall. He must still be in that mind set. She titled her head shocked an angel in a club wasn't something she imagined, more dark creatures in them. "The clubs? Are they fun? I mean don't they embody things you believe to be wrong?" Juli asked genuinely curious about this. Not that she know what supernatural night clubs were like only human.

Lorgar:

angels on earth walked a fine line, on one side righteousness, on the other was corruption, and we all walked the line down here in the mortal world. "You will find it interesting what you find in the dark places of this world" I looked at her as we walked down the ways a little it started to look a little more like city streets, rather then a crumbling ruins. "If you want I can show you one of the clubs that are around the area?" we were getting close to one of the smaller ones, then again what club was really all that small? "we are coming up to one soon" I said as I looked over to her once again, her eyes were oddly light in color for a demon, and I don't know why I didn't notice it before.

Her eyes turned back to their deep brown as he brought her back from her thoughts. "If that would not be putting you out I think I would like to go." The word small didn't sound right for a nightclub. Even the human's underground ones weren't small and supernaturals liked everything much bigger than humans, entertainment wise. "Small doesn't seem the right word however." She smiled at him, Getty more comfortable. Her body language showed it at the muscles she had tensed loosened.

Lorgar:

I laughed a little form her comment "That is true enough, this is one of the smaller ones by comparison, it use to be an old parking garage before the fall, now its a multi-floored party house lit like the fourth of July." I motioned towards a building that, in a humans vision looked like it was glowing with light off in the distance, to us we could see the floors and all the lights therein "Thats the place, and it looks like the party has started already" We soon started to hear the sounds of the heavy beat from down the street.

She smiled and nodded, looking to where he pointed it seemed crowed and lively. Never had she seen supernaturals like this and she wasn't sure how fun it would be for her, even the human's ones she found a bit much when she was posing as he human to find souls that were to be taken. She smiled and nodded listening to the music and noise, zeroing in one peoples conversations to hear what they were talking about. Juli rolled her shoulder bladed and her neck starting to get uncomfortable. It became uncomfortable for both Juli and Damon in human form if they were in the opposite form to long. Juli had started to feel like Damon about ten minutes into their walk and now they were almost at the club her body was getting restless wanting to be male now or demon. Both Juli and Damon could be in demon form indefinitely even when they swapped with each other as the demon form was genderless.

Lorgar:

I saw something that resembled nervousness emulating from her. "If your nervous you dont have to be, our kinds are more then welcome here and even in our more natural forms, although I have never seen an angel in their true form in any club but many demons do." I pointed out the door as we came closer, the music could be heard from blocks away like a roaring wind threatening to tear the world apart. I could feel the bass in my feet going up into my legs. I looked towards her once again "I for some reason love the feeling of that bass" trying to make a little of small talk while they walked the last little bit before the door.

juli again nodded however she felt uncomfortable changing form in front of people. She would find a quiet place in the club. "i have only seen a angel's true form once. She looked at the angel thinking and feeling the beat. She liked it too something about it making the body vibrate was nice to her. She felt it vibrating up though her legs and in her chest where her heart would be. "I do too." She smiled and went in with him. The lights and brightness amazed her as well as all the different species mingling.
