General Appearance: He typically dresses in a white collared shirt and black vest, though their style varies. Paired with slim black pants.


Strengths: Persuasion, Agility, Balance


Weaknesses: He isn't physically strong, his skin is incredibly fair and sensitive to the light (due to his skin and hair having very little pigmentation to protect it from the sun's harmful rays)


More: He has good posture, though when on the tightrope he always walks with his toes pointed forward and his arms slightly outward to try and keep his balance.


MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS

Dislikes: Being made to do things he hates or thinks he can't do, being told 'no', people treating him like he's hateful (especially if their reasoning is because he's a demon), seeing people cry (especially if he accidentally caused the tears).

Inabilities: Making people stop crying, cooking, giving advice.


Fears: He's afraid of heights but too stubborn to admit it, especially with his job as a tightrope walker.


General Personality: When happy or relaxed, he comes across as a charming and persuasive person. But once something doesn't go how he's used to, he is stubborn to a fault, making him difficult to convince of anything he's against doing. If he sees something he thinks he can't do, he's more likely to yell about how it's impossible than to actually give it a try. His short fuse can make his expression go from a coy smile to a frustrates scowl in the blink of an eye.


Inner Personality: He really wishes he had at least someone who he could get along with well. After his brother was gone, he became lonely, but his obstinate outer personality makes it hard to reach out to others even though he desperately wishes to.


Fondest Memory: One day when he was sitting on a rooftop with his big brother, and his brother held his hand firmly to make sure he wouldn't be worried about falling. They would just sit at the top of the world and watch the tiny humans moving along the streets below them.


Biggest Regret: The one day he told his brother that he was too old to be holding his hand was the same day his brother fell off the building into the streets below. When he got to the ground floor, there was no sign of his brother. No indents in the cement, no blood or body and most confusing of all, no witnesses on that crowded street. He blames himself to this day.


Secret: That he sleeps with a rabbit doll that his brother gave him as a child. It makes him feel less lonely.

Special Items: His black rabbit doll which has deep blue eyes and really soft fluff. he DEFINITELY doesn't cuddle it at night. That would be stupid.


Weapons: His nails become sharp when needed and can be used as defense, he is decent with any sort of blunt object he could swing at someone to defend himself, but he's not really a fighter.


Magics: Persuasion (It works only on those who don't know he's a demon). This can be something simple as having someone let him off the hook about late homework or making someone tell the truth when they otherwise might have hidden it, to as complicated as telling someone to walk into moving traffic and they let themselves be killed (not that he would go to such an extreme) He also has the power to make light dimmer, which helps with his skin irritation, but is incredibly obvious and could cause problems if used in front of others.


HISTORIC BACKGROUND


General History: He never knew his parents, or at least has no recollection of them. His older brother was the one to raise him in the city, constantly teaching him how dangerous it would be to let humans know of his demonic existence. It was also from his brother that he learned that he should not do things that might give him away,even if it means coming off as stubborn. This continued toward anything Kalil didn't want to do, making him a very stubborn child and causing him to be home schooled.


Present Life: After his brother's disappearance, Kalil wandered into the woods, finding himself at the mythical circus. At first he was apprehensive, but an eager stage hand dragged him there and he found himself quickly melting into the background, as if he'd always been a part of such a scene.


Special Historic Notes:


-Brother teaches him to appear human-like


-brother gives him a plush rabbit doll


-brother teaches him about other forms of magic


-Brother shows him the sky and how even though they're alone, the world is so much bigger than them


-Goes to school and gets bullied for his sensitivity to sunlight.

-Loses his brother and cements his fear of heights


-Wanders in the woods


-Finds the circus


-Slowly gets used to the circus life


-Becomes a tightrope walker as a tribute to the heights his brother loved

-Decides that he needs to work hard to bring more smiles to people's faces.


-Sees a child fall and skin their knee. He panics internally, but his face looks scary so the child cries...someone else eventually helps.
