According to Sensei, you have to be born with things like Magic Crests and Magic Circuits or something like that to be able to be adept in magic, but I was born with neither of those. Sensei just happens to be a magus, but she's not literally my teacher or anything. It's just that she hates her name," Shiki chuckled sheepishly, adjusting his glasses, "Though I do have a magic trick of my own, and while it's nowhere near as impressive as having my own big bear, it still gets the job done, should any of those Crossed freaks attack."
