"Did you hear what happened?"

"To who?"

"Y'now, the Bat."

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"The...the Batman..."

"Oh, the Batman. What about him?"

"They say he's dead."

"Dead? What? He's Batman! He can't be dead!"

"Haven't seen him since Bane took over Gotham. They say that he's dead."

"Did they show his body?"

"No. But Bane took over Gotham's shit and broadcasted an image over all the TVs and stuff."

"What was the image?"

"Well..."

Hey there, it's me! Mr. Blonde, here to remind you that hey:

Don't be an overpowered bitch, or you might just end up like that poor soul in the chair. The Rule of this roleplay will be coming quite soon, also. I will post them up at around 11:00, which is about forty minutes from now.
Just a heads up, could the roleplay begin tommorow like at 4-5?
I'll probably decide on when the roleplay will start when we get a few more people. As of now I don't believe we even have twenty, much less 35-40.

Yeah, but unfortunately not everybody has posted their characters yet, so we're currently waiting on them and hopefully some new faces. :/

"Hello there, Gotham City! Now that you are all under my command, I need to lay down some ground rules! If you do not comply, I will kill you, then toss your corpse in to the icy ocean."

1.) A fair warning for all: You will be VERY BORED if you don't find someone to interact with, and I'm certain of this. I've ran RP events like this for -years-, and the key to success is character interaction. Therefore, you will need to find a partner, if you don't have one, I'll find one for you.

2.) So no one is ignored, I highly suggest you skim over other people's post. You don't necessarily have to read it all, but look for your character's name! Someone may want to talk to yah.

3.) If you're a traitor, all kills are done via PM -and- after the collaboration of your fellow traitors as to who to kill. In no way are you allowed to tell what your role is to anyone, doing so will result in immediate expulsion from the Murder event. Oh, and one final thing, if you're a traitor: Pray you aren't caught, lest you be subject to the mercy of the players.

4.) If you're not aware, if you're sentenced to die by a traitor via PM... it's an insta-death! But don't fret! Once you die, there's an “afterlife” game, whose plot will be told once the first player death occurs, and eventually, you'll find your way back to the players!

5.) I can guarantee you the first day will be absolute CHAOS. Why? People will be writing prologues, trying to find partners, etc. So, like #2, try to find a partner ASAP, keep calm, and try to skim through everyone's post, searching for your name. Eventually, as the Murder game continues on, it'll come at a steady pace... well, maybe not, there are a ton of people.

6.) There will be moments where I ask players NOT to post; this is usually before large updates or mid-round updates. Please comply!

7. )Please, -please-, no godmodding. Refer to Mr. Blonde up above.

8.) As much as I'm overjoyed (I really mean it!) with everyone's participation in my Murder event, please try to be active. You don't have to dedicate hours on in to this game, it literally lasts a -month-, so you're in it for the long-run. If you can post once a day, that's perfectly fine... but, of course, the more posts, the merrier!

READY FOR THE NEW ONES?

9.) So, how will the traitors be handled in this one? Well, try this: The traitors in your little personal group are carrying badges. These badges are the only way to figure out who the traitor is! These badges are basic police badges with Bane's name scribbled over them with black marker. However, with these new badges, the traitors may tag other players with the badges, making them seem like traitors. Please notice that this can only happen ONCE per round, from only one traitor. The traitor will still have another badge on them even when they tag another player. You will not know if a player is a tagged innocent or a real traitor! You must try and decide this for yourself. Their fate lies in your hands. Also, there will be an unknown amount of traitors. -evil laughter commences-

That new rule...I love it. That is a fantastic way of making things even more interesting. Hopefully it will work out well.
