The Mental Health Club - A high school “club” dedicated to mental illnesses.

You're a high school student, and whether you like it or not, you have a mental health issue. Be it schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, autism, whatever, it affects your life in a major way. Thankfully, you learned of a group of people at your school who also have mental illnesses, who started a support group of sorts, a “mental health club”, whose members get together on a regular basis to talk, go places, and have fun with people who understand you and your issues.

Nova made her way through the day awkwardly. She didn't like school, it was too... serious for her tastes. The teachers didn't like to be interrupted, and interrupting was kind of her thing. At lunch, she sat in the corner of a hallway, talking and laughing to herself.


After school she made her way to the cafe down the road from the school, the usual meeting place for the "club" she and a few other students had made. She got a table, ordered a coffee, and began to wait.

Hazel had a rather calm day, nobody gave her a hard time and she kept quiet and in the background, so that meant (so far) no "switches" today. She quietly left class last. The teachers here never seemed to notice her because of how quiet she usually always is, but the are all fully awear of her condition. Hazel put her hoddie on and went to the meeting spot for the "club". She quietly came up to her and sat down on the chair across from the dirty blond hair girl. Nova always seemed to have a smile on her face and always seemed be quiet friendly. Hazel had only moved here a week or so ago, and Nova was one of the rare people that ever heard her speak, at least as Hazel.


"Hi," she said barely above a whisper.
