Monsters, Demons, and Humans are the species choices.
Monsters are basically any creature that lives off of eating and consuming humans; like vampires, zombies and ghouls. Because of previous events there are very few monsters in the world vampires being the most in number but only having two family’s worth, which is like 10 vampires total. Zombies are created by vampire as their slaves and servants. Ghouls have no real life to lose so they are just angry starving husks.
Demons are harder to explain, but they come in clans and tribes and take on a more animal characteristic like wolves, foxes, snakes and birds, etc. They all have special powers based on their clan type and where they live. Wolves also have the ‘Curse of the Beast’ other words, a werewolf every few generations.
Humans are only one of two things; spiritualists and normal. Spiritualists can sense energy, exercise demons, and purify monsters. There are only a handful of people who have this power and even fewer who know about it. Normal humans have since began development on weapons to get rid of the monsters and demons.
