Suave and headstrong, Orv isn't the stereotypical leader. He may have been first out, but he rarley usues it to influence otuer people into following him. He simply minds his own business, does his own thing, and doesn't really care if you thinks he gives a klunk.


Grievers beware, he's as brave as he is headstrong and is known for wandering around the maze behind closed doors by himself. The insanity factor is nearly always there, lurking behind his subconscious.

Warrior- A warrior's job is to guard each section of the glade during the day as the runners go about, armed in case either the runner in that section or themselves are attacked. They work closely with Lawkeepers to enforce justice. (Keeper)

History:

"I hate being first."

Of all of his years in the Glade, Orv has been plagued by one simple but unnervingly present thought- He had a brother. Of course, He's been labeled the crazy one for all of his rambling about the subject... It bothers a lot of the Gladers, most of the time. Orv was the first greenie, tossed into the hell hole on his own, and some say that this is the reason he's lost his mind. Others dislike the fact that the man still has hope, has one more piece of his past besides his name. Nevertheless, his experience with the deadly Grievers (and his uncanny ability to kill them off) has saved lives countless time. It's for this reason that he is the Keeper of the warriors, fighting alongside the runners inside the glade to kill the beasts before they return the favor.

Brief Personality: Silla might come off as cold, when you first meet her. Or when you meet her for the second time. Or the third. Okay, fine, she is "cold". She only talks when necessary, and she doesn't smile, much less laugh. She doesn't see any reason to, being trapped in this shucking maze. She prefers being alone and keeping to herself. But maybe if you're able to get to know her, able to be her friend, you'll see a warmer side of her. Just maybe. She's very intelligent, though. That's one of the reasons the Creators named her after Queen Seondeok of Silla, one of the wisest and most intelligent queens in history. She has photographic memory, and she has great judgement- she knows when to fight or flee. Also a reason why she's the top Runner. Just keep in mind- don't underestimate her. Don't let her beauty fool you. She can kick your shuck bum.

Personality:

Artistically intelligent, Bram was always one to think his way out of tough situations. He would never enter a situation without first knowing exactly what he was getting in to. He also has the strange ability to evaluate people, deducing their intentions as soon as he'd lay eyes on them. He has a very light quality about him, though he can be as cold as dry ice when the situation demands it of him. He enjoys observing everything around him and drawing conclusions from this, as well as solving seemingly impossible puzzles. He created the first maps of the maze, the basis from which all runners went by.

Position:

He'd be considered a Lawkeeper...he came up with most of the regulations for the glade, as well as the names for their locations, though he also did quite a bit of running.

History:

Bram came up in the box at the same time that Orville did. The two boys were wary of each other at first, but learned to work together. Bram had a huge part in shaping Glader terminology and the early exploration and mapping of the maze. While his partner was more suited towards dealing with the initial security of the Glade, as well as building and inventing, Bram balanced him out. He was an extremely intuitive being, tending to run through the maze and memorize every crevice, creating maps from that he could remember, and then going back for more. He'd often stay up late in the old map room before it was rebuilt by later Gladers, studying the maps and adding in notes for whomever might come after him, until Orville coaxed him to bed. The regulations that the Lawkeepers abide by were literally straight from his mind and experience, as Bram's ability to think ahead often worked in his favor. He was also fairly skilled in agriculture.


The two did indeed eventually fall for each other, but of course, the Glade would never allow such happiness. A terrible accident ended Bram's life, and almost completely damaged Orv's mind. When Orville was stung by a Griever, he thought he was going to die. Bram knew that without some kind of treatment, the man he loved would be gone, yet there was nothing in the supplies they had been given to help. As always, a Griever sting causes the person stung to hallucinate, see things from their past, and most of the time exhibit aggression against anyone in the area.


Bram died at the hand of his lover, refusing to leave Orv's side even as the man strangled him until his body went limp.
