About six hours later, Snow walked in and said “Honey I’m home!” While he was out, he had picked up the ring he was going to use to propose to Harlow

When you got home I was upstairs getting ready for our date and I was so excited because we were celebrating something big for you. While you were at work my debit card came in and I set it up with an app on my phone to monitor my money. I come downstairs when you call out to me and I jump into your arms smiling happily. “I’ve missed you so much! How was work?” I say after peppering your face with kisses.

Snow smiled and said “Work went by faster than I expected. Both books should be on the shelves by the middle of next week. I also got the first copy of each book today.”

I squeal in excitement and I giggle. “And if I get a job at the library I can put your books on the shelf and tell everyone that’s my future husband.” I smile happily and I kiss you softly. “Can I see the books? I know I’ve read them but I want to see the official cover and book.”

 

[SnowAshe]

Snow set his computer bag on the couch and pulled the two books out. The first was a bit thicker than the second one, but both were around four hundred and fifty pages long. He was quite proud of them and couldn’t wait to start on his next project.

I grab both of the books when you get them out and I smile happily. “These are going to blow up I just know it. You’re so creative and I’m so proud of you.” I give you a passion kiss before looking down at the books and really analysing them. “Are you doing any social media promotions for them? I could be your social media person if you need help.”

 

[SnowAshe]

Snow nodded and said “That’d be great. I might get you to help manage my page for the YouTube channel as well on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Between work and writing I don’t have much time to manage it anymore.”

 

[KingsleyAdams2000]

“I’d love to help you with all of that stuff. I’d say I’m pretty good at social media.” I begin flicking through one of the books and I was amazed at how good it looked printed on the pages. I couldn’t stop smiling and thinking about how proud I was. “Everyone’s going to know your name.” I put your books down and I smile. “Oh I have such wonderful news! So I called my parents today and they said they’ll give me money for the wedding dress that I want. I’m so excited and I can’t wait for you to see it. We’d have to go back to where my parents are for the gown but I was thinking maybe me and Julie could have a girls day and hang out out there.”

 

[SnowAshe]

Snow smiled and said “That’s great! I know Julie is off this weekend. Cassie also said that she could see you on Monday about possibly getting hired up at the library. David, Theo, and I are going to be working this weekend on the beginning of our new series as well.”

I was glad everything was working out so far and I was so happy with our lives right now. “Great I can’t wait to show her the dress too I know she’ll love it. I can’t wait to start learning how to work at the library. Maybe sometimes I can come to your office and we could have lunch together.” I give you a soft kiss and I smile. “Let’s go eat now.”

Snow smiled and led her out to his truck by the hand and opened the door for her before going and getting in and starting the truck and driving back to town.

I climbed into the car with you and intertwine our fingers between the seats. “Where are we going tonight?” I asked as you drive and I lean my head on the window. “I need to learn to drive. It’ll be so much easier for us in the future.”

Snow smiled and said “It’s a surprise. And I’m going to teach you soon don’t worry. Although I quite like driving you around.”

(My grandpa never let my granny drive. He always drove her around lol)

“I can tell that you do but my parents want me to learn to be independent and I’ve had someone drive me around my whole life so I don’t think they’ll see that as independents. Also when we have kids I’ll be able to take them to school sometimes when you have to work.” I say with a little shrug and I play with your fingers. “I’ll learn to drive but only drive when it’s necessary how about that?”

Snow smiled and said “Yeah..I’m not going to have you working forever though. When we have kids one of us should be at home. I’m making enough to support us and I’m working on saving up so we can eventually get a bigger house. I’m also planning on having a part of the house for a studio.”

I listen closely to your words and I tilt my head a little bit. “So you want me to be a stay at home mom? I guess I could do that.” I hadn’t thought about it before but I guess my life has always been set up with me not working and I hadn’t thought about working when I’d become a mom. “I don’t know how to do all of the stay at home mom things though like cook and clean.”

“I can teach you to do those things. And Julie was always one who took to looking after kids naturally. When she has kids she’s planning on staying home while the kids are young and then as they get older going back to work. I’m sure she wouldn’t mind helping out either.”

((Just got home))

“Well I don’t want to have help all the time because they’ll be my children but it’ll definitely help with the loneliness when it comes to being home all day. We can have a bunch of play dates together it’ll be really fun.” I could imagine it now with our children hanging out together and us just talking and hanging out.

It wasn’t long before they pulled up to the restaurant and parked. Snow got out and opened the door for her and took her hand as they walked inside. It was a nice restaurant, yet not expensive, and it was one that Snow hadn’t been to in years.

The restaurant looked nice when we pulled up and it wasn’t expensive but wasn’t cheap by any means either. I happily walk holding your hand and I squeeze it softly occasionally. Once we are inside we are seated at a table for two and given the menus. I let go of your hand to grab the menu and I begin scanning through it. “What are you thinking of getting?”

Snow thought about for a minute and said “The ribs are really good here. Even dry, they still have enough moisture and flavor to not need anything else. I haven’t had ribs in a while...what are you thinking about getting?”
