Fantasy The Mansion of Neko

Kiy stared to slowly eat his food to enjoy every bite and inbetween bites he mumbled,"Nice to meet you two."

He glanced over at the kitten for a moment and continued eating but silently thought to himself Aurora is beautiful. He tried to not to stare but he kept looking over at her and blushing, hoping she wouldn't notice.

He continued the conversation by asking,"Where are you from?"

It would only take a couple of seconds for Adrian to finish the bread roll he had grasped earlier. Chewing on the soft substance, he was able to detect a gentle vanilla taste, which was just sweet enough for his tastes. Knowing that he had dealt with his hunger, he should probably return to his room to take a short nap. Unlike others, the morning would drain the energy from his form.

Deciding to leave the others to their ways, he headed out of the room. Turning his head around the foyer for a moment, only to spot a male upon the grand stairs. "Hey...You alright there?" Adrian questioned with a somewhat soft tone, his wings half-stretched out as he stood in place.

Sorosis was still in the basement. He was really hungry, and hadn't eaten in quite a number of days. His last drink of water was two days ago, and he felt weak. He made soft groaning sounds.

James turned to the taller male with wide eyes. "Um..." His ears flicked back briefly, how had he not heard this guy coming? "Yeah... I'm alright. Just waiting for the crowd to thin out down there." He gestured vaguely in the direction of the kitchens. "I'm not really one for crowds." He paused for a moment. "It's nice to meet you by the way, I'm James."

He blinked in response to the other's surprise, wondering if it was the appendages upon his back that brought confusion or his height. He brought a hand up to his head, running his somewhat long nails through his dark hair to straighten out any stray strands. "Oh, okay then. I can go back in and get you something if you want." Adrian offered, moving a small distance away from the doorway so his wings would not block any sunlight from entering the room. A small smile made it's way onto his lips, nodding steadily at the other's introduction. "It's a pleasure, James. I'm Adrian von Cobzaru."

"Australia," Aurora replied, her accent becoming evident. She never was able to hide her accent when people asked her the question. She finished her food and looked over at him. I don't even know his name, but he's very attractive she thought to herself. She got up and put her plate in the sink before sitting back down.

Kiy followed her to the sink and put his dishes and the others dishes in the sink as she did and sat down with her again. He scooted his chair a little closer to the table for a ltitle more comfort and said,"I'm from the UK." He eased his back forward and asked her,"How old are you? I'm 15."

"I'm 17 and I never got your name," Aurora said as she stuffed her hands in her lap and sat back. She gave a small smile and got back up, quickly getting a glass of water and sat back down. She slowly started sipping on her water as she swung her tail from side to side and laid one of her ears flat against her head.

"I'm Kiyoshi Mamoru, but you can call me Kiy,"He replied calmly.

Kiy got up and poured another half cup of coffee and sat back down. He started moving his tail in a swaying motion and folded his ears down and back. He then asked her,"What kind of stuff are you into?"

"Music mainly. And food," Aurora said, shrugging her shoulders. She finished her drink and stood up. "Always nice to make a friend," she added before giving everyone a small smile and walking out. She made her way out the door and to the woods before deciding to walk along the edge.

Kiy grinned back at her and watched as she exited the room. He had an extreme urge to follow her but he resisted and went back down to his room. He cracked open his manga and began to read but was interupted by the thought of what she said.

Always nice to make a friend

He was very happy to know he had someone to rely on but secretly he knew he wanted to be a little more than friends.

Tanami decided a walk wouldn't hurt him, and it could give him a chance to communicate with his friend. He followed her out and to the edge of the forest. "So... what made you come to this place?" He asked with a soft smile on his face.

Aurora jumped slightly, not hearing him follow her out. "Boredom I guess. And I needed new friends. My old ones started getting too...boring," she said as she kept walking, slightly slowing down. Her ears flattened as a breeze brushed her face and she smiled.

He laughed. "Well, I see your life has been pretty boring so far. I'm glad you came here..." He smiled again. He swished his tail around in the air, and his ears twitched.

"I like it so far. It seems pretty laid back," Aurora admitted laughing a bit. She glanced over at him, then looked back ahead of her. "But no matter how many friends I have, Aphrodite is always my best friend," she said, smiling at the thought of when she first found the kitten.

He nodded. "Glad you like it, Aurora." Tanami walked up a bit so he was next to her. "And I'd have to say your kitten is pretty cute!" He said, remembering it from breakfast.

Aurora smiled widely, "Thanks. I found her on the side of the road. She couldn't have been more than a couple weeks old. She would have been dead within 24 hours." A small, sad frown brushed her face as she remembered the details of that day.

Abu woke up on the floor near his bed and the sun glaring down at him with his windows open forced him to get up and brush his teeth. He went to the closet and picked some clothes off the floor that he left the other day.It was a simple sweat pants and white-t shirt. He then noticed all the noise coming from under him. He realized how hungry he was and ran down as quickly as he could.Without noticing James he tripped and fell down the stairs with a loud thud. "Ow,ow,ow,my bad man i just didn't want to miss breakfast." As he gave him a quick wave and ran to the kitchen got some cereal and poured himself a bowl and started eating

Kiy noticed a loud thud that came from upstairs and decided to go investigate. He once again climbed the ladder up to the main floor and saw another person walk into the kitchen. He followed him into the room and introduced himself once again with,"Hi, I'm Kiy."

Half of his cereal in his mouth he barely managed to say "Hi,i'm Abu". He then gobbled down the rest of his cereal threw the bowl and spoon in the sink.He went into a cabinet and grabbed a granola bar that he was saving.

"Well then, Aurora. You're a wonderful person for doing that. I can't believe people can be so cruel to animals..." He looked down sadly. "It breaks my heart..."

"Yea... I have a question. Do you know where a piano is?" She asked timidly looking at the visually striking guy walking with her. She was in the mood to play something and maybe write some songs.

"You play?" He asked happily. "I have one in my room, for I play as well!" He grabbed her hand and said, "C'mon, I'll show you!" He looked at her and smiled warmly.

"Umm yea but not in front of people," Aurora said looking down. "Terrible stage fright," she admitted as her cheeks turned bright pink. She wasn't particularly proud to admit it but it was truthful.

"Aw, c'mon. I'm sure you're great! You know me well enough to know that I won't make fun of you!" He grinned. "Don't make me carry you to my room!"
