The Mage's Spell.

A spin off Sleeping Beauty.


When cursed as a child by an enemy mage to fuel a war, a princess is to fall asleep. Does it require a kiss to awake her? No, just a spell to reverse the curse. A young mage is the only one who knows this spell. After being awakened, will she fall for him or will they just become friends? Will he fall for her?

That young mages name is Isaac, a brave soul, not to stout but definetly tall, he is a traveler, a healer of sort, and can have the ability to use ancient magic, but he stumbles apon a castle and wonders "what is inside?"

The princess, Sona, is slender. Her eyes are a mysterious gold that merchants many, but they are a factor of a curse. She isn't short and she isn't tall. Her golden brown hair covers a pillow and her eyes are shut. She is asleep.

Isaac slips into the castle, looking around gently and looks at the stairs, confused "hello, is anyone there?"

Nothing answered, only silence ringed in the bare halls. The servants had fled, in fear of being executed for treason against the king and queen. The king and the queen were in great dispair, trying to find a way to save their daughter from the slumber. They sat in the dining area,heads hung. Tears spilled from the queen's eyes and the king looked as though the world was about to fall apart. .

 

[The Beasty Incarnate]

He slowly walks in, seeing the two and comes over "ummm, excuse me, is there something wrong?"

 

[Reiyumi]

The king lifted his head and looked at the young male. His stare was empty. The queen raised her head and looked at the newcomer. "O-our daughter. C-cursed."

 

[The Beasty Incarnate]

He gasped, knowing that today was the day he was asked and trained for, he looked at them and described he was one of the last to be able to use ancient magic "I believe that I may be able to help your daughter."

 

[Reiyumi]

The queen looked at him.hopefully. she stood and nodded. "Follow me then." She walked out of the dining area.

 

[The Beasty Incarnate]

He follows, looking around and noticing a lot of new things, and soon sees sona, laying on the bed and he gasps, feeling his cheek flourish with a pink color

The queen looked back at him for a moment. She thought for a moment and turned back to her daughter. "Quite lovely, isn't she?" She brushed a strand of hair from Sona's face and sighed. " I want my lively, playful daughter back. It's not normal to see her so calm and still."

Nods and walks over "I will try my best"


Isaac pulls out a long staff and chants a few words, slowly lifting off the ground and they see her start to breath again

 

[Reiyumi]

The queen looked at him, amazed. Tears came to her eyes, but they were tears of joy and not of sadness.


"M-mother?" a soft and sweet voice said. The queen turned towards her daughter. Sona's eyes fluttered open and she was immediately wrapped into her mother's arms in a tight embrace. "Can't breathe." Sona smiled and laughed a little before hugging her mother.

Isaac simply stands and looks, smiling happily and ,Kong sure everything's alright.

The queen looked at Isaac and nodded. "Thank you." Sona blinked and let go of her mother. She walked up to Isaac and watched him a moment, remaining silent.
