So Callie ran off with Octavio a while back, and he was just like N O
He fought and fought and fought- or, rather, he made agent 3 do it, but whatever
But for some reason, his attitude flipped when she fell with child

You see, also in my head canon is the reason Callie and Marie have such oddly colored tentacles- they were bred to be fighters. But neither of them could really fight, and so news of a second chance, or a fresh start persay got him a bit exited- and so when liam came into the world with tentacles black as night, he knew- this was his new fighter.
She was forced into the NSS at a very young age, all while under the illusion that Cuttlefish was just a supportive grandfather.
But slowly, her mind was being wired. Certain sets of cryptic words meant to fight- or even do something she didn’t want to do with her family’s life as ransom. These words? Mixed up Inkantation lyrics.
Nowadays She can’t hear it without going full attack mode on whoever cuttlefish tells her to.
I even have a version of her story where she ends up murdering Octavio simply because she was hypnotized.
