Work has just started again for me so my days are a little busy. I also run a RP on another site so my attention is divided between projects.

I'm struggling with my concept a bit as well.

Don't worry, I'm not rushing anyone ^^ Probably just too excited for my own good~

Yeah, I haven't either.

Edit- gotten to character creation that is (probably shoulda quoted... oh whale)

Maybe you should tag everyone that expressed interest? Ask them if they are still interested? If so maybe set up a timeline before you open the RP to others that will post? Like the deadline could be this Sunday or such? Could also ask for some OOC activity to keep things lively.

Magic Projection
Magic Projection is a Holder Magic that allows the user to project outwards the magic that is stored within magically-charged Lacrima. These Lacrima are embedded in devices called "Projectors", usually some kind of wearable item or wands, rods and staves. Depending what's stored inside the Lacrima, Magic Projection is categorized into two variants. Aura Magic and Spell Projection.
Aura Magic
Aura Magic utilizes special Lacrima on worn Projectors. They allow the mage to produce auras on themselves for a certain amount of time and provides them with magical enhancements of all kinds. They are separated into three classes Minor, Major and Legendary. They differ on rarity and the power of the boosts they provide. At a time though a mage is able to activate only one kind or a certain combination. The combinations being two Minor or one Major and one Minor. Frequent usage will lead to the Lacrima needing recharging. Taboos of this magic are using Aura Magic to heal yourself and using other people's Projectors.
Further information on the classes:
  • Minor Aura Projectors are the easiest in both availability and use. Most magic stores worth a penny will have some in their store. They are ideal for beginner mages. Minor Projectors provide minor boosts affecting certain areas of the user. They don't need much recharging and they can last really long, considering the skill and experience of the user, even up to an hour!
  • Major Aura Projectors are a bit difficult to get ahold of, but they are worth it. They are usually found as rewards for Jobs, treasure or in giant magic markets, ready for banter or trade. They also can be custom ordered from experienced magic item makers, for a steep price that is. They provide the user with a bigger area of effect, more flexibility, effective boosts and magically enhanced abilities. They need infrequent charge and last for a moderate amount of time. Major Auras can be named after animals or general titles.
  • Finally, Legendary Projectors are mysterious in nature. Extremely rare, only seen in the hands of hardened S-Class Mages. They produce giant, awe-inspiring auras over the user, giving them incredible power and granting them magical abilities. They are extremely taxing though, stressing the mage a lot. They last for extremely short span, up to ten or fifteen minutes, have a limited number of charges before needing to be charged again, can not be used consecutively and only provide the user with powers needed in a battlefield. Legendary Auras are named after and give the powers of heroes of the old, mythical creatures and godly figures.
Spell Projection
Spell Projection, on the other hand, uses magically-charged Lacrima placed on wands, rods and staves. The mage can bring forth whatever Caster Magic is stored inside there with no special training. But, if they are not proficient in the magic, they can't really control it. They can only control the source, the Projector. With time and training the user can control their target and the frequency where the produce the magic. There are two classes of Spell Projectors, Minor and Major, separated by the magic they contain. As with Aura Magic, the Lacrima here also need charging from time to time.
  • Minor Spell Projectors are also easily found and used. They are usually charged with specific elemental magic. When activated they produce a constant, almost uncontrollable stream of the magic stored inside. Needs infrequent charging.
  • Major Spell Projectors are a different deal altogether. The Lacrima have a specific spell stored inside them and once activated it's put in use. Only empty versions be found on the market. To obtain a spell, you have to charge the Lacrima how they're normal done. By storing your magic, or someone else's inside of there. A spell has limited charges before it needs to be charged again, in the same way. Their inaccessibility makes them rarely used.
