The Light of The World

"I want you to get across the room. I don't care how you do it."

He expected that to be enough of a hint, but so far the subject had proven she wasn't the smartest woman.

Luna had and idea. She knew that when she walked forward the floor moved. What if he walked the other way? She tried to walk the other way. She prayed the floor didn't move.

The floor pushed her back everytime she stepped, but only back to where she was before each step. Leo facepalmed. She really was that thick, wasn't she?

"That isn't going to work."

Another idea popped into her head. Backwards! Maybe that would work. She turned around and started going backwards.

Leo facepalmes again. How stupid was she? The floor kept her in the same place as it always had. He couldn't believe she hadn't figured it out yet. Whenever she walked, it kept her in place. So how hadn't she put two and two together?

Luna was starting to give up. She couldn't think of any more ideas. Why couldn't she fly? That gave her another idea. What if she jumped?

Leo glanced at the camera footage uninterestedly. He saw the spark of an idea in her eyes. Hopefully it wasn't as idiotic as her previous ones.

Leo grinned. Finally, she had it. The treadmill didn't push her back, and the door got closer.

Luna was so happy with herself. She smiled and kept jumping and she was getting closer to the door. She knew she would get out now.

It was with joy that he slammed the big red button in front of him. Immediately before she exited the room, the door slammed shut with a metallic "CLANG".

Leo tried to hold it in, but began laughing. It was just too hilarious.

"Hahahahaha! Oh my god, you really though I was lettign you go that easily? No, no, no. I'm afraid it's going to be a lot more difficult than that."

Luna clenched her fist in rage. She started to shake. She got close to the wall and she punched it as hard as she could. She thought she broke her hand. She was mad she didn't know why this man was doing this to her. But the a weird thought popped into her head. What did this mysterious man look like?

"Oh man, this is hilarious. I just still can't believe you fell for it! Classic test subject."

Leo sighed, sitting back in his chair.

"Okay. It's time for the real test one. None of this treadmill bullshit. That was way too easy."

Luna crossed her arms and huffed. "What else do you want me to do?" Had about had it with this man.

"Find a way out. It's that simple."

Leo sat back.

"I'm not even kidding. Think about this for a bit."

Luna thought for a minute. She knew it was a stupid idea but did it anyway. "Will you please let me out?" She tried to be as sincere as she could.
