The Light of The World

Lunalight

Guard Chicky Momma
Luna wakes up and looks around. She is suprised, she doesn't rememeber where she is. "Where am I? What am I doing here?" She askes to no one. The room is dark. She feels around and tries to find a light switch. She finds one and turns the light on. What she sees isn't what she thought she would see.

(Can I do this, or is it private/closed/cancelled/annihilated by the Zulgar(praise Squaz))

Leo had been sitting, watching his test subject wake up from behind a one way mirror. Laughable, almost, how pathetically impossible her situation was. A concrete roof and floor, as well as full concrete walls surrounded her. The small bed and lamp were alone in the room, and there was no door. Leo doubted that she was up to the test. If not, he'd just move on to the next subject. Still... something about her felt inexplicably different than the other testers.

Luna started to walk around looking around her. Only the lamp and bed looked back at her. She could feel something or someone looking at her but she couldn't see anything. She wrapped her arms around herself and sat on the bed. "Is there anybody there? Hello?" She asked.

Leo grinned and pulled the microphone closer to him, setting the broadcast to the speaker in the corner of the roof.

"Hello, Test Subject #445326. Are you ready to begin?"

Luna looked around her trying to find the voice. She called out "Test? What test? Who's there?" She felt her heart beating faster and louder. Her breathing picked up. What was going on?

"All in due time. For now, lets begin."

He flippwd a switch, pulling a section of the concrete into the ceiling and revealing a chamber.

Luna backed up on the bed until her back was against the wall. She looked around her, panic plastered on her face.

Leo sighed.

"Do you really want to do this right now? If you won't participate, ill just bring the next subject in and dispose of you. Unless... you felt a sudden motivation to go..."

Luna let her curiosity get the best of her. "Okay, I give up. What do I have to do oh captor of mine." Luna let her sarcasm out, she was starting to feel like herself again.

"If you could put your two brain cells to work for long enough, I think you'd find going through that door quickly to be satisfactory. Unless not dying from mustard gas is unbearable."

A thick yellow gas began slowly oozing out of the speaker.

"Hurry now. I'd say you have around... ah, twenty seconds to leave."

Luna runs out the door. She doesn't know what's on the other side she just knows she doesn't want to be dead. She thinks to herself "What does this guy want with me? I'm not special"

The door closed behind her. What's inside the room is pure white, seemingly extending out forever, other than the door right across. The floor was manual treadmill; whenever she'd move, itd push the tracks back in that direction, giving the illusion that she was stuck in a infinitely sized room.

Luna shielded her eyes from the blinding white. She started to move to the other side of the room. She wasn't going anywhere. The room was endless.

Leo withheld a chuckle. He supposed the solution was simple enough to those who knew it, but probably not so for the simple-minded test subjects.

Luna felt a sob rise in her throat. She never cried, never in front of people. She fell to the floor and cried. She put her hands over her eyes and sobed.

Leo sighed audibly.

"What is it? Even I expected you to last longer. Don't tell me the psychological effects have already gotten to you."

Luna's head snaps up and she looks around and says "I don't know who you are or what you think you can do, but I'm so much stronger than you think. I just hate not knowing what's going on. It bothers me and I cry sometimes. Thank you very much. She said with a huff and crossed her arms.

Leo raised an eyebrow.

"Well, if you'd stop crying for long enough, it'd be obvious what you'd have to do. If, you are as "strong" as you make yourself out to be."

Luna stood up and wiped her face off and she took a defiance pose. She clenched her fist a her jaw ticked. She raised her hear "What do you want from me? Huh? Whats your plan?"

"We just want information. The way we acquire that is through testing. So, if you'd please continue... I wouldn't want another 'failed subject disposal'.

"Fine." She crossed her arms and popped her hip up. "What would you like me to do?" She said sarcastically.

"I'd like you to not fail the first and easiest test. It'd be a start."

Leo grinned. She obviously didn't have the mental capacity, as he had seen. Even though it was a simple solution, he doubted she'd get it.

"What do you want me to do? Walk across the room?" She said with a laugh. She knew it wouldn't be that easy but she wanted to get out of here.
