I already have a group version of this in the works, but considering how well that's been going and how much more luck I seem to have with 1x1 RPs, I'm trying my luck over here. This RP is based off of an idea I had a while ago, mixing together a bunch of my Fantasy world OCs with the Zelda universe to create a twist on the generic "Link saves Hyrule from Ganondorf" setup. Here's the synopsis from my original Interest Check:
Now for writing level. If you've roleplayed with me in the past, you'll already know this stuff, which will save time as it's a tad specific compared to others I've seen. So, here you go.
I, of course, will follow these rules as well. And, just so you know if you're trying to decide if we'd be a good fit together, my writing style is as such: I tend to write anywhere between 1-4 lines of text, typically. I'll write as much as I reasonably can, but I'm not one for fluff in the slightest. I'll always get straight to the point whenever possible. Also, I absolutely suck at detailing physical descriptions, so keep that in mind ( )
And I believe that's about it. You can play as either Link, another reasonable canon character (e.g. For the Fairy storyline, you could pick Navi or Tatl), or an OC.
This can take place in an alternate-timeline Hyrule, combining areas from all of the games to form one huge land to explore. Or, if we're feeling lazy, we can re-use the Hyrule and story setup from one of the canon games as well (Ocarina of Time's would be the most ideal, I feel).LegoLad659 said:You know how it all goes; Hyrule is a peaceful land ruled by its King (Or princess, if you prefer) before Ganondorf emerges from the shadows once again, and Link has to save the world again. We all know that.
This time, though, the King of Evil isn't alone. There are reports of a demon roaming around the land, and it's suspected that it may be working with Ganondorf. On top of that, a little girl recently entered Hyrule, who is more than she seems, and unknowingly brings along two travelers. In addition, the Fairy World is searching for their lost princess, who disappeared several days ago. Things may not be so simple this time around!

- Replies must be longer than five words. Fairly simple to keep up with, really; I just want to avoid replies like this as much as possible. Suggestions for extending a post? Well, what's your character thinking? Are they paying attention to anything in particular, dividing attention between everything around them, or just spacing out? Perhaps you could introduce a concept/ability/backstory related to what's going on through narration? I won't force you to write blocks and blocks of text, but put some kind of effort into it. Speaking of blocks of text, that brings me to number 2:
- Replies must be shorter than a couple of paragraphs, unless your character is telling a story or something is going on where, logically, nobody would be doing anything but watching/listening. Or even not there at all, that works too! Internal character monologues are immune to this, by the way, as well as narrative descriptions. But if you give me three paragraphs of actions your character is taking while mine is there as well, the only thing that does is make me feel left out. Like I'm reading a story you're writing, and I only have the occasional input on it. Sure, we are technically writing a story, but when I roleplay with someone I want to feel like we're writing said story together. Hand-in-hand, if you will.
