The Legend of Zelda: The Child of Darkness (w/ Flame Demon)

Ashley, hearing Shadow's voice, looks over at her "Oh, hello again." She greeted her, sitting down as well "Is this little guy yours? He seems pretty cool! I wish I could walk through walls - It'd make a lot of things easier."

"It's not cool, it's a phantom wolf, he can touch things when he wants to, but normally only does that when it's needed" Shadow says resting her hand on the wolf's head "Normal people can't touch him either" she says and looks at the water while taking an apple from the basket and taking a bite.

Ashley was silent for a few moments after Shadow spoke "...Sounds pretty cool to me!" She replied, smiling "I dunno why you say it's not."

''Because he's dead, what are you? Stupid?" Shadow asks and she sighs laying back down, staring at the sky "Not that you would understand" she says, it was strange why someone would think it's cool, while it wasn't.

"I just think it's cool that he can do that, you didn't have to say it like that..." Ashley replied, a hurt look on her face. She looked away and mumbled something just loud enough for Shadow to hear "You have no clue what I am... Ignorance truly is bliss."

"Like I care what you are, all I really care about it getting my revenge on the bastard who killed me" Shadow says and she gets up grabbing the basket "Let's go, there's no need to hand around her" she mumbles and walks of.

"At least you can die." Ashley replied in the same mumble before standing up and walking in the other direction. She'd only been curious about the dog anyway, she didn't need this crap right now.

Shadow sighs and she walks towards the forest, she needed some peace and quiet right now, or kill some monsters, either would be fine really, even better she could look for Ganondorf so she could kill him, not that she would succeed anyway, but trying wouldn't hurt.

There were plenty of monsters hanging around the forest that Shadow could beat up on. Unfortunately there was no sign of Ganondorf or his Demon friend, however as she fought deeper into the forest, she spotted somebody else fighting monsters as well. This was another girl, obviously older than Ashley, wielding a magic staff with a red gem at its tip, generating a magical blade that she was using to fight.

(.... aren't you kinda controlling my character there?)

Shadow kills another monster, checking for any signs of the coward "I'll find him and beat him once" she mumbles and turns around to walks of, she was going to make a camp somewhere, she didn't need sleep, but she did need rest and sometimes she wishes she hadn't died, even though she would thank Ganondorf for giving her some magic.

(I thought it was a foregone conclusion that Shadow was going to be fighting monsters. Sorry I was wrong.)

(I'm confused. Tell me how I was controlling your character, without doing something that they were already doing, or going to do.)

(Well the fact the wasn't fighting yet, she hadn't even reached the forest, also she noticed the other girl while it could have happened that the two missed each other)

The exact same thing could also have been said for Ashley, and you didn't complain then.

Is there anything else?)

(nope, but I just realized it and in case you hadn't noticed, I made them bump into each other, and did not control your character, same when the wolf passed through her, he ran, you choose to follow)

(I don't see a difference in situation. Shadow is fighting monsters in the forest, and sees another girl who's also fighting. Shadow hasn't done anything else past that point. I only wrote what she was already going to do, and described what she saw of my character that she saw there.)

(who said she was going to spot the girl? you did, they could have passed each other without seeing each other, and she wasn't there yet and she wasn't fighting there yet)

(I would assume the sounds of battle would've drawn her attention. And what I did in regards to her not fighting and not being in the forest yet is called a small time skip. Were you planning on something happening on her way there?)

(don't know and time skips are normally done when you discus it, also Shadow was focusing on finding Ganondorf, and it could happen that she didn't notice anyone else and therefor not see anyone else, it's my character)

(What discussion? I didn't think there was anything to be discussed. She was on her way to the forest, she was going to be fighting monsters, and honestly I didn't see any reason to discuss it. Sure, time skips spanning hours or even days are discussed, but in my experience a few minutes' walk to the forest and fighting monsters shouldn't have been a problem.

Focused on finding Ganondorf or not, when you're fighting you're generally aware of your surroundings. If she was so focused on finding Ganondorf that she wouldn't notice somebody fighting a few feet away... I'm sorry, but now I understand exactly why she was killed.)

(you were just controlling my character, of course you fail to see my point, it's not about when or what, but in those few minutes a lot could happen, also if that other girl was deep in the forest it would have been impossible, since you made Shadow go deeper into the forest)

(Well sorry, none of my characters were around, and you left me in an awkward position to respond to. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry that you're so insanely strict about what your character does in what time frame.

I'm done with this. I can see that explaining my position is doing nothing for you. If you don't like a simple time skip to get her into the forest to meet another one of my characters and jumpstart the story, this just simply won't work out. Goodbye.)

(it's not just about the simple timeskip, it's about controlling my character completely, now I see why your rps never last long)
