Hyrule is a peaceful land ruled by King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule. His daughter, Princess Zelda, has a prophetic vision about the Gerudo King Ganondorf Dragmire, a boy from the forest, and Hyrule falling into darkness.

But, you already know all of this. What's different, however, is that Ganondorf is not working alone. Reports have shown up all over Hyrule of a female Demon roaming around, and Zelda suspects she may be working with him. In addition, a strange little girl has entered the land, bypassing the forest barrier completely. She was also followed by two travelers, who have their own reasons for following her. In the meantime, the Fairy world has dispatched several search parties looking for their lost princess, who disappeared several days ago! Wow, there's a lot going on! Link might not be able to take care of all of this himself.

Ashley looked around at the area she'd entered, walking into the gates of Castle Town. Even so close to its walls, the city was still bustling with activity. Merchants selling their wares, people heading in and out of work; If there was an activity that could be done in this age, it was probably happening here.

And, of course, as she looked up she saw Hyrule Castle, in the center of Castle Town. Overlooking the entire city, it looked so majestic even from this distance. Ashley wished she could check it out up close, but she knew the guards over there wouldn't be too accommodating to her request. She settled for seeing what Castle Town had to offer, and headed off into the crowd.

Shadow is making her way through the crowd of people, to the gate, she was planning to leave the town and hopefully not come back, not able to see much she bumps into Ashley, but she manages to keep her balance "Sorry, I'm in a bit of a hurry" she mumbles,

"Oof! Oh, sorry!" Ashley said, as she bumped into somebody "That's okay, I wasn't looking where I was going. Don't let me bother you!" She replied to the woman's statement before continuing on.

As Shadow ran into Ashley and passed by her, she felt a presence. The dark magic that Ganondorf and his Demon friend accidentally planted inside of her reacted with something inside the girl. Something... Immensely powerful.

Shadow quickly leaves and she looks at her wolf companion who went ahead of her "Let's go" she says quietly and she walks of, she wished she had a horse at that point, but it was too risky to go to the ranch.

The fields of Hyrule were as peaceful as always, the green grass swaying in the wind as the sun shone down on the land. Not a single Monster was in sight, which was expected as the Hylian soldiers usually kept them at bay. They mostly resided in forests and places the militia couldn't reach. It was a very serene sight - Absolutely nothing like Shadow knew it was most likely going to be like in the near future, if Ganondorf was left unattended.

Shadow walks on, she was planning to visit lake Hylia, so she didn't have time to hang around, she needed a save place for when it was getting darker. She glances back at Castle Town, that girl she just ran into wasn't Hylian, not anything else she had seen so far.

Shadow's trip went uneventfully for a while, even until she reached Lake Hylia. There were a couple of Zoras out in the middle of the lake, minding their own business for the most part.

Shadow waves a some Zora's, she always felt at easy near the lake, maybe because people rarely came there, she sits down and pets her phantom wolf while deep in though, she had been bored and since she still hadn't gotten her revenge on Ganondorf she had to find a way to locate him.

Unfortunately, there was no way to do that. Ganondorf had, in all honesty, come out of nowhere. Nobody knew he was there, and he had made no moves to reveal himself either.

Shadow doesn't notice her companion leaving, but when she realizes he's missing she gets up and walks to one of the Zora's close to the shore "Have you seen my companion, the phantom wolf?" she asks, it was normal to ask Zora's since she felt safe with them, unlike with Hylians or Gorons, it could be because she's a half Zora herself.

The Zora shook his head "No, I'm afraid I haven't." He replied "I'll make sure to keep an eye out for him, though."

"Thank you, though I'm sure he'll come back, it's just that he never really leaves without reasons" Shadow says and she sighs "I'll go look around for him in the area" she says and runs of.

The Zora nodded, and dove into the water to let the others know to keep an eye out for the phantom wolf.

Shadow looks around, it was hard to spot her companion sometimes "Where did he go?" she asks, hope he hadn't gone back to Castle Town. The wolf had indeed gone back to get some food for Shadow, making sure to look like a dog, which was alive, he fails to see the girl from before on time and goes right through her, he runs of towards the side, hoping the girl hadn't seen him.

Ashley blinked as she saw a dog run right through her "Wha-... Hey, wait a second!" She yelled after it, chasing it. What was that? Was she just seeing things? No, she couldn't be... She resolved to catch up to this dog and figure out exactly what happened.

The wolf just keeps running, going through wall hoping to make it's escape, but he still wanted to get some food, since even Shadow needed to eat, he stops and hides in a dark place.

Ashley stopped as the animal ran straight through a wall. What was that? Some kind of... Ghost dog, or something. She started running in another direction, towards the nearest gate, to try and head it off on the other side of the town's walls, as she'd assumed that it was leaving the town after she'd seen it.

The wolf decides to head out of town after checking if the girl left, however upon arriving at the gate he sees her againy he heads another way, not wanting to get in trouble for getting caught, he had heard some travelers say that they had hidden some food, obviously they didn't notice the animal and were talking about it, a lot, now he only had to get the food and then go back to the lake, figuring Shadow must be worried.

"Hey, wait! Come back!" Ashley yelled after the phantom wolf, as she tried to catch up to it. It was faster than her, though, and she soon had to stop and rest for a while "Geez... You don't have to run away like that, you know..." She said, as she plopped herself down on the grass.

The wolf stays close to the girl, wondering why she hadn't run of yet, most people would run of scared upon seeing an animal run through walls, he looks around and sees the place the two men were talking about, so he heads there and starts digging, quickly finding what seems to be a basket, he takes it and walks of towards lake Hylia

Ashley watched as the wolf dug something up and walk away. Standing up, she decided to follow it again since it wasn't running this time, seeing the basket of food "Ah... Are you hungry?" She asked the... Animal? Spirit? Spirit Animal, she'd decided to call it.

The wolf looks at Ashley before walking on, towards the lake. Shadow is back where she first was "No sign of him everywhere" she says and lays on her bed, looking at the sky, she's have to make a camp soon.

Ashley's curiosity compelled her to continue following the Spirit Animal, all the way to the lake "Woah." She said, as they approached it "Now that's a lake. Those guys over there seem to be having fun - I wish I could swim that fast." She added, seeing the Zoras in the lake. She continued to follow the wolf until they reached Shadow, though her eyes were still on the lake so she didn't notice her yet.

Shadow sits up as soon as her wolf companion sets down the basket "You went to the town didn't you? I told you so many times not to" she says, but pets the wolf "But it seems you just wanted to get something to eat for me" she says and smiles slightly, the wolf lays down resting it's head on Shadow's lap while looking at the Zoras.
