The Last 30 Days [Inactive]

"No!" Isabelle turned to Blake, "I want you to come with." She bit her lip and smiled as sweetly as she could. "How am I supposed to know if I'm buying the right thing or not? What if I pick out a huge pair of polka dot something or anothers?"

Isabelle tilted her head, seeing as they were at a light she figured it'd be okay to distract the drive. She leaned out of her seat towards Blake and kissed him along the jaw, and whispered in his ear. Trying to sound sexy was a little hard for her yet, but she still pleaded, "Please?"

At first Blake was confused, but then he understood that this was the type of distracting they had been talking about yesterday. He instinctively tilted his head the other way to allow more access to his jaw. "Hun, you need to make up your mind. One minute you're telling me I don't need to come, the next you're begging me to."

"I never said you shouldn't come, but now I want you to." She kissed him quickly and the light turned green. Back in her seat she felt a little proud of herself, and happy he'd obliged the kiss. The last light was coming up, and she crossed her fingers for luck, wondering if it would turn red this time as well.

"You like a shade of blue, right?" Isabelle asked, she couldn't recall the name. "That's why I need you, so I can find that shade in a nice new pair of panties. Yes. You have to help me now." She laughed, not sure if Blake would find it amusing, but she was sure he had to come with, no matter how flustered she became.

Blake didn't answer until the last light, and he bit down hard on his lip, stepping down on the gas pedal. There was no way he was not going to make this light. To his delight, he managed to make it and he jumped in his seat, smiling. "Yes!"

"Oh, and yeah, that would be nice, but the colour is kinda rare. You hardly find the perfect match, but we can try."

Isabelle cheered as they passed the light, it was about time.

"I'll try, and if I find it..." Isabelle put a finger to her mouth, thinking. "If I find it, massage for me. If I don't, massage for you. Fair?" She turned again to look at Blake, simple terms. Hopefully he'd accept, or at least make up better terms of his own.

They pulled up in a parking lot, far back from the entrance. It was the weekend, so the stores would be busy as usual.

"A massage?" he repeated, rolling his shoulders as he imaged hands rubbing out his back. He got out of the truck and helped Isabelle out, holding on to her hand as they walked to the front entrance. The parking lot was partly full, even this early in the morning. "Yeah, sure. I accept that deal"

They entered the mall and started to pass a few stores neither of them wanted to go inside. Isabelle pointed to a few blues, trying to see if she could figure out what color she was really looking for. Luckily, it wasn't too bright inside, so she kept her special glasses in her purse. If she'd brought the cane, and had been wearing them, she could pull off being blind.

"Maybe I shouldn't have made that deal." Isabelle grumbled. The color really was impossible to find. "I might lose."

((Sorry it took so long for me to answer, I had to go to a two day conference))

Every time she pointed out a blue clothing article Blake shook his head, telling her it wasn't the right colour. "You will lose this deal and I'll need to buy lotion for the massage." He stuck his tongue out playfully and pointed out a store Isabelle might like to go on. They walked in and started looking around.

((It's okay, I'm at a friends house so I won't be able to post for a bit))

Isabelle frowned. "I'm not going to lose. Just you wait." She said confidently. "This one?"

In her hands she held a blue scarf in the new store. It was soft and felt sleek between her fingers as she rubbed it back and forth.

"Am I at least getting closer?" She asked innocently, staring up with her bright green eyes.

Blake shook his head once more, shoving his hands in his pockets. "You are getting closer, and I'll give you a hint. It's a richer blue than that," he said, gesturing with his chin to the scarf in her hand. He wasn't sure how else to explain the colour, it was such a unique shade of blue. "Like I said, try to think of the roofs in Grece."

Isabelle set the scarf back down and sighed. It was likely she would lose the bet she herself had created. "Alright. I'll keep looking." She slowly walked from different racks and shelves to examine various articles of clothing. A shirt here and there, some dressed she'd never have the opportunity to wear.

There were some thigh high socks at the end of a row, some of which had comical patterns with mustaches or birds on them. One was a normal pair, though, just black in color. She recalled hearing how some guys thought it was hot when a girl wore those kind of socks, but she shook it out of her mind, and shyly walked to a different rack.

"I'm going to try to win. It'll happen, I swear." Isabelle said again, with a little less confidence.

Blake also eyed the thigh highs, for a second he thought she was going to take a pair. But she didn't, and that didn't bother him too much. He followed Isabelle through the store and every once in a while looked around for something she might like. His eyes stopped on a blue dress, the right shade of blue. He taped Isabelle on the shoulder and pointed to it. "That's a nice dress."

((The colour in the picture isn't the right shade of blue but whatever))

((I'm actually familiar with the color))

"Is that it?" Isabelle asked with a smile on her face before rushing to see the dress. It was cute, she thought, a very pretty color indeed. No wonder Blake liked it, the color was distinct and full as she might say. She browsed for a second before she found her size and pulled one from the rack, holding it in front of her body.

It was long enough to cover herself, but still short enough that the entirety of her leg was visible. This wasn't something for a windy day, that was for sure.

"I like it, it's really cute." Isabelle announced. "And I won."

Blake scrunched up his face and shook his head, crossing his arms in front of his chest. "Um, sorry to burst your bubble, but I pointed the dress out. So technically you didn't win, but I'll let is slide for the sake of your ego." He gave her a smile and hoped she knew he was joking about the ego part.

"Didn't you listen to the deal?" Isabelle pouted, holding the dress lower and closer to her waist. "If I find it I win, If I don't find it you win. I still saw it, so, I win." She shrugged, the logic behind her reasoning was flawed, and she knew it. All the same, she laughed and slung the dress over her arm.

"I think I'll buy this, we can go to another store now." Isabelle stated, and headed up to pay.

Blake's eyes narrowed and he made a face, trying hard to understand the logic behind what Isabelle had just said. "You do realize that..." he trailed off with a sigh, figuring it wasn't worth the effort. He handed her the money for the dress and ran a hand through his brown hair.

"Are you sure?" Isabelle asked as he handed her the money. She smiled anyways, "Thanks, Blake."

They left the store and headed further into the mall. Isabelle held on to Blake's arm with both of her hands, bag from the last store wrapped by the handle on her arm. She still felt dizzy and her head hurt as usual, but today was a good day. A few stores down, Isabelle spotted a store with tall, bodacious women on ads near the doors. She blushed, realizing it was Victoria's Secret. Isabelle said she'd go in with Blake, but she was feeling nervous and awkward now.

Get over it, she told herself.

Blake noticed Isabelle's eyes on Victoria's Secret and how she blushed while looking at it. "You can go in there while I go shop for myself," he said, already starting to detach her from his arm. "I don't really want to see what you get. I want it to be a surprise." This was true, but he would also feel awkward walking into that store.

"Okay." Isabelle nodded, reluctantly detaching from Blake. "I'll let you know when I'm done."

She stepped inside and already felt out of place. Girls with waists thinner than their own pinkie fingers strutted through the store in tight fitting clothes. Isabelle sighed and continued walking around anyways. She picked up a few garments, stripes, flowers, solid colors. She sighed, not knowing what she really wanted.

Blake watched her walk all the way to the store and he only left when she was no longer in sight. Where he'd go he had no idea, what he'd buy he was even more clueless towards. He wandered around until finally entering a store, looking at all the clothes. There was hardly anything he liked, let alone wanted, but eventually he stumbled upon a burgundy shirt and a pair of black pants. He got those and also a red plaid button down.

Isabelle picked out a few things and was led into a dressing room by a red haired employee named Melissa. She took off her top and tried on what she'd picked out. In the mirror she'd turn and twist, to find what angles were attractive and which ones weren't.

In the end, she found a few good things. She treated herself to a cute silk night shirt she liked, and added it to what she purchased. If she could, she'd keep it a secret for as long as she could.

She pulled out her phone once outside the store, I'm all done. No peeking! D:

Blake was also done and he texted back, telling her he'd be there in a second. He walked back to Victoria's secret and smiled at Isabelle. He picked at her back pretending to peek into it. "Whatcha get, whatcha get?" he asked, acting excited. He was excited though, he couldn't wait to see what she had gotten.

"Stop it!" She whined as he pretended to peek into her bag, pulling it aside she waved her hand at him and laughed. "Later, I certainly bought enough, that's for sure. Come on, is there anywhere else you wanted to go?"

Isabelle smiled at Blake. He made her feel more than special, more like she was the most lovely girl in the world. She felt good, and it showed. Her skin was always red around him, lit up with some bit of color, and she forgot about the future.

"We could go shoe shopping, you know, take a few days going down the aisles." Isabelle joked.

"A few days, holy," he said, eyes widened. "I don't think they'd let us stay here that long." He smiled a content smile and they walked towards a show store, hand in hand. Blake's thumb rubbed circles into the back of Isabelle's hand and he laughed to himself, jokingly telling himself that it was practice for the massage.

"I don't think so either." Isabelle shook her head. "Maybe if we had a billion dollars, but I don't think that'll happen."

She tapped her head against his shoulder as they walked, content now that they'd mostly finished their shopping for the day. Isabelle tried to think about what she wanted to wear, again reverting to her more embarrassed self. He wanted it to be a surprise, but she was more worried about acting weird again.

"Wanna get some food?" Isabelle asked, now that they were nearing the food court.
